Don't worry about dressing up!
I watched the violin quartet concert.
The one sitting next to me was the mother of one of the performers (laughs).

Originally established in 1637, the opera house is said to be the most beautiful in the world. I watched Tosca.
The interior is a gorgeous and classic interior that further enhances the excitement that the opera is about to begin.
I was impressed to hear the sound well.

Interesting historic building close to Saint Mark's Square. The price of the visit is low: around ten euros. There is little, see no tourist between noon and two. The audio guide is free. It would be a shame not to visit the phoenix theater.

Beautiful, simply stunning! Have seen La Traviata from Verdi from the royal box and were thrilled. The stage design was enchantingly creative and modern without being bland and the artists were outstanding. The hall and the rest of the building are also very magnificent and simply beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!

Really nice place to visit, although the audio guide is a bit long winded by repeating information. Once I got the gist of it, about halfway through I just walked around and enjoyed it visually without the audio guide.

Very nice and interesting visit to do. Full price 11, otherwise for students (upon presentation of the university card) it costs 7. With the audio guide you can listen to interesting explanations and move around inside the theater (entrance, foyer, stage, grandstands and boxes, theater rooms and ballrooms). There is also a small exhibition dedicated to Maria Callas! Super recommended and a must see!

When we visited the theatre (30/5/18), we wanted audio guides, as we didn't have much knowledge of the history of venue. We waited for about 10 minutes while the staff member issuing the audio guides, tried to reunite people returning their audio guide equipment with their passports etc which they had evidently left with her. This seemed to take an inordinate amount of time, as the filing system she was using seemed to confuse her somewhat. When we eventually got her attention, we were told (rudely) as we had no photo ID, we were unable to have a audio guide. How ridiculous!! My husband even offered to leave a credit card as a surety..but this was rejected. We toured the theatre which was beautiful, but the whole experience was marred by this.

Gran Teatro La Fenice, located in the San Marco district in Campo San Fantin, is today the main opera house in Venice. Twice destroyed and rebuilt [1], it was the site of important opera and symphonic seasons and the International Festival of Contemporary Music.

Scandallo! 11 Euros and many inaccessible parts, and without prior information of the service personnel. Visit to be discouraged. 2 years ago we had already done and at that time everything was accessible. In addition, the person at the entrance, by the way very unpleasant, asked to see our tickets while she let us in
