From the outside you would not expect to find such opulence within. The theatre has been renovated extremely nicely, worthwhile a visit to look around. Now to follow a performance is something different if you are taller than 1.80m. In the stalls you do not know where to put your legs and knees, the seats are uncomfortable to sit in, they are way to short. It was pure torture for me measuring 1.88m. Another person who was slightly taller who had his seat in the row ahead, he simply left his wife behind and left the theatre, giving away his ticket - I do commiserate with him.
So - if you are taller than 1.80m - go and visit the premises but do not buy a ticket, unless maybe in one of the balconies where they might have chairs you can move around.

We went as it was recommended by Venizia Unica and were glad we did. The theatre is decorated beautifully and the audio guide provided interesting insight into the theatre's past. Not really stimulating enough to interest young children but a nice couples outing.

An interesting history and a very pleasant place to discover. Admission is 10 and the "Foto + Video" pass 3 . The audio guide is included in the ticket price. Exhibition on the Callas as a bonus. An unmissable place!

Very nice performance (we saw Il Barbiere di Siviglia). Although we had rather cheap seats, we could see stage and subtitles well. The staff helps you find a place and was also friendly at the gate cloakroom. Very hidden from the outside, does not look like a typical opera house, but from the inside it is very nice and also recommended for a visit without an opera ( 10 for access and audio guide)

Beautiful, fairytale streets! A completely different climate than in other districts of the city.
Charming narrow streets. Small and bigger pubs at every step. Real Greek Siga Siga.
I recommend this place to everyone!

Extraordinary theater with perfect acoustics. Rebuilt entirely after the fire in the early nineties, it brings with it the notes of the great lyrical works represented there. A magical place.

Fantastic and unique theater. A great starting point not only for cultural highlights. A visit to the theater is also worthwhile, in order to explore only the inside of the building. The building has been rebuilt several times and is therefore only partially historical. For this, the theater was really rebuilt with attention to detail and today combines the charm of past centuries with modern technology, which, however, is not noticeable.

1 of the most beautiful Italian theaters works well sometimes it wants to make too much money and rents apollonian rooms depriving subscribers of uncomfortable seats since they have changed satisfactory rounds: there should be a jacket obligation for the public at least !!!!! !

A beautiful theater.

A beautiful theater.
I really enjoyed the visit with the audio guide

Wonderful experience, splendid theater and the simple fact of being in Venice gives him one more star. The negative note is related to the staff, really to be avoided, to enter without asking anything, they really disappointed me.
