It is a beautiful building. Well worth the rebuilding over the years. The Verdi room and the ballroom are stunning
Great opera house (we saw la traviata). Went there during the day and got some great discount on premium tickets.
Magnificent place where we expect to come across La Callas. To visit absolutely !!!
Absolute must see in Venice. We had a not so expensive last minute ticket on first row to assist to Bartok's Bluebeard and A hand of bridge, shortest opera ever.
Historic place.
Gentle and affable petsonial.
Services of an impeccable cleanliness.
Coffee bar well stocked.
Valuable show
Very beautiful costumes and set design.
Inaugurated in 1792, the Fenice theater is a historic Venetian theater that thanks to the recent reconstruction, due after the fire of 1996, has regained the beauty of the past as a revival of the legendary bird, thanks also to quality programming. Even a simple internal visit is recommended.
A theater not at all special beauty.
Special acoustics.
A beautiful theater with a very special atmosphere. You feel amazingly transported back in time. Don't forget an evening at Fenice ...
If you want to have a drink during the break, you are well advised to secure the necessary coupon, which is sold by employees with a vendor's tray in the foyer, before the start of the performance ....
go on the dress rehearsal as we did day wow ! 12 Euro to walk around but 3.30 the full rehearsal start again wow ! Only allowed to take pictures before they start !
This is an old theatre made into a grocery store. Go and take a peek. Neat re-use of a building.
Beautiful huge and immense theater where you can see many shows with equally spectacular scenery! And it is possible to make the visit with an audio guide that explains every part of the theater and makes the very important music heard too! Therefore it is a theater not to be missed !!!
Great place to visit even when no shows are happening. The design of the building from the inside is out of this world!
What a wonderful theater! perfect, magical atmosphere Restoration!
An opera lover shouldn't miss a level without big stars.
Simply a dream, every classic fan must have seen this opera house
Pleasant experience, the guide was very kind and not boring
I lived in Venice for a month and went to the Opera 6 times. It is great to go standing room and you always find a seat after intermission people leave. Love Venice and the Italians.
Destroyed and rebuilt several times, the last in 2003 after the great fire of '96. Despite this, the atmosphere you breathe is absolutely unique and evocative. For some, it surpasses La Scala in beauty.
Recently renovated after a bad fire, it is one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe.
Amazing building and history. Lucky to see a rehearsal for their next opera. Great experience.
Absolutely stunning theatre, however the audio guide rambled quite a lot. Maybe a digest version would be good?
Very interesting visit! Richly decorated interior. You will understand why the allegory of the Phoenix is suitable for this place.
What a spectacular site. It is worth it just for the building.
Magical place and magnificent audio guide at the top.
The theater can be visited and the audio guide is included in the ticket price.
Wonderful experience but very hot inside and a tight squeeze. The Barber of Seville was superb!
Even by Italian standards incredibly arrogant and incompetent staff. Even the simplest questions are answered with shrugs and listlessness ... just 10 visitors at lunchtime !!! at the
best avoid it !!!
Great opera house in the heart of Venice. Comfortable seat spacing, despite a height of 185 cm.
Interesting audio guide tour, beautiful inside and outside.
Beautiful place to discover with a beautiful story that follows the rooms
Magnificent historical theater. Absolutely to visit the inside
Rebuilt where it was and how it was, after the fire it maintains its charm and good acoustics. A source of pride for Venice is also its programming, always at the top. One of the most beautiful Italian theaters. Regardless of the musical season, it can be visited and it is worth doing it. Among other things, it also has an excellent restaurant bar.
Fantastic decor inside, looks very grand. Opera was also enjoyable
Beautiful theater faithfully rebuilt. At the entrance, if you cannot or do not want to download the APP, you will be given the audio guide with earphones that are left to you at the end of the tour. The visit is well organized, just select the right numbers on the audio guide that are located at the entrance of the rooms. Polite and helpful staff. The entrance ticket also served to have a discount at the parking in Piazzale Roma.
Magical place returned to the present after a tremendous fire. To visit and listen!
The amazing site to visit. A beautiful place and know every corner. It only happened to us that we bought tickets online and the hours are not the same as they appear in the box office that online. You have to look at the schedules well since they are not the same every day.
The theater is very elegant but I don't like it because it's all redone due to the fires
One of the oldest and most famous theaters in Venice
An identical performance hall. It is sumptuous. The acoustics are excellent. If you can, book a show!
The theater is beautiful. Only waters with the places they buy because the back seats do not see the stage well in some boxes
wonderful, not to be missed! the restoration carried out after the fire of 1996 returned it in all its splendor.
It is a fantastic theater for its construction, good sound, for its boxes and stalls. Everything in general.
In Fenice the best world singers have sung Opera.
Most of the Italian Operas have been sung there.
It was inaugurated in 1792.
After two fires, one in 1836 and the other in 1996, it became operational again in 2003.
The great singer Maria Callas has an exhibition dedicated.
The Royal Box is magnificent.
The capacity is one thousand spectators of Opera, Ballet and Concerts.
Fenice is very famous worldwide.
