The most beautiful theater I've seen. You can only enter with guided tour. For foreigners there are 1000 pesos, 400 residents.

Incredibly beautiful place. You can not go! On Sunday the entrance is cheaper, 650 pesos (during the week is 800), however it is good to buy in advance because the demand is great. When we went, we arrived at the first time Sunday morning and were able to buy only for the latter. The visit lasts 50 min and takes place every 15 min. It is well worth knowing !!

To visit in December 2018 I paid 500 pesos. The visit is scheduled when the ticket is purchased. The tour is guided and lasts 50 minutes. I advise you to go on days that you can not do an open air tour.

The Colon Theater is an architectural work of art. And if you are a fan of the opera, you will be able to see works with leading artists. The staging is amazing. The suits, the scenery. The orchestra is wonderful.

Imposing. I recommend the guided tour to know a little more about the history and visit spaces that are not commonly visited. We were lucky enough to see an opera rehearsal and hear the wonderful acoustics in the room. There are functions accessible when they are not premieres. Once in a lifetime you have to go!

Impressive theater, super recommended to visit. I also recommend doing the guided tour that is done every day every few minutes, and last about an hour. If you can and are interested, the functions are beautiful too, there are orchestras, ballets and operas. All information on this is detailed on the website of the theater. Usually there are prices that start from a fairly accessible base, and also free tickets are usually offered to watch the trials of the works during the week before the weekend premiere. In addition to the main hall, orchestras and other musicals are performed in the theater's golden hall.

It is one of the best lyrical theaters in the world, its acoustics are excellent, 2 months ago I had the opportunity to see La Traviata at Lincoln Center in New York and I could see that the acoustics of our historic theater are much better. A national pride I recommend a guided tour of the subsoil where there are the warehouses of props, costumes from the operas, ballets from years ago, and tour the rest of the rooms. On 7/6/2019 I went to see ballet: "Classic and contemporary night" the brilliant Allegro of Tchaikovsky very loose the dancers, they are not coordinated. Clear of Bach and Fancy Free of Bernstein very good.
In the 2 interns I went to the bar to have a drink, it is very expensive and there were no people

Best Opera theater in Latin America. You need to not only watch a play in the theater; but also visit the undergrounds on a guided tour for seeing the wardrobes.

Your guided tour is interesting, it provides specific data on the construction or the main hall that is sometimes unknown. For Argentine residents with ID it costs $ 90 and lasts about an hour. It leaves from the Carriage Passage and runs through the Hall, the Main Foyer, the Busts Gallery and the Golden Hall. You can take pictures whenever it is without flash. On the ground floor there is a mini shop to buy souvenirs from the theater.

Very punctual on guided tours and interesting tour. I did not attend any presentation, so I cannot comment on that.

Beautiful place, very elegant and exclusive. But, if you are going to see a work or an expectation, buy at the bottom or in the boxes that face the stage, from the sides you can not see anything. The seats are not suitable for high, the rows are extremely stuck. Take it into account.

Magnificent. The only drawback that they don't notify you when they sell you tickets is that on weekdays they do light shows and the lights in the main hall are off. The guide told me that technicians only rest on Mondays, so that day they would be on.

It is huge and very nice, it has guided tours but you have to ask for them in time because they sell out quickly.
