I recommend this visit. We did the English language and found out so much about not only the development of the theatre itself but also the nature of BA's social life in 1900 and the extent of Italian and French cultural influences. Well worth the 12 general admission.

A dream place, an Argentine wonder of world stature and fame ... and one day you come back in and you fall in love again! I went to see "Cinderella" with part of my family and some friends; Beautiful staging, top-level dancers, choreography, with live instrumentation, what can you add? If you can visit it and enjoy it. I dream of the day that is popularly accessible for all people to know. A pleasure!!!

Simply excellent, if you can go I recommend it.

It is a unique experience in Buenos Aires, it is magnificent. There are no words to describe so much architectural and cultural beauty in the same space.

Nice experience. Never in my 56 years had I visited the Colon.
The history that surrounds it, the spiders, the imposing golden room, very nice. Discount to retired people, pensioners and Veterans of Malvinas.
One hour guided tour, every 20 minutes, Sundays has two schedules with popular prices. The normal cost is about three hundred pesos. Worth it.

Beautiful architecture, if you want to go to the theater I advise you to buy in advance as they sell out quickly, but there is a guided tour for 1000 pesos that allows you to know everything. Around 50min ride.

This grand building has been fully restored and is a sight to behold.

The hour-long tour is a steepish 250 pesos per person but the English speaking guide was engaging and even sang to us when talking about famous operas.

One if the oldest still operating Theatre in Argentina. We have been several times seating in different seats. All had great viewing and sound. The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. Performances are amazing and surprisingly very well done. The orchestra is always perfect. Only negative would be the size of the seats themselves but it's a one hundred year Theatre.

The theater is beautiful and the visitation is very interesting and fun. It is a great tour for those who like to know more about art and culture. The guides take the groups to visit the halls and rooms of the theater, while giving detailed descriptions of the history of the place. You can even see rehearsals and set scenarios of the parts. The price, however, is not so friendly.

The guided tour of the Teatro Colon is not to be missed if you visit Buenos Aires, it offers you the opportunity to get to know one of the best and most important theaters in the world inside, with exquisite acoustics and architecture comparable to the Scala in Milan, the Paris Opera, the Vienna Opera, London's Covent Garden and New York's Metropolitan

I did the guided tour, which was something I had pending. Take the ticket online and enter the stipulated time. The group we were about 30 people calculated with a guide who explained the most important things in the entrance hall, the golden room and the main room
The building is beautiful, it seems that one is in a European palace, a marvel
The visit cost $ 250 and it is very worth it.

This Theater is magnificent. For some it may seem expensive (after all, it is 300 pesos a 50-minute guided tour), but you need to understand a little the proposal of the tour: it is a contemplation of architecture and theater in itself. The history of its construction, its technical characteristics from the acoustics to the natural ventilation system are just some of the examples that need to be considered calmly. For art lovers and curious, it is a super recommended tour.

Excellent historical place of Buenos Aires. What I liked the most is that they have a differentiated rate for Argentine citizens and another for foreigners. And as a student you only get $ 100 on weekdays.

Absolutely stunning opera house and one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. I had the opportunity to tour the building, and if you get a chance to do so, don't pass it up. Even if you aren't an opera fan, the building itself is magnificent and it's fascinating to see the stage, back-stage area, and different seating areas.
