Beautiful building with lots of history. If you are into museum, theater, or just history in general it's worth taking the guided tour. Our cost was about $250 peso with a English guide.

The excellent theater.

The excellent theater.
But I did the guided tour and the truth is very poor.
They only show you the tickets and a box to see the room from there.
I really hoped to visit much more given the enormous theater.
I don't know maybe some dressing room dressing rooms workshops ... something ... none of that is shown in the visit. It is very poor.

It is so beautiful elegant manor. The guided tours fantastic. And the room during shows of any impressive type. You can not miss it. Neither citizens nor tourists are going to be surprised and very happy to have this theater in Argentina

It is an incredible place, where you have to visit the main room (one of the best in terms of acoustics in the world). In its preparation you can see a great variety of materials and above all the French influence predominates in its decorations. It was recently restored and is currently impeccable.

It is spectacular in itself. The details, the architecture, the decoration and especially the sound, make it an incredible experience, even for those of us who do not know classical music. Safety pin

Speechless!!!!
A wonderful world class theater. It recalls golden times of an Argentina that is already far away. A real pride

Only comparable with the story itself. Sublime. Beyond impeccable technical issues, it is an indescribable sensation that surpasses its geography to place it in a magical place of Buenos Aires for humanity.

Excellent!!!

Only 5 stars because there is no more.

Spectacular! A pride of theater. Very very beautiful! The infrastructure is a beauty! How it is restored is impressive! Super recommended as a walk, either alone or with the family. Going to see a show is a luxury! No need to spend a lot on tickets. Go to the gathering that is cheap, the entrance and the acoustics of the place are impeccable, it does not look very good but you hear ten! Super super recommended

Whenever I go to the Colon Theater, I am astonished, so beautiful. But in this last opera, I stood on the right side. I didn't like it because you couldn't see the full stage or hear the arias to perfection. A feather...

Today I discovered why it is considered one of the best acoustic theaters in the world. And of yapa .... I checked it by witnessing the last rehearsal of the show "Star Wars in concert". In short: Awesome

Despite the website stating there was an English-speaking tour, once we had walked up from San Telmo we were told it was Spanish only. We don't have long in Buenos Aires, so this was a big waste of our time. Shame as the pictures look amazing.

Awsome

I went to see Santaolalla on Wednesday, it was incredible, the Colon theater is magnanimous, the only criticism is that the drums did not sound ideal, since the drummer bounced a lot, despite the acrylic. I imagined that the theater is not prepared for that kind of instrument.

The building is beautiful, and the visit is very good. The visits are available in different languages. I also recommend checking the colon page, there are several things available for free.

Beautiful! Must visit for Argentines and foreigners. The Colon Theater is recently restored, they managed to transport their visitors in time to the time of their greatest splendor and more! It lives up to any European historic building. A marvel! $ 250 for foreigners, $ 90 for residents. It is open until 8pm and the guided tour (highly recommended) until 5pm

It is not very cheap but it is worth it.

As you know, it is a historical and exclusive place. It is not adequate to the needs of today. I did not enjoy the acoustics as much as I would have expected from such a place. The excellent Symphony. Beautiful and finely decorated.
