One of the best and most important sites to see while in buenos aires. The guided tour was very good, but booking in advance to see a play or the opera should be on your list of things to do in argentina! Definitely reccomend Teatro Colon

Beautiful experience The history that surrounds it, the spiders, the imposing golden room, very beautiful. One hour guided tour, every 20 minutes, on Sundays they have two schedules with popular prices. The normal cost is about three hundred pesos. Worth it.

Background of the musical activity in Buenos Aires
The Colon Theater in the city of Buenos Aires is considered one of the best theaters in the world. Recognized for its acoustics and the artistic value of its construction, its current building turned 100 in 2008.

Excellent, I love it, every time I go to see something I get fascinated, impressive in every way, sound, lights, stages, every corner, every corner is full of artistic details, with a great trajectory and history, in addition to being a place for all ages and all budgets, since its prices are accessible to everyone, it is a cultural place that never ceases to amaze, whether you go to see opera or ballet always fills your soul.

I do not know what to add, apart from commenting on the experimental modality of the theater, offered throughout the year, in a variety of options, all of great staging, in a relaxed atmosphere, where in general, the visitor unaccustomed to the Theater from this depth, you will find in this space, endless attractions and excellent moments. They are unnumbered entries and very low cost.

What else to say about this magical place, not only because of the events that take place there, as the main venue for the classical music of the city, but also for its wonderful architecture that is only overshadowed by its own opulence, it is hard to imagine that this place is concentrated so much waste that perfection in its walls, and in its concerts, where musicians dedicated for life to their craft always offer a great show.

I loved it, excellent acoustics, actors, I saw the play "The stories of Hoffmann" really have to go, it was fascinating. The only bad thing was the blond and older lady who attended us on November 30 and keeps the backpacks, they made us leave them and the lady asked us to leave a "will" we asked her if we could leave her when we left, since only having that day To visit BsAs we decided to go to the theater late and wanted to take place (we only reached the entrances to be stopped). He said contemptuously and laughing "are Peruvians, right? His will shows" I ignored him but after finishing the work and go to pick up the backpacks he told us "here are the Peruvian girls, like forgetting if they have so much will like all Peruvians. " Everything changed when we left 100 pesos to take care of our backpacks and his mocking tone changed, it really seemed very bad and I think they should be careful with those who hire. I put 5 stars because the theater, the play and everything except that person deserve it. But I leave warning of the behavior of that employee.

One of the highlights of Buenos Aires. This is the biggest opera theatre in the world built in a classic style and a result of Argentina's wealthiest era. The tour shows you the main rooms in the theatre and let you know a little bit of its history. The tour doesn't include the basements though.
It's an architectonic masterpiece that you shouldn't miss if you visit this city!

The theater contains a beautiful architecture, but the ticket amount for visitation could be more affordable, I do not consider a fair price. It is well located, at the front is the avenue with the famous obelisk and at the back a wide square. From the outside already gives beautiful photos.

When I went to buy the tickets had only vacancies for "unnumbered seats" as I was very interested in the presentation I bought. When I got to the ticket industry I just had no seats, I find it absurd to sell tickets for a 2-hour concert to watch on foot, and I also had a lot of babies crying, I do not think they should allow that.
The theater is beautiful, but the Buenos Aires orchestra missed a lot.
