Service is usually more communicative
But not today.
I think what really pissed me off is that ten people in the waiting area and no one ask if we are hungry when all the staff went and got food and it was in the main area. Even a little boy was told no you can t have any.

I went to trade my car in at this dealer. The salesmen where friendly and helpful enough. The guy who test drove my car walked to the car with his cell phone to his ear and never put it down while driving my car. My family sat at the salesman's desk in awe watching him leave and come back with the phone to his head. And to top it off my car has a manual transmission. I would suggest you drive your car on the test drive because there seems to be a lack of respect for the law and other people's belonging.

We brought our car in to get the back door fixed as it wouldn't open anymore. We were told we would get a call soon as the parts came in and to expect that call on Wednesday (they said this the Saturday before that Wednesday) getting these parts in and getting our door fixed ASAP is a huge priority to us as I'm expecting a baby in only a few weeks and need room for both baby and our 2 year olds car seat. Also needing to do some important shopping before baby arrives which requires the door to be fixed so our daughters car seat can be on the right side so the backseat can fold down. However Wednesday comes, no one calls as promised, my husband calls multiple times, no one helps him, no one calls him back with the information. He calls again Thursday and Friday, again no one will find out for him whether the part we need desperately to get our car fixed is in, let alone call us back. Sure enough a week later, on Saturday (the day I'm writing this review) my husband calls yet again on his only day off and they tell us the part came in on Wednesday, but no one called and apparently we are responsible for finding this info out for ourselves, even though the woman servicing our car(Katelyn) promised to call or text as soon as the part came in and get our car in the following day. Now they won't take our car in for yet another week despite the fact I'm very near to the end of my pregnancy and have every possibility of the baby arriving early. Apparently this is how "team" Ford is okay with treating families and expecting women.

Team Ford is outstanding, I brought my Crown Victoria P71 Interceptor in for service this week to get a Intake Manifold checked out for a leak and get some gaskets replaced. My service advisor Jessica did an amazing job, keeping me very well informed about the status of my vehicle over text while it was in the dealership and informing me of things that needed to be replaced besides the gaskets. The pricing was unbeatable and very acceptable. Not to mention the service was speedy. I would also like to thank the service team at Team Ford because a hour after I picked the vehicle up from service, I had blown a coolant line which caused the vehicle to be undriveable (Which was not fault of Team Ford, a Hose Clamp was weak and failed after they had to take the hose off to replace the gaskets.) I had gotten there at 5:30 with the tow truck and they got me taken care of and the car redropped off and back in for service the next morning, they replaced the clamp, refilled the coolant and cleaned the engine bay and made things right! I got the vehicle back that day and I so satisfied with the service I received. I would also like to give a huge thank you to the counter staff with budget rental, for being able to get me into two different loaners very quickly when the situation arose after my car breaking down again and being very friendly and helpful. Overall I am extremely pleased with the service from the Service Department, and Car Loaner service. Team Ford has earned my continued business by being extremely helpful in this tense situation and I will continue to bring my Crown Victoria there for service and will be seeing them soon for an oil change!

I never give reviews, at least the reviews the dealership requests, having been burned in the past. I hate the idea of giving a positive review when its not until you have your first issue you find the quality of the company you're dealing with.

The issues I encountered were not with the sale, the sale is the easy part. The issue I had was being sold "go auto coverage" this is a warranty that covers (or so i was told) nicks dings and small dents in the paint on the vehicle. In short as I will explain, their service is very poor and no one has a clue what their own in house warranty covers.

When I purchased the vehicle, Ricardo the finance manager I dealt with specifically said I wouldn't need 3M on the vehicle. Which was unfortunate because the 2nd day of ownership (March 4th 2017) I had already gotten a rock chip on the hood. Now I was called back in about 2 weeks later because apparently they hadn't processed my void cheque and I needed to come down and make the payment, no problem. While I was there I asked Ricardo the process for the rock chip on my hood. He waved me off and said oh you just make a claim but it has to be after 30 days of purchase. I left it for a few months until my friend who does 3M installs, offered to do the 3M on the vehicle for me after seeing the rock chips starting to add up. I have since received 3 or 4 more rock chips in the paint, I am very upset with the quality of the paint on my 2017 Ford Explorer.

I brought the vehicle in after booking an 8AM appointment to have the rock chips looked after. Now this is where everything breaks down and goes bad. I was there Promptly at 8AM after standing there for 20 minutes an elderly gentleman asks me if I have been helped. I said no, he said you better get into line. There has never been a line before when I brought previous vehicles in and people were getting out of there vehicles that were still outside, while mine was inside and they were being helped before me. so at 8:30AM when I finally get to speak to a service adviser I get told the specific issue that I made the appointment for wasn't covered under the warranty that I purchased with the explicit explanation that it WAS covered.

I immediately ask top speak to a manager, who to my surprise ALSO has no idea whats covered under the Go Auto Coverage. So we now have the person who booked my appointment, the Service adviser, and the Manager who all seem to have a differing opinion of what is covered. Low and behold when I start asking for my money back for being sold something that doesn't cover specifically what I was told it was for, the manager excuses himself to speak to finance. He comes back in short order and explains it IS covered, but not by them. I would have to make an appointment with a 3rd party who supposedly comes to me, but I have my doubts on how that is going to go. I will update this review if that exchanges proves favorable.

At this point I am extremely frustrated and upset with the treatment and confusion this process has ended with. The service and communication needs some SERIOUS work at Team ford and it is not winning my vote to send future business or even my own business to them. You see a LOT of reviews for Team ford most positive but not one of them is for the service AFTER the initial sale. Everyone is happy to take your money and will tell you anything you want to hear to get it. It is the after care that matters it is how you treat your customers 6 months after when they want you to honor warranties that were sold to them that matter. This is a huge failing on their part.

3 Weeks ago I called to make an appointment. Got a recall for some sensor (cant recall which one) in the mail. Also wanted to get my transmission fluid changed out and tires rotated. I asked them to check out some small rattle under the hood that comes in at low RPM. They booked me an appointment for Tuesday morning April 16th. Dropped the truck off at 8am. They never looked at the truck Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I called them Thursday multiple times to tell them i needed my truck for the weekend since Friday was a holiday, never got a hold of anyone. Left them a message looking for info on the truck. The only thing I got back was another text saying they needed my truck overnight. Never got my truck back for the weekend which i needed to pick up a genertor, haul a bunch of cement bags around, and get a bunch of drywall. Personal things which this service center obviously has no care for. Weekend ends, Monday i make another handful of calls with no success of contacting anyone again. Got another text tho in late afternoon saying they need my truck overnight again. Tuesday ( day 8 where they have had my truck) I call in the morning and actually get a hold of someone in service. She tells me Jeff is busy with a customer and will call me back "shortly". You can already guess I never got that call. 3pm i went into the dealership, finally got to talk with Jeff. Truck is sitting outside not even looked at yet. He says "we should be able to look at it tomorrow". I just told him i will take my keys, obviously they dont care or have time for it. I cannot believe you can run a service business with this ignorance and lack of care towards your customer. They couldn't even tell me when i first brought the truck in "Hey we are a bit backed up, could be longer than we first expected". This whole experience has been extremely frustrating and exhausting on the mind, not to mention a COMPLETE waste of my time. Still have no idea why it took so long, maybe because there was a recall item? I may call FORD Canada just to hear their thoughts.

Didn't have the best credit rating and they went to bat for me with the banks and were very respectful of my current situation. They answered every question I had and they worked their butts off to earn this sale including giving me more for my trade in to make everything work with my payments

Agreed on a price with the Sales Manager, go to sign the paperwork and the associate notices a discount they factored in suddenly does not apply. The associate then acts like a change in price is no big deal. Not the kind of treatment I want from a dealership. Two hours down the drain.

They deceitfully tried to get me to sign a loan DOUBLE the price of the car I was buying, by tacking on a bunch of additional and duplicate services.

Small tip by the way, DON'T PAY A FEE FOR A BLOCK HEATER! All fords made for the Canadian market already come with one, and the price is worked into the MSRP.

Long version:
I urge anyone who considers purchasing a vehicle from Team Ford to proceed with caution! Specifically in regards to their finance and sales team. I purchased a Focus from them just over a year ago and had a horrible experience. After clearly discussing multiple times, that I had zero interest in any "up sells": additional services/upgrades, we came to an agreement on a price point. Approximately in the $17,000 range. Now let me preface this complaint with the fact that I understand a dealership is a business and their goal is to turn a profit, however they purposely tried to mislead me into signing a loan for $34,000! When I sat down to sign the paperwork with their finance department, I was informed of all the great bonuses I'll receive with my purchase. Road side assistance, undercarriage and chip protection, etc. All that was left was to sign the loan paper. The paper that was conveniently partially covered up by pamphlets! When I told the overly kind finance lady that I would be reading everything before I signed anything, she urged me to sign and told me "don't worry, you'll get everything I just promised!" That's when I noticed the loan paper was for $34,000!! An additional $17,000 in bogus duplicate services! There was roadside assistance from multiple different companies that I would be paying thousands for. After raising a stink at this deceitful and predatory practice, I was apologized to and told that "the manager pressured them to get more money out of me."

I did eventually end up making the purchase, after they met my requirements. The only reason I waited over a year to post this review is the fact that my warranty is now expired, and have no need to bring my car there. I wouldn't trust them with it after writing a negative review.

Have bought multiple vehicles there and dealing with mr. Pisani in finance was great, also the guys in the quick service are awesome, but.... it seemed as time went on cause its attached to the go auto group they were always calling/emailing me with other products to sell like insurance. So I had went in and they said they could save me 900 a year and I signed up and cancelled my old insurance. Well 10 days later I get a call back saying they made a mistake and my insurance was actually going to be 300 more then my old place. So now I needed to go back to my old provider and start as a new customer. To top it off go auto wanted a 150 dollar cancellation fee. Be careful these guys are chicken hawks. Somce then I have been asking to get off there contact list cause I dont even live in the city anymore and these guys are ruthless with there calls and emails. It's a never ending story and they just come and come. Again mr.pisani and the guys of quick lube are a dream to work with!

Came here to buy a (still new) 2017 F-150. Rob was very friendly and had the truck ready for a test drive when I got there. Within a couple hours of the test drive, the papers were signed and the truck was mine. Rob and Joban went the extra mile to try to have some parts installed on my truck at my request but at the end of the day Ford Canada's pricing of the parts made the addition too cost prohibitive.

Janie was very friendly and personable. She was very efficient with the finance portion of the process and it was a pleasure working with her.

Dealership staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The building is very clean and well laid out. Some dealerships just feel too cramped but not this one. (The complimentary coffee is great by the way.)

I had the most amazing experience at Team Ford Edmonton yesterday. Usually when I see salesmen coming at me I turn and run but not yesterday.

I pulled into the sales lot to get my fix on dreaming of a bigger truck when a salesman came out to greet me. Kelly invited me in to discuss some options. Within a half hour there sat my new ride.

I am just amazed at how well I was treated during the process. It took some time to do all the paperwork but Kelly never left me unattended.

I was totally comfortable with Kelly as my salesman. His knowledge, professionalism, and kindness were amazing as he went over and above to please me the customer.

There were no surprises, my vehicle was done when they said it would be and they did beautiful work.
