Had the worse experience ever!!!!! Called to get some information on a tattoo with no info at all!! So went to the shop to ask questions and to get a quote no help what so ever!! Thought we should come back another day bc they seemed pre occupied!! Went back today May 29, 2019 with almost the same results except it was worse. Didn't think it was that complicated to get a quote for something very simple!! We (5) and also the other people waiting in the waiting area went up the road to a much better place got exactly what we wanted!! Glad y'all are that independently wealthy to where you don't have to take care of the customer!!

CLOSE IS AMAZING! I have eight tattoos right now and out of all eight only two of them am I 100% satisfied. I was hesitant after number six because I never left a shop with exactly what I want or if I went to a shop and it was too weird they looked like they did not want my business. I walked in and told Close the three things I was looking at to mesh together and he came up with an amazing design, Sam I Am on a giraffe offering up green eggs and ham! The second one was a memorial and I struggled with the idea but once I came up with the idea, he executed it perfectly. Even better is that I wanted a teddy bear and he even went as far as being specific from the eyes to the fur! I was happy that he paid attention to the details and with his great skills at shading, I have a fuzzy teddy bear with snowflakes on its paws with wings and holding a flower, its amazing and extremely detailed. I cannot wait to go back for another!
love this place!! came in this week for my third tattoo here and its already almost healed! peeled just like a sunburn no scabbing at all! love this place cant say enough good things about the shop the artists and the atmosphere will deff be back for more, thank you tattoo company for a great tattoo and great experience five star all the way!!!

I asked for The Gold Star banner star on my leg as a memorial piece for my late husband. Not only was it messed up, they won't redo it but still charged full price. I wish I could post the pictures on here. My husband can give his life for this country and the guy says he doesn't care. Don't go here!

Wow, Travis did my tattoo and it is amazing! The amount of detail is stunning. I have other tattoos all done by different artists and Travis is the best artist I have ever had by far. He has a very gentle hand and an awesome personality. I would never get a tattoo from anyone else at this point and I would definitely recommend to family.

I don t think I could love my tattoo more than I do, Mark did an amazing job and even recommended filling in the words a little different and I m so glad he did because I truly feel it makes the words pop more. Not to mention he had made an appointment for me on a day the shop was closed to accommodate my work schedule which speaks a lot about himself & his passion. I will definitely be back.
I just recently got a tattoo here from Close. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted it to look like but he drew up the idea he had and it was great! Exactly what I wanted. I know a lot of people who go to him on a regular basis and I would never go to anywhere else! A very nice group of people here at The Tattoo Company. Very clean and professional environment! I'm moving to Tallahassee soon but if I want a tattoo I will be driving down here for sure!

I got my first tattoo here by Matthew Birkla. Matt was flexible with my schedule, very informative, nice and very,very, detailed!!! I want a tatto have an American Eagle just like my dad when he got the same 35years ago. Matt was able to look at it from a blurry photo and in person once and get it spot on. Awesome awesome awesome, plus cudos to the cool front desk guy! I would highly recommended tattoo company.

Zach did a great job on a design I asked for hours before he did it. Knew exactly how I wanted it and even spiced it up with some shading and added great detail. Going back for all of my future tattoos. Great prices for what you get. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

My husband and I were searching for a top rated artist anywhere in Central Florida. After reading the reviews we decided to drive down and check them out. We walked in and Ron who was busy had us speak with Matthew Birkla about couple's sugar skull finger tats. He was honest and fully explained why we didn't want these even though it could cost him business. We aren't new to this so we already knew the cons. His upfront honesty was refreshing and reassuring.
We showed him our second choice and after some quick sketching the fun began. The results are awesome. Matthew took his quick glances of an image on my phone and turned it into a work of art; making the design his own. The lines are fantastic, as are the shading and highlights.
We are so glad we did our research and made the drive. Now we are trying to figure out what our next ink will be and on which body part. The one thing we don't need to worry about though is who is going to do them because we already know it is going to be Matthew. Next time we might even make an appointment.
Took my mom in to have Pete (which is awesome) do her first and last ever tattoo but he was busy. Mark was available so she said she was ok w/ him doing it instead.... WHAT A MISTAKE!! She showed him a pic of exactly what she wanted. It was a small simple tat of a heart into heartbeat that trailed into our 4 letter last name. Written in black w/ white outline. First he said he would not do the white. Then he said it needed to be much larger than I was hoping for. Ok....I guess. It took him a VERY long time to draw it all out and get ready to start. Mom finally gets in the chair and he put it not quite in the spot she told him she wanted. She nicely asked if it could be moved over to the left about a half inch..... he moved it down, not over. I could see that she wasn t really happy w/ the location still so I tried to show him where exactly to put the stencil and he just kept saying he thought where it was was a good spot. It was obvious he just didn t want to wash it off and move it over but this is a very big deal to my mom that has waited 64 years to get a tattoo and this will be on her body FOREVER. I ended up asking him why he was giving us such a hard time and he threw his hands in the air and told us he wasn t going to do it at all. We wasted hours in there of her last day of vacation for NOTHING! That is horrible customer service. Aren t they supposed to tattoo what you want, where you want as long as it s doable? This is NO reflection on the shop or the other artists as it s a very nice place w/ very nice people.... this rating is strictly about MARK and how unprofessional he was and how poorly we were treated!
Mark Toth is an amazing tattoo artist. Very realistic buffalo on my upper arm. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work.

The quality of the service is very professional & the under standing of what I needed in the tattoo I required. The Tattooist Ron drew an out line of the tattoo he thought I had asked for & explain how it would be coloured. Before proceeding he laid out the inks & needle in very clinical way.The Tattoo I have on my chest is fantastic & a true work of art. The after care explained worked without any problems. I'm very weary of Tattoo places and I'm obsessed with sterile conditions along with talent from the artists.
The Tattoo Company has amazing people working for them and my friend who I discovered works there Travis Hogue did the most incredible job on my memorial tattoo of my cat Chyna and her likeness to the image I gave him is spot on.
He out did my expectations and the facility is so clean, the staff is kind and they constantly make sure they're customers are ok and comfortable before during and after the tattoo.
I highly recommend my friend Travis and I recommend this Tattoo shop, they have many many years of combined knowledge among them young and old and they deserve all the credit for the art they provide.

I have several tattoos done by Close at The Tattoo Company. He s freaking awesome! He s great to work with, and I always leave with exactly what I had envisioned, or better. He has a knack for taking my idea or little drawing and turning it into a masterpiece on my arm. My collection started as a little branch of cherry blossoms and has grown to perch 4 different birds. I get compliments on the colors, line work and amazing details all the time. Wouldn t consider anyone else.
