Took my mom in to have Pete (which is awesome) do ...

Took my mom in to have Pete (which is awesome) do her first and last ever tattoo but he was busy. Mark was available so she said she was ok w/ him doing it instead.... WHAT A MISTAKE!! She showed him a pic of exactly what she wanted. It was a small simple tat of a heart into heartbeat that trailed into our 4 letter last name. Written in black w/ white outline. First he said he would not do the white. Then he said it needed to be much larger than I was hoping for. Ok....I guess. It took him a VERY long time to draw it all out and get ready to start. Mom finally gets in the chair and he put it not quite in the spot she told him she wanted. She nicely asked if it could be moved over to the left about a half inch..... he moved it down, not over. I could see that she wasn t really happy w/ the location still so I tried to show him where exactly to put the stencil and he just kept saying he thought where it was was a good spot. It was obvious he just didn t want to wash it off and move it over but this is a very big deal to my mom that has waited 64 years to get a tattoo and this will be on her body FOREVER. I ended up asking him why he was giving us such a hard time and he threw his hands in the air and told us he wasn t going to do it at all. We wasted hours in there of her last day of vacation for NOTHING! That is horrible customer service. Aren t they supposed to tattoo what you want, where you want as long as it s doable? This is NO reflection on the shop or the other artists as it s a very nice place w/ very nice people.... this rating is strictly about MARK and how unprofessional he was and how poorly we were treated!
