Great permanent collection about the British art from 1500 till today. The rooms are a little bit confusing to follow up but it's ok. Free access except the temporary exhibitions. Beautiful building.

Wow what a place to go and visit popular paintings by the masters. First hand sight of Van Gough and Seurat! Very memorable.

Cool museum and close to public transport. In principle it is free except for some specific and temporary exhibitions. I recommend taking a look on the web before the visit.

Amazing museum with great exhibitions. The cafe is also pretty good and makes decent coffee.
Was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable Tate Britain was. The main building was charming and cosy, not too overwhelming and good for a short visit. Downloaded the Tate app using the free wifi (fast connection!) and enjoyed the tour around the permanent collection. Also managed to check out the Henry Moore exhibition (learnt new things about him) and the Rachel Whiteread exhibition (not bad). Overall a good experience!
The new exhibition of the work by Edward Burne-Jones is breathtaking.

Certainly an excellent Turner collection, but not the top art gallery in London.
Followed the 1540-1890 British Art tour - the Museum/gallery is well laid out to allow for Covid-19 restrictions, with an excellent 1-way system in place. The art is worth the effort; despite description the expo shows off many international artists, so showing art that was in/of the UK in this timeframe...perhaps?

Cool, free, accessible modern art museum in the heart of London.
I recommend buying a Tate Annual membership, it works out far cheaper than buying individual tickets for Tate Britain and Tate Modern
Fantastic permanent collection but the temporary exhibitions seem to be always too busy.
The members only cafe upstairs is very generous with the balsamic vinegar. Recommend the crepe with sliced baby tomatoes.
The Burne-Jones exhibit is excellent but very large. Allow more time, and try and avoid lunchtime!
The tampon art was hiddious and i didnt feel at all empowered by the feminist exhibition
Worth the visit for the Turner collection. Amazing. The Constables are also beautiful. Well maintained museum, few people, free.
National gallery of British art. A wonderful journey through British history via art. Calm and thoughtful environment.

Wonderful Impressionists Exhibition - conveys a clear idea of how the significant political events in France in the latter half of the 19th century brought impressionist painters to London and how their individual relationships and paintings helped them establish themselves here
This is a very beautiful gallery. There are a lot of Turner works that the British love the most.

Nice museum, went for Van Gogh in Britain exhibition, can be very busy though.
I went specifically to see the Frank Bowling exhibition and I wasn't disappointed. The customer service experience at the Tate was also exceptional.

It's a tradicional museum, but there are some attractions like Turner's room and the unmissable exhibition of Van Gogh...The Restaurant is very nice and not so expensive...The employes are confident with theirs informations...
Love the Tate Britain. A couple of exhibitions have a charge to get in. There's always something interesting to see. Building is beautiful. Classic, important paintings from history. Always fabulous to see them in real life. Usually quieter than tate modern.

Some very good some very ungood. I'm sure there is something for everybody here. Beautiful building, some great art also somethings I could not ever call art, at best pretense. The Turners are very interesting.
Went for the Edward Burne Jones exhibition and have to say I was very impressed with the range of his work that was on show. I will definitely be going back to see this exhibition again before it finishes.

This is a wonderful Museum full of exceptional art from the British Isles. Especially their exhibition on Turner is absolutely a must-see. It has everything from classic to very modern art on exhibit at anytime.

Fabulous exhibition, unfortunately now finished, felt totally immersed in Vincent Van Gogh both the person and the artist, due to clever selection of quotes, sublime artwork and great insight into his sources of inspiration and the the times he lived in
