Just got off the phone with Tappers inquiring about the repair of my Michele watch and the young lady who fielded my call was very rude. I never slam the phone on people but today it was warranted. I will not buy another thing i from Tappers. I will drop my watch off for repair but then I'm done with Tappers.
Really helping people. Listening to my needs and doing everything to find a solution to meet my expectations and timeframe.
Great experience with Natile at the West Bloomfield store, I was looking for a specific watch and she was very helpful in getting it for me. She is very knowledgeable about Rolex, also she isn t pushy like some other people I ve dealt with at other AD s and I will definitely be coming back to tappers for years to come. You have ruined 101WRIF by spamming your pretentious commercial about your new, expensive 21000 sq' store. People dont really care about your life story, they want good service, good pricing for a quality product. We all know you make a ton of money, ripping people off enough to build that big giant store of yours, make a ton of money so you can pay for an advertisement every couple of minutes. Wont be shopping here just because the way you hold yourselves.

I had an excellent experience at Tappers! The staff there was wonderful and very personable! The lady that my girlfriend worked with was able to hold the earrings that she wanted for one week! Plus, I live 2 hours away from the store, and was unable to make it to the store location where she works in time before closing. She communicated with me through texts on her personal phone and was able to contact another store that was open later. In the end I was able to get the earrings from another location while I was in the area. My girlfriend is going to love these!!!!!

I walked in with an idea of what I wanted.Adela approached me and helped me pick out my dream ring for my 30th anniversary. I decided to use my original diamond (which was from Tappers 30 yrs ago) from my current ring and she helped me pick out a new setting. I told her I was going out of town and needed my new ring before sept 2.. I was nervous but she promised it would be ready..sure enough she texted me on sat aug 31 that my ring was ready..I zoomed to the store at 5pm ( store closed at 5:30 pm)and picked up my ring and life has been great .Adela was great salesperson and I will go back to her..
Worst of the worst when it comes to the care of my IWC 3714 watch. They wanted to charge me $700.00 for a complete service, they do not provide maintenance service or any other service IWC provides for much less money. They just want to sell their warranty at sucker prices, IWC does this all cheaper and their warranty is more complete. If you have an IWC watch, go direct--it is cheaper and safer than these hacks. I find it sad they are an IWC boutique - who is suppose to help the customer, instead they just waste your time and squeeze you for all the money they can get. IWC owners, do not let this discourage you, IWC is a great watch and IWC has your back. Again, go directly to IWC for purchases and service for the best customer care.

Tapper's is a wonderful store with fantastic customer service. Vicki is amazing!! Her knowledge of the store is impressive but her fun personality and ability to know just what you are looking for makes shopping with her special. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right and follows up to make sure there is nothing else that she can do. She has even helped me after the store had closed for the day! Vicki helped my now husband pick out my perfect engagement ring (I get strangers complementing me on it all the time), helped with our wedding bands and jewelry for the wedding, birthday gifts....you name it she has helped us. Because of Vicki and the rest of the Tapper's family we wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

After searching for a couple months with several Jewelers for the right Diamond and engagement setting we chose Tapper's West Bloomfield.
I can't say enough about their customer service! Lia followed up with text messages to assure us Tapper's was the best Jeweler for us and they own their own loose diamonds. They don't have to 'order' them in for the customer to see them. They have a lifetime trade in guarantee. If you change your mind on the diamond of choice you can trade it in for another. Their goal is to be your Jeweler for life. She selected our diamond of choice and nailed it.
A special 'Thank you' to Steve Tapper, who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my lifetime diamond and engagement setting. He is a 'no pressure' patient jeweler, always available to answer questions, educate, and won my confidence and trust. It's all about making sure the customer is happy and not just a sale. Steve worked with our budget, and went the extra mile for us.
My diamond is highest rated in cut and sparkle! It is truly 'alive' when I look at it everyday. It dances in the light like no other, for me it was all about the 'bling.' I did not find that at any other Jeweler in our search. I'm so happy we went to Tapper's!

I have to give a lot of credit to Mr Steven Tapper who went out of his way to reach out and invite me back into the store to try to resolve the issues I had. It's obvious that he keeps an eye on what people are saying and is very concerned about customer satisfaction and doing the right thing.
We met last week and he offered to take the watch back and do the full service on the timepiece in order to get it running in good order again. I really appreciate the outreach and Tappers working to get it right.

I had a really good experience... until the watch stopped keeping time a few weeks later. Rather than remedy their own mistakes they asked me to spend even more money.
Here's what happened:
I brought in an Hermes watch that was keeping perfect time to simply get polished (which should be around $100) but was told that the case would need to be opened, and that if they're doing that then the battery should be replaced and the entire thing needed to be specially sealed. I took the advice and had all this work done for around $200. I picked up the watch and my wife wore it normally for a few weeks. Randomly it stops keeping time and is running 15 minutes slow. I brought the watch back in and explained what was happening. I was told the watchmaker would need to inspect it. I got a call a couple days later that they could do a full overhaul on the watch and replace a bunch of parts for about $500 - less the $200 that I had already spent.
The original work was more expensive than I wanted it to be and now it seems to me that I shouldn't be asked to spend another $300 to have them repair a watch that was working well prior to their most recent service a few weeks ago.
The people at Tappers have been wonderful. They go above and beyond what is necessary to make sure things are wonderful.
I want to thank Zaid for his excellent customer service. I wanted to surprise my husband for our anniversary with a Rolex watch. He located the watch at another location and had it shipped to the store overnight. Once the watch arrived he staged a surprise pick up for my husband to get his watch. Zaid your acting skills were spot on. My husband was blown away. Thank you Zaid for assisting my family with this special moment. I highly recommend Zaid and Tappers in West Bloomfield they truly made our anniversary one to remember.
This store has a fantastic selection and is well laid out. The sales associates were extremely professional, they don't try to oversell - and provide knowledgeable advice. The great thing about it is that you can truly tell this is a family owned business. Shopping at chains really has no comparison to the experience I had here. I was glued to their Shinola display. What really differentiated them is some of their custom jewelry lines. I feel good about going here because it is a Michigan business as well.
After loosing my engagement ring main stone everyone at Tapper's was kind and helpful and made the loss better. They interfaced promptly with my insurance company which was very helpful. My stone was small compaired to others they work with, but they treated me like a VIP the entire time. Pam assisted me kindly and was patient as I decided how best to proceed with no pressure. My "new" ring is better than ever! I strongly recommend Tapper's and specifically Pam and Steven as being particularly helpful to me.
I bought an expensive new automatic watch...broke down in 4 months....very disappointed....they sent it to watchmaker and its been 2 1/2 months....its not back

I went to Tappers looking for a necklace. At first I was skeptical about going there because it seemed out of my price range and wouldn't have the type of necklace I was looking for. I was surprised to found out the variety of jewelry they have. My sales associate "Faye" was very helpful in giving me a range of jewelry to look at that were different prices. Compared to jewelry places I had visited, Tappers had the best quality of jewelry. Faye was very helpful by making me feel comfortable and not rushed. I did buy a gold link chain from there and have never been complimented as much on any other jewelry I have. I definetly am considering making this my primary jewelry store. If you go I recommend you ask for Faye. I'm sure all their associates are great, but I feel I would have left the store if it wasn't for her.
I called there place and asked if they would appraise my jewelry price they said they would u just need to bring it so I left work and drove along way and when I finally arrived they told me they won't do it and then they said ok we'll do it and said I would have to pay up front I agreed they took my money and then came back telling me they won't do it anymore , never going there !
We have shopped at Tapper's for over 25 years. The sales and repair staff are very professional and so pleasant to work with. The store is a treat to visit. This past winter, all of my jewelry was stolen, much of which was bought at Tapper s. They were extremely helpful in providing the list of purchases with pictures and prices. I couldn t have done the police or insurance report without them. Of course, we went back there to replace several of our favorite items.
Warm, knowledgeable and top of the line service. Tapper's treats you like family. I highly recommend.

She remembered a conversation we had months prior and reached out to me the very moment she got that model in, which showed initiative & a genuine desire to help me get the model I ve been after. About a year and a half ago Sarah was extremely helpful when I was looking for a birthday gift for my daughter. Since then I've worked with Sarah several more times. My girls (19 and 16) also now love Tappers and love working with her! She gets their style, and is respectful of their teenage budget. They have become her loyal customers!

Was mislead about a warranty on a pair of Mikimoto pearl earrings by the saleswoman that sold them to me. I was told that they had a lifetime warranty and when I recently took them in because the post was coming out of the pearl I was charged $$$$ to get them fixed. I would suggest buying them directly from Mikimoto and they will repair for free. Very disappointed in Tappers and the customer service. I would ask for any warranty they claim they offer in writing!

We visited Tapper s last week to buy my first Rolex watch. Adela was very helpful and she is so experienced. She made sure I will buy my dream watch! if you would like to have the best experience visit their store and Adela will help you!
Avoid tappers. The service person we delt with was not competent. 20 minutes wasted while she tried to find us in their system. We've bought 2 watches there previously. The manager who followed up on our poor service was arrogant, and lacked any service skills. There was never an apology for our experience. We will not do business with tappers ever again.

So far so good :). Worked with Pearl, who was very patient, answered all my questions, and taught me a lot about the 4Cs. I never felt like I was pressured one direction or another on price range, size, etc which made the experience less intimidating. Diamonds are all certified and the selection is vast. Would recommend. Next step for me is to finalize the diamond for the band I've chosen, and work with Tappers to buy my engagement ring (that's why it's so far so good) :)

It was a warm summer evening. Zoe s had long since closed for the day. The kosher butcher also was closed for the night. TCBY was still open but they were out of sprinkles so there were angry customers.
No matter, we ll just get some stir fry, I muttered under my breath. After purchasing some Kung Pao chicken at Golden Phoenix, I had the urge to grab a quick beer at Outback. Long lines nearly persuaded me to avoid entering, but I could tell that there was ample space in the booths and for some reason nobody had capitalized on this.
The next morning I woke up perplexed. Why had I gone to this shopping center? What was I looking for? Did I find it? It seemed as if I had awoken from a deep and dreamless slumber.
