School is great because all the teachers and students are really nice
Great school with amazing teachers and staff. The facilities here are fantastic and for a public high school, it is full of great learning. They have 6 different areas there called Daintree (where English, SOSE and languages take place) this is located above the second area, the performing arts section of the school. This consists of the music, dance and drama electives. The third area, right next to the performing arts is the science area, this is where the 4 science classes are held. The fourth area in this school is the mathematics area, this holds a small computer lab and around 7 classrooms. Next is the textiles, art and food technology area. I am not too sure what this area is called but they have great services and classes. Finally, there is the physical education area (p.e) where the fitness elective and the pe classes are held. With all of these amazing recourses and staff bundled in with a very supportive principal, this is one of the best schools in Canberra. Also, I am very sorry if I have missed anything. Anything else in this school will be edited in on a later date.
This school is lit as lad we are all cool kids and smart tots
I enjoy existing at the learning facility. 'Tis delightful
P.S. Cult of Roth will take over the world nothing can stop us.
I have been researching, along with a close friend, my family ancestry, and happened upon an article in this months Veteran Affairs paper 'regarding-- top honours in this years Anzac Day Schools Awards, goes to Melba Copland Secondary School in the ACT. As a veteran of WW2 and a Copland, part of the Copland's of Wagga Wagga, am interested to hear of what others bearing that name are doing, and what part they are playing in todays society. ., My compliments Robert. Lancelot David Copland.
I m a student that attends Melba Copland Secondary School and it is a marvellous school that utilises in pushing boundless and building bonds between students to create a great environment. This school s staff, teachers and assistants really do help students engage in learning.
Haven't had children who attended this school as yet but they were involved with local Primary Schools as part of the 2017 Arts Extravaganza. They worked with young children at these Primary Schools to teach and perform several dances at a special evening here at the college. It was well run and entertaining and my children who were a part of it were so excited to perform for a large audience. Thank you Melba for your hard work and dedication to this wonderful community project
Had an excellent high school experience here! Some of the facilities were a bit dated but improvements were on the way when I finished. Great mix of people from all different backgrounds made this a great place to learn.
this school treats it's students like chess pieces, they are only there to pay them. The staff care about nothing but getting their minimum wage and moving on with their lives because in the end we mean nothing to them. they don't pay attention to mentally ill students or care about bullying as a matter of fact it's almost completely tolerated. I didn't enjoy my stay. 4 years too long. fix yourselves.
this school is ok i guess not lots of enjoying things some of the teachers are cool
