Amazing Resort with amazing staff who does not hesitate going an extra mile. Made our stay extremely memorable.

In 2009 I had the occasion to stay there for a few days. Great for kids (and for adults ;-)).

Our honeymoon place. Top of the top. Very nice staff, very good food. Everything was absolutely without problem. We enjoyed 12 days in this place. Wonderful!!!

We visited this place back in 2015 for our Honeymoon..The place is lovely & very lively to stay & have fun! The staff is so amazing very kind, polite & always have a good smile on their face..Thanks Tamassa for giving us memories, imprinted on our heart for life!

Generally good.. Spa experience ..outstanding .. Prices are way too high .. No business sense .. June is winter more like monsoon. Food very bland .. Entertainment c+ .. Drink order taking ..not prompt .. Tamasaa wine chargible even though it says all inclusive .. I won't be there in hurry .. Compare to Turkey or Dubai holiday where we did x3 holiday ..perfect .. Hope this helps .xx

That's great. The vegetation is beautiful, the mini club is too top (thanks to Francine, Valerie, Viswanee, Angelee and Melanie), I love you too much, you always smile. The welcome is superb, the beautiful rooms. Nothing to say about this hotel, it deserves a 5 star instead of a 4 star. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Perfect for a family trip, we have always gone to a 5-star hotel in Mauritius, and we had some reservations ... but we wanted to leave with all our children, with a controlled budget but it was good!
Result: perfect rooms, buffet, beach restaurant, food truck, ice cream, cocktails, shows, the whole service was very good .., friendly staff, it really felt like being with family, to be unique, it deserves the reception of a 5 star.
Quiet hotel despite families, never saturated pools, children's clubs, etc ...
Our children are delighted, we too, they retain the smile of the Mauritians, their kindness, they felt in total security

Great place for all inclusive holidays. Awesome activities for both children and adults. Food is delightful and in abundance. First hotel I've seen where all inclusive starts when you enter the compound and ends when you leave regardless of check in & check out time.

We had a nice stay . The staff was fantastic. The welcoming team, the restauration team , the gardeners, the spa team and all others were all very cooperative . Will go again.

Nice swimming pools, good food, nice staff who give less attention to colored people, otherwise if you're Mauritian you need to be insisting. My son was refused a milk shake at 17h47 when our day package ended at 17h30 because he's brown I guess. That's not a way for Mauritian people to treat each other.

Lovely resort with a very relaxed atmosphere. The burger truck at lunch is not to be missed!

Staff very attentive, both at the level of the rooms, at the level of the restaurants where everyone makes sure that you are at the top, well served, and that you do not miss anything. Tamassa is a magical place, relaxing, everything is just perfect, we do not want to leave !!!

The rooms are spacious and you have enough space to stow all your belongings. The bathroom also offers plenty of space and a separate toilet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is varied and delicious. Something negative that is a bit older. But that's not worth a star.

Invited for a dinner, frankly it was great! The staff is top top, the buffet great !! and the beautiful setting

We stayed 11 nights at Tamasse with a all inclusive package. It was totally worth it. The resort is beautiful! The beach, the surronding, the pools, the garden... Everything is be cared in detail. The choice of food has a daily variety and was not boring at all after 12 days. Also the SPA area is very nice, even though the massage therapy is pricy. The gym is not the newest but totally ok, there are better things to do outside than being in the gym. Special thanks to all the staff members which are truly friendly and help you with everything.

It was an excellent experience and holiday at Tamassa.. would love to visit again. definite suggestion to new comers. Good service and amenities. Good service and pool stuff . Beach activities and steam bath facilities are good. Must try boat bottom experience

If you in tamasa resort look out for this chef she is one of the best

Non professional staff. I was still having my dinner and without even asking me, hotel staff took my plate away. Which was shocking and beyond everyones expectation. Asked for water at reception and had to wait for long as if staff don't want to serve. Hotel needs to educate their staff. Very poor service.

A beautiful establishment, well equipped, and whose staff take great care of customers, which justifies the 4 *

4 magnificent swimming pools; the main one deserves a night light; where young and old alike find their happiness for swimming or playing.
A beautiful beach with some coral potatoes a little further where you can snorkel with pleasure while observing beautiful tropical fish.
Beach machines, lasers, pedal boats, windsurfing boards or water skiing are available to customers, allowing them to practice sport for those who do not practice the gym.
A beautiful spa, very calm and relaxing, completes the leisure facilities.

As for accommodation, the pavilions are well located and quiet (except for noisy neighbors!), Far enough away for most of the evening entertainment, but some, not tested, are closer to the center of life.

In terms of catering, we were sometimes disappointed by some buffets that were a bit tight compared to other hotel structures, however nothing prohibitive and the dishes with a strong Indian connotation were well prepared and quite varied.
Finally the staff are adorable, always smiling and ready to assist you and help you. This is the way Mauritians behave (at least in the south of the island and outside hyper touristy places), but it is a source of great satisfaction, and enriches the pleasure of the stay. Thank you all here!

Absolutely nice place. Only problem has been really hot plates at ala carte so not too much to worry about when u come here.

To the end of the holiday I must say that hotel has not tackled sunbed reservation issue. You see people waking up at 06 and bring in towels to sunbeds and sometimes not even showing up whole day. Most resorts are doing stuff to prevent this. There is quite a lot of sunbeds available so this is not major issue, rather ridiculous behavior from some of the guests.

Otherwise holiday has been nice and place is great.

It was a great time. We have enjoyed so much. Love to experience hotel like that. Will go again this summer with my entire family
Worth for it.

Great food, super friendly staff, amazing beach. Room clean and all very thoughtful that the guest is satisfied. Our fridge was broken instantly. Wardrobe for 2 girls a bit small we were immediately more hanger available. Have used the full service for the laundry is great comes back on the same day. I am fully satisfied.

Nice but the waiters get confused if you tell them too many things all together and don't know the Italian language

As a simply review: I've already booked to return! Fantastic resort with varied good quality food options, attentive staff and an excellent array of free activities including organised bike rides, snorkeling trips etc. Full suite of watersports available and a large lagoon type area directly in front of the hotel, perfect for snorkeling.

The resort is really beautiful and very well maintained the service is of high quality especially by the beach I would like to particularly thank MR Raffick who is really fantastic both for his professionalism and his kindness
Thanks to him I would keep fond memories of my trip to Mauritius
Otherwise the food is good maybe we should review the offer for a snack which lacks choice
The cocktails are delicious
My only downside goes to the staff who take care of the aquatic entertainment who are really rude and really not smiling
Overall I recommend this hotel without hesitation

Was a nice hotel, will be renovated in May! High time! Is urgently needed. PoolBar staff carelessly lazy, but the beach the more eager and totally lovely! Main restaurant buffet mediocre! Reception very nice, maid and service top! Beach nice, water ok!

We had a great time at the Tamassa when we visited in November.

There was a decent sports/entertainment programme and the team who ran it (led by Bruno ) were really friendly. We particularly enjoyed using the bikes, first on a local trip and then the longer trip to La Morne (which was a must do). Both trips were excellently led by Jonathan who is also a great singer/guitarist who performs most days by the main pool at lunch time.

The food was pretty good. The converted burger van looks cool and served good quality burgers. A decent range of drinks were on offer with the all inclusive package, although the wine and cocktails weren't great. The dining staff were a bit varied, a youngish lad called Sharan was easily the best.

The rooms and general buildings were all a bit dated and were ready for a complete overhaul, which we heard is planned for next year.

La playa restaurant staff were awesome. I don't remember the names but thank you for the service.

We had a great, memorable time with the family to the point of not wanting to leave A big thank you to the entire animation team, Sandrina, Hemant, Aurore, Bruno as well as David de la Playa, the main team restaurant, reception and their colleagues, finally all the team you are wonderful and you have amply deserved the Lifestyle Award and other prizes you have had .. First time I went to a hotel for a day package, normally i stay over, but not at this hotel. I noticed a huge change in how the staff welcome u. Not a warm welcome, very cold staff, i didnt like any of their drinks, not even the welcome cocktail, way to watery. Tea time disappointed me a lot. Lunch was ok. I had fun in the swimming pool but wont go again.

Nice hotel, well located, offering nice water activities. The rooms are all facing the sea and the space is more than adequate. The restaurants are well made and offer the possibility to vary the menus. Very good family experience.

Who would believe that there is discrimination between men and women in this type of hotel. My sandals were not dressed enough for their buffet, but for women no problem, they can come in thongs.

What about denying me access when I am with a 2.5 year old child? Ineligible

There is work to be done to be up to the task.

One thing is for sure, choose a better accommodation for your next vacation.

Place is nice but too quiet for youngters. Lack of day activities to make the client busy.at night, its a bit soft and needs more entertainment for clients.
