Tamassa Review

Second visit, a few hiccups due to overgrounding / understaffing over Hindu New year, staff always go the extra mile across the board. Great beach for snorkeling.

Amazing hotel, modern with and well laid out, the facilities are plentiful & excellent.
There is a very good variety of foodfchoice,it is delicious & professionally served to a high standard.
The room directory is very detailed & really useful.
Really enjoyed my stay here, the sea is clear with amazing fish easily seen.

We stayed there for 6 nights. It was a wonderful experience. The place is very beautiful and well maintained. The staff is polite and helping. Food was delicious. We had a good range of options to suit our Indian taste. Some water activities are arranged by them. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had an amazing time there. The spa facilities was just great. The personel is really nice and helpful. My family and I just loved it.

Nice and spacious hotel. Very clean and good maintenance. However some of the staff need to be more welcoming. Their attitude towards mauritian customers especially should be reviewed. Also the lunch buffet is very limited.

Good food. Animation is there even if some animators need some more training. Staff very helpful. Recommended for those who like fun crowded and animated place.

Our holiday in Mauritius was such a wonderful experience and a big part of it was all thanks to Tamassa Resort. Everyone that works there are like a family with their smiles and hard work. You are really looked after, I would say my comfort levels was an easy 10/10, whether it's in your room, by the pool or the sea. I miss it already, but I will definitely be going back and bringing people with me.
I also want to thank Mahesh PRABHU and his amazing team for all the delicious food. As a vegan you have to be cautious and sometimes stick to the basics, but at Tamassa Resort I was spoilt for choice, experiencing new cultures of food. A big THANK YOU!

Simply the best. Awesome animation team, full of events. Big thanks to Hemant, Jonathan, Bruno, Aurore from animation team. Kids club was also perfect, thumbs up to Vishwanee and team. Food was good and overall experience was awesome.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well cut. The sockets can also be used without adapter. There is a rain shower, shower, bath and a separate toilet. The rooms are made twice a day. You are asked almost daily if you need something. I have experienced so in no other hotel. The requested is implemented by the staff immediately. The food is excellent and plentiful, in the evening there are thematically changing buffets. The sports courses are good (thanks to Sandrine!), The biketrip was also very nice. In the spa you make beautiful henna tattoos (thanks again, Amira!) And you can use daily sauna and steam room. Unfortunately, many guests did not realize that you should use the shower between the sauna and the pool, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Overall a very good all inclusive hotel. Gladly again!

Amazing experience as usual and the staff are very very helpful and courteous. They went out of their way to make us feel more than at home.

Fantastic place. For lovers of snorkelling reef 5m from the beach! Nice and friendly service. Good food, everyone will find something for themselves. Diving, water skiing on the spot. I highly recommend !! and I have seen a bit.

Tamassa is a big hotel with several swimming pools, restaurants and a night club. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many activities and you will not get bored.

However, the food quality did not reflect what I expected from such a resort except for the burger van. You will still find the odd foreigners wandering around with a colonial attitude and looking at the locals in a condescending way
