Wrapped up a week at one of Tamarack's chalets. Clean cabin, great location minutes away from Lake Cascade's many beaches and boat ramps.

We got married at Tamarack in July of 2019. As avid cyclists, the venue was great! We spent several days before and after our ceremony riding the trails with our friends and family. For our non-cycling friends, the resort had a ton of day activites and the area has a lot to offer as far as recreational activities. We absolutely loved it here and can't wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Tamarack!

Snow isnt always the grratest but this mountain has my favorite runs.

Great food and the bike park trails are fantastic. I rode the chair up and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and trails.

I visited tamarack resort for the summer mountain biking. This is by far the best lift assisted mountain biking near Boise. They have several runs and more in development! 1700' of descent each run makes for a full day!

Awesome Mountain. Great skiing for my family. It was extremely mellow when we went this year over spring break... almost felt like we had this huge mountain to ourselves. Thank you for offering Bogus season pass holders a free pass... we will defiantly be back. I'm so hopeful the new ownership finishes some undone project. Beautiful area, great service and fun skiing.

There's construction everywhere. It's kind of confusing to find your way around the roads. The cabin I stayed in was really nice, and it had a hot tub.

The idea of this place is nice, but the execution is horrible. The houses are nice and the setting is beautiful, but this is NO 5-Star resort. We came for a family reunion in the summer time. All the emails we got indicated there were plenty of activities.

Due to, what I'm sure amounts to shady business dealings, everything is in litigation and closed.

There is no pool.
The hot tub at the resort is closed.
The golf corse is dead and unstaffed.
There is no restaurant.
There is no bar.
There is very little staff, who all disappear after 6:00pm.
There are half completed and abandoned construction projects everywhere.

We showed up as scheduled and nothing was prepared. The dust sheets were on everything. The beds were torn apart and there were no linens. There were no towels. When I attempted to call house keeping or the front desk, I found that the phone was not connected and did not even have a power cord. I used my cell phone and was eventually connected to the security company, who new nothing and had no way of contacting anyone could help.

It was crazy. It was as if we were at a completely abandoned resort, but still had to pay well to stay there.

I've been here many times in the winter as well as the summer. Prices are excellent if you compare to other resorts. Lodging is amazing with all the cabins and houses available to rent, and again, very inexpensive if you compare to similar places. Season passes for snowboarding are definitely reasonable. Snow is usually great, and their mtb trails are super fun. My fiance and I are actually planning to have our wedding at their venue next year.

The terrain for riding is best in lower Idaho in my snowboarder opinion, more vertical, consistently steep, awesome snow quality, with short lift rides makes this my favorite mountain still. However, prices are the same as when there was twice as much mountain to ride, with the missing lift, still unfinished city, and "temporary" yurt set up, this place feels like its an abandoned project. The grocery store is hardly ever open, the retail shop is expensive and un manned most of the time. This place COULD be 5 stars

Nice place. Been here for the Huckleberry Jam Festival

One of the most beautiful Hotels in the state of Idaho located near Cascade lake and the small town of Donlley. The Ski Resort has undergone bankruptcy but the hotel is still in operation. $. If you pass this stay up for one downtown, you are really missing an experience.

Took the family up for the weekend. Amazing runs and fantastic snow!

No lines- ever. You can find powder stashes 3 days after a storm. The base is perfect for beginners.

The lodging was excellent and so was the skiing. The dining was a little disappointing because we didn't realize the only nice, sit-down restaurant on the grounds is only open on Friday and Saturdays. But that meant that we got to explore Donnelly and McCall where we found very nice local restaurants in the quaint small towns. We happened to visit during the area's epic snow storms which covered everything in snow that was several FEET thick. One night the roads were nearly impassible and we barely made it back to the resort. So much snow is beautiful but also inconvenient. But the resort did a good job of keeping places as accessible as possible.

Awesome mountain bike trail selection, conditions of those trails and the employees who work there!

I love this place. I call this place home. I've been up here at least 10 in the last two months. Such a beautiful place. If I could move there I would.

Despite that fact that it's STILL under construction, what's there is gorgeous. We attended a wedding here and it was a beautiful place for such an event.

Really horrible to advertise a great place...to them arrive and find it 90% shut down!! Beautiful scenery, would arrive to camp, but that is it.

Wonderful place for a fun weekend stay. Highly recommended.

Won't allow RVs in the parking lot over night. Closed down 2 weeks earlier than Bogus or Brundage even though they still had 100 inches at the summit. Drive 11 miles further and go to a real ski hill not some failed real estate venture!

Winter is obviously the best. But summer up there is also really fun the lake is amazing and the pool at osprey meadows is extremely nice in the heat. But skiing is amazing furring the winter.

Great place. Went in the off season and still so much to do and enjoy! A+ guys.

I want to give 5 stars for being such a fun place to ride but they lose 2 for 3 reasons.
1 they closed for an archery event
2 they closed way too early in the season
3 They closed the only restaurant. So no food or drink.
Well there's another thing. Second to last weekend things started becoming a little insafe with a total lack of trail maintenance.

Beautiful resort ski area. So much fun on the mountain. Good lounge area.

Tamarack is a great mountain! It has various terrain options, and great powder stashes! I've had an awesome time every trip to Tam! There is a high ratio of snowboarders at this resort and a much younger crowd overall, including lots of families

Great place to ski and board, great snow and long runs. Even better when you coming down the mountain you have amazing views of the lake & valley below.

Family has a place near Tamarack. Always a good place to wander. Snowshoed around the old golf course this time.

good terrain and vertical. caught some good powder. only a couple of lifts. but they are fast. uncrowded

Tamarack Zip Line was a blast! One of the best I have been on!

Summer time here is beautiful. The staff are helpful and the rooms are great. If you mountain bike, the trails are smooth and flowy.

It's a resort. It does resort things. Google is forcing me to do this.

So lovely. Great place for a solo tirp or family. So much to do all year round!

Really nice. Only downside is they don't provide breakfast in the mornings at all you have to drive into town.

Great place to and snowboard. I recommend going all the way to the top!

My wife and I stayed for the day to enjoy some spring snow. We went during a spring break weekend and it was far from crowded. We still had plenty of room on the slopes.
The food was decent, albeit you paid resort prices.
We only wished they had another lift as the lift lines would sometimes build up a bit. We still never waited longer than a minute to ride.
Overall, great snow, great views, and a great time to be had!

My girlfriend and I went snowshoeing for a few hours at Tamarack. The trails were well groomed, but we quickly went off the trails into the beautiful, untouched forest. It was a blast. The views were incredible and we felt we could've been out there all day without backtracking.

The resort grounds are nice. It's nice and peaceful. The staff is friendly. The cottages are well maintained and they pay attention to all the details.

Some of the best skiing in Idaho! Great snow, great hike to terrain and fast lift lines. Tamarack holds some of the best 360 degree views in Idaho. Views of Cascade Lake nestled in Long Valley surrounded by endless mountain wilderness in every direction create a fantastic atmosphere for enjoying the outdoors.

This place is seriously a hidden treasure. It's turned into a small village town that leaves you wanting to come back. If the views aren't enough to keep you around, the many outdoor activities surely will.

Skied Tamarack for the first time after living here in McCall for 7 years. We loved it. There are a great variety of skiing trails and all high speed quads to get us skiing more. Great value and family friendly. I'm so excited to see it have a new owner and to get new chairlift and village this Summer.

We started with the zip line tour. Our tour guides were amazing. Our zipline tour consisted on nine zips and two suspension bridges along with some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. The ziplines are fast, most are quite long and the tree house is very thrilling. This is our third zipline tour (Mexico and Hawaii) and by far the best. Five stars for this great tour.

Next, we went white water river rafting. Our guide, Parker, was great. Our raft ride ended up being a little colder and rainier than what the weather report had said it would be. Parker provided everybody with water proof jackets and pants which kept us as dry and comfortable as could be expected under the circumstances. The rafting trip was five stars great. Amazingly beautiful scenery. Lots of bald eagles and other wildlife. The white water rapids were thrilling to say the least.

Finally, tonight we ate dinner at 7 Devils. The appetizer was flat bread topped with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, baked to perfection, and it was delicious. The ribs my wife and I had were the best I have eaten. Very tender and a little on the spicy side. And more meat than most people can eat in one setting. Dinner was great.

Come and enjoy this amazingly beautiful area and the great adventures Tamarack has to offer.

Great place to escape and enjoy the natural surroundings of Western Idaho.

Great for DH/park bike riding in the summer! Have been here several times now the past 2 years after moving to Idaho. Getting a summer pass for next year. Only 4 stars...as it gets REALLY dusty at times. Could use a sprinkler system to help on those dry summer days so the berms don't get soft.

So much to do on the resort, you don't even need to leave.

Great day of skiing! Lines were short and snow was pretty soft.

Lots to do. Great food, & diverse skiing with both Coss country & Alpine skiing trails

Snow was great and still falling. Runs were choice and not crowded at all.

Incredibly friendly staff and we'll maintained intermediate and expert trails. They are lacking on post bunny hill beginner trails. The ones they do have (buttercup and waltz) are not very consistent and narrow. Their blues, double blues, and blacks are great with endless chances to do tree skiing.

Came for mountain biking. Place is gorgeous and trails are awesome

Tamarack used to be an awesome golf course. It is so gorgeous here. We heard that it was bought and possibly the golf course will be brought back to life!!!

Half finished resort that is currently in a state of decay. It is over priced to stay there and just not worth it unless you have a reason to stay there. Lots of abandoned construction sites that where supposed to be part of the resort.

Went up for the day with my friend ziplining had a wonderful time. Instructors were awesome. The view was stunning with the trees changing colors. The staff was really good about answering questions and making everything go smooth.

Always beautiful place to go to tamarack! We road our bikes on the trails. Absolutely beautiful

Went for the Zipline it was amazing! Great lines with very fun guides. They also have bikes for rent and rafting available.

Property is showing its lack of maintenance and professional operations

Nice place. I was there for mountain biking. Had a great time. Would be 5 stars if they were open all week for mountain biking.
