Our last meal was great. Beer is exceptional. Highly recommended.

They have a great selection of beers as well as food. I had the tall grass burger and the poutine. I also had the grand cru beer. The poutine isn't a traditional poutine but something they modified to fit their style and it worked very well. The fries were well seasoned and crispy and the cheese and gravy ratio was great as well. You got all the flavor you could hope for without the fries being made soggy from it. The tall grass burger which I had rare was delicious, it was a good size and the blue cheese was a perfect addition. I will absolutely be going back.

This place has to be hands down the best micro brewery in the Manhattan area! Very unique and delicious beers that one of a kind. They don t last long! Also, the food is amazing! All. Of. It! So good! Great place to watch sports games as well. Lots of seating however it does it pretty packed.

The scenery was nice, the servers were nice as well. I had the tallgrass burger and it was very good and I'm not too fond of bleu cheese.

Legit the best food I've had in Kansas. The beers nothing to sleep on either.

As a visitor to the area this is a great local place to get great food and a really good selection of beers. Family members in the area often take us there when we are visiting and we really enjoy it every time!

Fun atmosphere, our server was really nice, but the appetizer came out after our meal, we didn't mind too much, everything was hot and the Cuban sandwich was delicious.

Come here every trip to Manhattan. Never disappointed!

Luckily stumbled into this place for a beer and discovered they had a mushroom bahn mi on the menu that was amazing and very spicy. Highly recommend.

I love trying new beer. Maybe need an additional bartender on game weekends?

The food is great! They have the best mac&cheese around. Yes, they blow Cheese Cake Factory out of the water. I had their American Bitter with their bangers-n-mash and it was wonderful. We will be coming back here for sure.

Update: Gave it another try. Beer is still overpriced but I again had a wonderful salad. The apple walnut salad may be the best dinner salad I ve ever had. Combined with excellent service and it was an enjoyable.

Had a quiet evening studying while eating dinner. The staff was friendly and provided good service, knowing when to check in and when to leave alone. I had a dinner salad, and have to say it was one of the best I ve had anywhere. Fresh, full and an excellent blend of fruits and vegetables. But, the place is a tap house and the beer should ve been a better experience. I got a sampler flight (all good beers), which turned out to essentially be four slightly oversized shot glasses. For $10. Really? Combined, they wouldn t have filled a pint glass. Summary: excellent food, stingy servings of overpriced beer.

The muscles were fantastic, as was their beer sampler. The meatloaf was spectacular. The dessert cheesecake was delicious. The waitress even made sure our waters were full 30 minutes after we paid. A very fun evening that was highlighted by terrific food.

Game night and they ran out of items on the menu....imagine that. Lol

Always a great stop in MHK! The patio is a wonderful addition and the Red Ryder delicious! Wonderful service and delicious appetizers.

Ordered the Tallhouse Burger (Medium) and the house root beer which were both outstanding. Fries were crisp which I liked, maybe a little over seasoned for my taste.

The service and atmosphere were both outstanding. Will gladly come back for more food, will have to try some of their on tap beers.

Nice atmosphere, we sat on the roof. I didn't try the food as I heard it was only so-so. If they work on that to bring it up, they'd have an awesome place.

Nice interior. Didn't try the food because we had just eaten, but it smelled amazing! Shared a flight of 6 beers, all of them I would drink a full glass of. The server was smiling and polite, very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable brewery type taproom. Also have guest taps. Wife had Chicken Pot Pie. I had Tall grass Burger. Both very good. Burger had excellent grilled flavor. Had one local beer and one guest. Both IPAs and tasted clean. Excellent service. All in all a nice evening.

In town for a college visit and decided to head to Tallgrass Tap for dinner. Loved the atmosphere and especially the rooftop! Great beer selection, great food, and great service!

Great as usual. Its always worth getting one of their flights in which you can try 4-6 of the beers on tap, whether their own or a guest beer. We tried the chorizo crab dip this time around and it was absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend. Staff was friendly and accommodated our requests. Overall, decent place to visit with good beer and good food.

Went for an office party, which had been planned in advance. When we arrived, we were told to sit upstairs. Only one server was assigned to a group of 30 people. It took 30 minutes to get our orders in, and nearly double that to get our food. By the time everyone was done, we had to wait another 15 minutes to get our checks and leave.
If not for a great beer (The Grizz), this would be a one star rating.

Disappointed, not in the beers but no way to get beer to go, they need to get a Crowler machine..

The best restaurant in Manhattan. Incredible beer and food!

Beer is becoming subpar, but the food has always been awful. A few of the best beers they cut from production, with the new additions not ever worth more than a sample. They try to be too fancy with the food for a brewpud, and the service is usually awful. The owner however is fantastic.

I really loved the atmosphere! The service was great and very friendly and the food was fantastic. I definitely suggest it for other customers.

Its a pretty nice place. A little pricey on their menu but it makes sense. The atmosphere is comfy, bartenders and waitresses are attentive. It's definitely a place you should visit at least once if you're in Manhattan, KS.

Really enjoyed the beer. Go on a calm day with low wind and you'll love the rooftop seating.

Great beer and an awesome space with a great rooftop bar and patio. The only thing lacking occasionally is the quality of service.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and when we had an issue with something that we ordered, it was handled quickly and politely. Can't wait to visit again when I return to the area.

Amazing customer service! We had a large party and they accommodated us. Extra napkins, water pitcher. Definitely went above and beyond for us.

This is a first class American brew pub!!! That has very fair prices for great food and top quality local craft beer! Which is absolutely amazing!! The head chief makes some excellent dishes that go great with the wide variety of well executed styles of beer on tap! Been a homebrewer for years and always seek out brew pubs when I travel, got to talk to the brew master for 2 hours and they are doing great things and have the equipment to produce many styles of beer without worry of cross contaminating yeast strains!!! That in it self is impressive because it allows for a wide range of styles to match the season, food and well the most important part of a decision for picking the perfect beer, how you feel that day. Highly recommend this place, went back several times!

The server Emmaline was absolutely spectacular. Food and beer were woderfull.

Just sat up on their rooftop with my dad for about 30 minutes with a water and a menu and no service. Tables around me were being seated. and getting appetizers and orders taken within minutes. No plans on going back. Also, the Rooftop food menu has very little on it, and they won't let you order from the downstairs menu, even if you walk it upstairs yourself.

I was pleasently surprised by how good this place was. Pretty cool architecture, delicious and interesting menu, ice cold and a great volume of beer, and friendly/ helpful staff. I think I'll come back here and if therws a chance to bring my crew this seems like a good place to do it outside of aggieville and that craziness. Cool shirts also.

When the bacon on the wedge salad is a priced feature it makes you wonder. The waiter was A+ and the signature drinks were Avg.

We stopped in to have a drink while shopping at the small boutiques. The service was great along with the beer.

went here for the first time and sat at the rooftop tables! our food came out SO fast and was fresh and super enjoyable to eat. the atmosphere was clean and my server/bartendar was so kind and helpful. will be back!

We ate dinner in the roof top dining area, which I believe has a shortened menu. The salmon BLT was very good and the restaurant's beer selection (their own and others) is good. The roof top dining area is nice and has a good view of the downtown.

A comfortable tavern. Reminds me of home in Southern California.

This place is my go to restaurant in the area as they have a wonderful selection of food and an amazing selection of beer that changes often. They always have a great selection of beer on tap and on Sundays they have all day happy hour were their beer is 3$ fantastic and I will always return

Great experience. Food was delicious. Upscale bar food, a little something for everyone. Atmosphere was chill. Outdoor seating available. Socially distancing.

Its great for local beers well they have more than local beers but. There was great service and amazing food, price $$$. So not too terribly bad.

Killer beer and killer service. You can't beat that combination.

Ordered the Tall grass burger. Asked for it to be cooked medium. Burger came out very well. I let the server know and he said he would see what he could do. After sparking with his manager they offered me a 5% discount. I asked if I could just get another burger since I have only taken 2 bites. I
was told no. Just the 5%. Poor management and would not recommend.

Personally my favorite restaurant in town. Their beer selection is great, and you can't go wrong with the Tap Mac!

OK pub grub. Good beer selection, the home brewed stuff is a little over the top. Food was good. Meatloaf was great.

Impressed. My wife and I went several years ago and never went back. I have heard from several people lately that new managers made a lot of changes for the better so we tried it again. Much better food and drinks now. We will see you again soon. My only critique: don't put raw carrots in the meatloaf :)

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. The TapHouse burger and the Salmon BLT were both wonderful. The food and drinks arrived lightning fast. The beer was great, as expected. Our experience was impressive.

I took my girlfriend here for dinner and I have to say it was awful. The building was really cool and the Root Beer was good but that is the only good thing I say about this place. The beer was okay at best and the food was the worst part. I had the pork belly and I don't think I got more than four bites of meat with my fat not to mention the cold fries. I would say stay away from this place unless you like over paying for bad food and beer that okay.
