I was fortunate enough to recently made acquaintance of Alan Lyons of Talent Point in my Job hunt. Alan was extremely helpful, professional and thorough in every conversation. The campaign brief Alan had prepared, was by far the best and most detailed description of role/organisation I have ever seen. The support given by Alan was truly invaluable in giving me the best chance at success. Having worked as a contractor for last decade or so, I have known many recruiters, Talent Point - Alan Lyons in particular, is absolutely amazing and services are unparalleled.

amazing work from sam and ben, appreciated beyond belief

I had an interview through them that lasted about 2 hours. I chased the feedback and any other information for more than a week however the recruiter (Sam) didn't even bother to get back to me. I had to mention that I'll write this review and it was when I managed to get a response/feedback. I'd not work with them as a developer..

My company have used Talent Point for many roles. This was the first time I've personally used them and the experience was fantastic. Jas made the process really clear every step of the way. He was open, honest and professional. I really like the market report that they did before screening the candidates. It was a differentiator from every other recruitment firm i've worked with. The candidates they found met my requirements perfectly because they actually took the time to understand, not only the role but also the company and the culture. I really would recommend them to anyone looking for technical talent.

So, here are some words of (Big) Thanks to Alain Chong at Talent Point who radared out my skills and matched the openings for my previous QA consultancy role (2 years back).

I was contacted by Alain, the initial conversations with Alain were as if like I am getting interviewed for his own company. The conversations with Alain were like skills/technical interview, more of mentoring i.e., even before I got into the real interview(s) phase with the actual company. Although many of us are technically good in working, not all of us are good in presenting ourself in an interview. Alain made every efforts to eliminate that situation of losing an opportunity "because of not presenting what we are capable technically".

All I could say is "Alain is simply superb in carving the skills of a candidate and make them shine more in their career"

Also, Alain is not the one who puts your CV down because you're from different vertical/domain! :) Not just that! Even after securing the contract, the services by Alain, Nicky Radford and TalentPoint team were simply superb. Once again thanks for all your services and guidance. Keep up the good work.

In short, Talent Point is top notch professional job consultancy service providers. They cater the employers ask with suitable employee with valuable time invested on both ends :)

Talent Point are a refreshing talent agency to work with. Many agencies can talk the talk but in my experience I've found only a few will follow through with any real action. Big shout out to Ben in particular who landed me an interview within a day of our first call and a job offer by the following day. He's been an excellent communicator and has restored faith in someone that takes care in matching the right candidates to the right company in terms of both culture and skillset.

Spent 30 minutes on the phone being talked at, desperate to tell me that they weren't a recruitment agency. Asked to send my CV to their client which they would be paid to do if I got the job. Sounds a lot like you're a recruitment agency

Not your typical recruitment agency. The team really cares about finding the right candidates for your company. They understand that cultural fit is as important as technical ability. They are also a nice bunch to work with.

It s refreshing to talk to consultants who really understand your job function and work with you, not only to find your next position but are also able to recommend clients who are best suited to your industry experience and skillset! Highly recommend.

We've had some very good hiring experiences with Talentpoint. They put you through some rigorous up front questioning to make sure you've really thought through the role design and the interview/ selection process. that makes the hiring easier and the candidate choice better. It's a bit like circuit training. It hurts at the time but you're better for it afterwards!

I had to chase the recruiter (Victoria) for updates and was assured a phone interview for a job but never heard a response.

Amazing recruitment agency. I have worked with Jas and he was the best recruitment agent I ever had. Managed to land my first job within few weeks with the help and hard work Jas has put in. Speaking as an employee, I would not recommend working with or for Talent Point. Toxic work environment, unprofessional practices, and two shockingly inept directors.

It's not acceptable to repeatedly call someone to offer services. The tech recruitment agencies like Talent Point seem to have lost touch with common communication etiquette and I refuse to be part of it. Don't think that because you're offering me opportunities you get to interrupt me in meetings or wake me up in the morning after having spent the night dealing with production outages. We all know why you call and like I said, not acceptable.

It has been great working with Luke and Tom. Both of them very professional and able to listen well and understand my thoughts in order to find the right role. I enjoyed how smooth the process and how well they were able to match my profile with the company's profile to land me an ideal role! Well done guys!
