Lovely hotel with great food and amenable staff. Right in the heart of the city!
As always anything run by the Tata group is fantastiv
Lovely place, specially the bar near Blue Ginger. It's surrounded by lush green trees. The cocktails and food are awesome. The service can never go wrong!
A simply exquisite hotel where you step back in time and enjoy the history of the hotel while enjoying every modern amenity and fabulous service
Awesome! Such a vast expanse of greenary within the city! Good food and service. Feels so fresh here.
Really good place... Varied and entertaining facilities to try out. It will just not be kind of a stay, it will be an experience
It was a good experience at taj west end.... Everything was perfect and clean .... I loved the service given by them
All that needs to be said about Taj Westend has probably been said already! The verdant surroundings is still as pristine and peaceful as ever. As it was raining, a buggy took us from the parking area to the lobby. Came here for a Client meeting. Hence only spent about 30 minutes at the Coffee Shop. Enjoyed the South Indian Coffee and cookies that went with it. The service was excellent. Social distancing was maintained with a screen dividing the table. Lot of space between tables. High ceiling. Absolutely safe. Was a good visit.
No tasty food and less experienced staff no proper facilities to ppl who come to get experience with Taj it is very bad
A decline in quality and service. Walked by a tray of dirty dishes left out in the hallway - from the time we arrived, to when we left the next day. Cold food served at breakfast. Garbage (empty water bottles) in the garden, overflowing garbage bins in the parking area. A beautiful hotel and grounds, but service and maintenance is poor. We will be returning to the Oberoi next time.
Service was not that good, they ignored for requests. And also no first aid box like basic tablets for stomach ache, headache, fever. How could they take take of someone who fell sick suddenly.
Extremely unprofessional banquet supervisors and managers!
The skin of my nose and surrounding areas got burned with a splash of chafing fuel at VMWare Kutumb 2020 catered by Taj because of the carelessness of the management, luckily I was wearing spectacles!
They didn't have anything to ignite the fuel so they were using paper napkins for the same instead of long matchsticks which is unprofessional and extremely dangerous!
When I asked banquet manager for some first aid, he told me that there must be something and acted like he was texting someone and I didn't see him again after that.
And they call themselves a 5 star property, shame on them!!!
Great Ambience, awesome food, courteous staff.
Everything is fine here.
Quality Food
Luxurious Rooms
Polite Staff
Best Service
Great place .. looks like a hidden mini forest in the mid of Bangalore .. huge trees and the restaurant are too good ..
It was fun beer festival event with live music, great crowd, dancing etc. Kids enjoyed too. The bands played really great, every single one of them were different and great in their own way. Food was good, but they could have increased the options on food items.
One of the earliest Five Star Hotel of Bangalore. Heritage style buildings. Lots of greenery in the premises
Nature friendly hotel & well maintained it is , with good ambience & staff
It's a awesome restaurant, good nature, nice staff good food taste,
Royal hotel with awesome greenery in enter of bangalore city. But should compromise price, every thing royal rooms, swiming pools, well security,. Every one should visit but Frankly if i say its not for middle class family.
Bangalore's oldest five star hotel, many celebrities including many great cricketers favourite location, reputed place for luxury family functions, food is superb, ambience and front office is very good.

"It s always not about Business
I was on Temporary duty to attend Republic Day parade in Delhi.
I had to stay for two nights in Delhi.
So, I stayed in hotel TAJ
I had specifically chosen the hotel because of its location.
In the evening, I called the reception and requested them to get my dress ironed.
After a while, the room service boy came to pick my dress. I handed over him my uniform for ironing. He was shocked to see my uniform and politely asked Sir, you are in Army. I replied yes, he immediately took out his mobile, and took selfie with me and said Sir, I am seeing an Army officer for the first time. I have seen them in movies only. He instantly stamped his feet and saluted. He said Jai Hind Sir and left.
After awhile, somebody knocked the door. I opened the door and to my amaze two beautiful girls were standing with their cell phones in hand. One of them said Sir, we request for one selfie. I didn t know how to react. I smiled like a fool. I gave them chocolates from the mini bar, as if they were kids. But you know, what nervousness can do to you. It stops the logical flow of thoughts.
At around 2100 Hrs, I Got a call from the reception, asking me if, I can come down for the dinner as it can t be served in room, in an extremely polite manner. I went down to have dinner , then I noticed the real beauty of that place, amazingly awesome interior. Landing from the jungles of Kashmir, the ambience was too shinny for me. The moment I entered the main arena, to my surprise the entire staff was standing there.
The staff approached me with manager leading the contingent. The manager said- Welcome to our hotel Sir, It s our pleasure to have you in our hotel, handing me the beautiful bouquet. The manager himself had dinner with me.
Next Day.
To my surprise, I was provided with a BMW car by the hotel for my move to Rashtrapati Bhawan . Frankly speaking, we are not used to such type of VIP treatment. We fauzis are more comfortable in our Gypsy.
Day of Check Out.
I went to the reception, handed over the card.
Receptionist: Thank you for your stay Sir. How was your stay?
Me: Stay was very comfortable. My Bill please.
Receptionist: Your stay has been sponsored by our hotel. You protect our Nation. So this is our small token of gratitude for you. We respect your patronage.
*It was not about the saving money which made me feel good, but it was about the respect they have shown towards the Olive Green *
I was deeply touched by this gratitude, What a great nation we live in.
After that incident, I wrote to the CEO of TAJ group of hotels. Narrating the incident and appreciating the gesture shown by the Manager of TAJ Delhi.
To my surprise, I got a return mail from the CEO stating that TAJ group of hotels have decided to give discount to Army officers for their stay in TAJ hotels across the country.
Wow, what a way to pay the tribute and respect to the soldiers.
*TATA* *has the best work ethics environment.*
That's why they are not richest unlike other corporates.....
So in moral if you have money without ethics you are a curse to the society...
SuPeRb.. location and good environment and finally AweSoMe... experience
Good place and best food ever. Make little cheaper the price our middle class brother and sister also enjoy your food.
It's a heritage hotel which has a nice 150 years history, which in itself speaks, an amazing place. Been here to book an hall for marriage reception.
Went for dinner, experience was good but not the top notch I thought of it to be
HOUSE FLY WAS SEEN ON FRAME OF HONEY COMB IN DINNING HALL, MAY MAKE DRIPPING HONEY UN-HYGENIC, NON-EDIBLE.
I am always super excited about Taj properties and their hospitality.
I would rate this 5 stars for their food and hospitality.
But from rooms perspective i would rate only 3 stars.
This being heritage property, rooms are very old and squeaky. After staying in refurbished heritage hotels, i found Taj West End to be really old. Bathroom fittings in shower and bathtub were so old that they were not functioning properly. Shower was one painful act as water went in all direction except where it is supposed to land. Wardrobe doors were squeaky and did not close properly. The room was on 1st floor and the room lighting was so dull and felt room was very dark. Absolutely no view from windows, road near by ensured i could hear every passing truck honk and siren heard in night.
The staff ensured all these are forgotten when you reach the breakfast table. Warm welcome, breakfast of your choice, well served with fresh ingredients.
Masala club restaurant is gifted with talented chefs and staff. Loved the dinner i had. Perfect amount of spices, salt, oil, so well cooked and prepared. I would give 7 stars out of 5.
I would wait for Taj to renovate the rooms before i visit them again.
One of the best places to go and party or catch up with friends. I also love organizing events here. Staff is very friendly and cooperative and ready for emergencies. Love the food, ambiance and the sound system is up to the mark. Keep up your good work. Cheers.
The ambiance, location, environment is one of the best leisure places to go for in Bangalore. The garden view rooms are just fabulous. It'll remind you of the old times in Bangalore.
Staff were friendly, breakfast & dinner was excellent. Its worth every minute you spend in there. Can't wait to spend another vacation of mine in there.
Ambiance was good, but taste will be suitable for foreigners. Nothing matches to our typical Indian style food.
True TAJ style hospitality. But what a fabulous property. It's not grand. It is cosy. Like a home away from home. Food is fabulous. Oh must stay just for the property.
Colonial style cottages in lush green extremely well maintained property. Bang in the centre of the city. Good dining options.
Fantastic room, great food, fabulous gardens but the best is warm hospitality of everyone. Recommend a walk with Mr.Prasad, the naturalist as special treat.
Pretty good ambience and great food. Well maintained as a whole
It's one of the oldest Star hotel in Bangalore which is almost 140year's old, It's almost 20acres of campus in the heart of Bangalore city, if you visit this place you feel like your on heaven.
The campus is full greenery, you don't see any multistorage complex inside this, all the rooms were either in a separate building or on duplex building. You will get all kinds of service in this place
Went to an exhibition, parking ll eat lot of time.
More crowded.
But well managed
Supernacular place for party... Nice ambience.. osm place...
Very Nice place for wedding's and other programs, it is just like garden city...
One of the best places to stay lavishly. Takes a dig on the wallet though.
One of the best places and hotel for your guest to stay and dine
There is a mini rain forest hidden there. Don't forget to walk around after your lunch/dinner/breakfast!
Masala Klub restaurant! Best North Indian food in Bengaluru
One of the heritage Hotels in Bangalore and across the country. They have good varieties of kitchens covering all types of menus. Staff are very courteous and ambience is just fantastic and one can enjoy the environment.
Amazing service! Beautiful location. My two weeks here were phenomenal.
Nice quaint place. The parking could be done better as it is pretty much an unpaved bit of land.
Have been der on Nikhil kumaraswamy engagement superb decorations loved it
No Halaal meat. Been there once for an Annual day event from my office. When I inquired before taking my food, I asked whether the Non-Veg is Halaal or not. The server said "It is not Halaal". I got totally surprised to find out.
A Countryside Feeling ! It's wonderful how you can feel away from the city while being in the city , Away from the bust .
Serene And Peaceful .
I went here during Holi. They provided open ground for playing Holi with no rain dance and limited colors in the middle of the afternoon. It was scorching sunny day at 12pm.
