Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences cum hotel Luxurious rooms & suites, some with balconies, plus complimentary breakfast Extremely beautiful place. Adequate place for parking. Ticket cost is absolutely reasonable. Guides are available free of cost. Museum has collection of several pictures of the royal family as well as items used by them. Wonderful experience.Museum consists of some of the King s many collections that are collection of vintage cars, collection of clocks, collection of precious artifacts. Talking about the architecture, this palace so beautifully designed that you can only understand once you visit this place. There are souvenir shops inside the palace so you won t go empty handed for your loved ones.Extremely beautiful place. Adequate place for parking. Ticket cost is absolutely reasonable. Guides are available free of cost. Amazing architecture. Entry fee is 30Rs for Indian citizen and 100Rs for foreigners. Tour guides are available but I don't recommend them. Each and every detail of the king/palace is mentioned clearly in English as well as Hindi. Only some part of the palace and museum is open to the visitors. The Royal family lives in one part and most of the palace is converted into a 5 star hotel. There is also a nice collection of vintage cars. This is a very nice properties to stay. Staffs are also very helpful. I reduce one point because they didn't had hand shower in washroom. It should consider the need of an average Indian

Umaid Bhawan is the official residence of the King of Jodhpur. A small portion of the palace is open to public as a museum. Frankly speaking not much to see in terms of the palace as you have access to a small section of the restricted palace. There is a section with very good collection of vintage cars. Car lovers might like the collection. Ola is easily available here for both pick and drop.

It's awesome place, very good collection of royal goods car, watch, etc. But only 15% of total you have seen maximum part of the palace now under the Hotel Taz. But it's good. The view from the main gate to the city is awesome, just amazing because if you senn the Vila all are the made by same rocks.

Places like these are usually meant for having a good time with your loved ones.
One of the finest place in Jodhpur.
Ambience and environment set for diners is just fantastic. Arrangements for authentic Rajasthani folk music and art have been made. During winter, they provide a miniature charcoal fire to give the effect of a private campfire. Generally foreigners are more in number than locals. This hotel is more of an heritage hotel to provide utmost hospitality to it's guests.

Food in particular wasn't that great which was slightly surprising. It did not live upto the expectation neither did it let me down.
Basically it was so-so.
Above all, Having a good time with your family and friends is the aim they strive for and without doubt I would say they delivered it.
Would have a given it a perfect 5 but the food wasn't upto the mark.

This is one of the finest places to visit. It thrills you with royalty and makes you feel like a king yourself. This place not only ensures the comfort of the user but also ensures their well being and hygiene. You can find well maintained public washrooms and organised ticketing counter at the entrance of the museum. The parking lot offers ample space for safe parking of your private vehicle. As the property is divided into parts, as a visitor you may be restricted to some parts as the other parts are maintained by the taj group of hotels and the royal family. You will get a chance to see the royal car collection of the royal family and a perfect lush green landscape would make the overall ambience tranquil and calm.

Built between 1928 and 1943, the Umaid Bhawan Palace is the world s sixth largest private residence, and is constructed from the same palm court marble that was used in the construction of the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, the palace continues to remain the home of the erstwhile royal family of Jodhpur, and is one of the last remaining great palaces of India.
The first sight of the Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at the highest point in Jodhpur. Majestic domes and turrets coupled with the panoramic view of the city and softly undulating sand dunes that merge into the distant horizon. With the vast emptiness of the desert on one side and the famed Blue City on the other, the Umaid Bhawan a living palace, is the enduring legacy of a rich past and a symbol of modern Jodhpur.
