Absolutely splendid! Opulence and fine hospitality in New Delhi at its best. We were here with our family and our infant and made to feel very comfortable from the moment we stepped out of our car. The decor and ambience was exceptional. The rooms well equipped and appointed. Very prompt room service. The breakfast was par excellence each and every day with chef Tapash at the helm. The staff were very kind to accommodate our special dietary requests. Overall a wonderful and memorable stay and the Taj Hospitality cannot be beaten and is the single most important factor that would bring us back to a Taj.

The hospitality and food is great, though currently during the renovation if you are on 1-2 floors below the floor being renovated then there is noise sometimes during the day which will be bothering.

02 times at this hotel and 1 time at Taj Diplomat. Overall assessment although built before Taj Diplomat, smaller scale, but still beautiful and more luxurious, by the details of tradition.
The hotel is very nice, cozy, especially the decorative details on the walls, the domes made of pottery, shaped the paintings of traditional Indian motifs. All corridors of floors, rooms are covered with Indian carpets, beautiful and luxurious, clean, good hygiene. The hotel has stylish Chinese, Japanese, Indian restaurants and a small bar, the price is not cheap, the average set is 90-100 USD / person, not counting drinks. The 1st floor lobby has a genuine MontBlanc store, and a booth selling Indian handicrafts, fine arts and traditional clothes. Friendly staff, great customer support. Worth 5 stars.

A completely faultless performance from this hotel, from the arrival experience until departure. A very warm welcome, friendly check-in, and a delightful room with patio in peaceful and tranquil surroundings near the Royal Park. The staff have all been there since my last visit 2 years ago, and made a special effort to make me feel welcome, and cared-for. A shining example of old school indian hospitality. Dinner and breakfast in the Derby Grill were both delicious and service spot-on. Dangerously inviting wine list!

Well it was a good time with Taj....I went there for Celebrate a birthday party... it's was awesome experience.... dinner ate there...Shahi Paneer and Dal MAKHANI was very tasty.... Waiters was also good in all aspects....love to go...I would like to recommend all this place...
