I hadn't visited a hotel like vivanta by taj..its mind blowing..

Nice ambiance, baniyan tree in courtyard is fabulous

The place is little crowded and near to a busy road. Very nearby metro station is available. Convinient for commutation.

Pros:
Good room and service.
Food is good and testy.
Comfortable stay.

Cons:
Nearby road is too crowded.
Bathroom is old style.

Great hospitality. Neat place. Spacious and lovely rooms with great views. The food can be better. Also it would have got the 5 star if it looked more lavish.

Well maintained rooms spacious conference hall and tasty food make this place stand out.

While the hotel is adequate in terms of conference halls, the cuisine during the seminar lunch was so so; urine commodes in men's washrooms are placed too high for a man of average height; the smaller conference room AGENDA somehow lacked the appeal expected from a 5 * hotel.

I only visited the restaurant, but this was very good. Delicious meals, great wines and excellent service. Worth a visit. Look at all the desserts...spectacular!

Nice hotel with very good attention.The wrong side is the bad insulation acoustic to be next to a Street with much traffic.. Really it's difficult to sleep.

The best hotel till now which I saw. Rooms are as spacious as you imagine. The name stands for it. Swimming pool is large but very few ppl use it.

Smart, clean, efficient hotel with good amenities and helpful staff. Range of room sizes and views. Nice pool, spa and facilities for entertaining, including restaurants and function rooms.

The establishment is located near a junction. It's easily visible. The food is great.

Firstly to be clear, I haven't stayed there, so the comments are for the banquets and the I one restaurant I visited - Shimmer.

Basically It's a place for banquets and that too only really large ones, not for anything personalized or smaller. We were a group of 300 only but they struggled with lunch. Didn't get rotis in time, food was not refilled properly, the gravies were tasteless. The tastiest item was the plain pulao.

Also they tend to cut corners - cookies were over at tea time so when I pointed it out, the server just went to another counter, used his bare hands to pick up some, throw it into an empty tray and attempted to serve us. When I pointed it out, he realised that he was caught so he immediately went away.

It just seemed that no one cared.

The restaurant Shimmer was no better. Do not visit it if you are more than 2 people. Drinks took 30 mins to arrive and the starters another 20.

The starters too were nothing more than just ordinary.

The cocktail was again dissapointing. The'Old Fashioned' here is served with a whisky called Black & White, where as one would expect that in what is a 5 star hotel, they should stick to any original Bourbon. If the F&B head thinks this is the way to reduce costs, well, just shut the place down.

Everything other that the availability of rooms and banqueting space is just a formality it seems.

Avoidable. The whole place is avoidable.

Great place however you will hate the chaotic traffic around the place
