We waited about 30 minutes for food, even though it was almost empty. The food is expensive, and the servings are small. $24 for a small piece of salmon and about 5 pieces of broccolini. Would not recommend. At least the food was tasty.

This is hard for me as this place is my favorite place in Rutland. Let me start by saying the food was excellent as it always is! My qualm is with the waitress who completely ignored us for over a half hour. Now we all ordered drinks and steaks but after the drinks arrived we didn't she her again for at least 30 mins.Mind you we had no silverware or napkins for apps.We probably would have ordered a bottle of wine and dessert if we hadn't had to wait for 30 mins to receive them. Very upset with the service...wish we had gotten Phil. He is a fantastic waiter. Please fix this

We were sitting in what I believe is the sun room area. A mouse came out twice while eating dinner. Management was informed but didn t seem phased asked if we wanted to move, that s about it. We were not comped or given a discount, so I paid 40+ dollars to have dinner with a mouse.

This is such a cute little place. Traveling from CT we stopped around 730 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. Tastefully decorated, great menu and drink specials. Waiter was very nice and attentive. Had the beer cheese dip for an app- it was different, but delicious! We both ordered the Shepard's pie for an entree, It was SO GOOD made with chicken such a fun twist on it. We parked on the street and had a short walk to the door. Great experience.

The meal was good and the waitress was awesome...the only complaint I have is that the Creme Brulee was horrible...no vanilla taste and I try it at every good restaurant that I eat at...it was so bland.

Excellent cheeseburger for lunch. Cooked to the right temp, juicy, Tillamook Cheddar, crispy bacon and an over easy egg. The fries were a thin shoestring style, and were different, but good. Homemade pickles were a good palate cleanser. Atmosphere is dark and welcoming with booth seating, and the bar is a large 3 rail set up. I will stop back on my next trip through Rut to try the Mac & Cheese.

Love this place for a special outing or regular date night. Friendly staff (especially Phil) who are knowledgeable about the menu and wine list; sometimes it's worth letting them choose for you. Make sure to book a reservation for Valentine's Day and other holidays.

This time around we had the cornbread skillet (with not-too-hot jalapenos and sweet maple butter; trust them with this combo), house salad (which fed two of us), Parisian gnocchi (that broth!), and prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes (perfectly cooked). We paired it with the Joel Gotte Sauvignon Blanc.

My boyfriend, who is critical of restaurants and hardly every goes to the same place twice, gave this place an A+.

Perfect place for a bite, a fully stocked bar and it is soooo family friendly. The waiter gave us a picture and he drew it on the back of the kids menu! (The art is attached below) I am a local and am here right now, it is a very great place and if you are here for any reason it is a must try for Rutland!!!

Visiting for the first time, the atmosphere inside is lovely. Glass wine bottles surround comforting booth tables in a very rustic, homey feel. Having very dim lighting inside, it made the restaurant seem much more chilly inside than I'm sure it could have been, albeit below zero outside.

I enjoyed the spinach and arugula salad; at first it seemed it was lacking flavor from the vinaigrette, but once I snagged a sliver of granny smith apple? It was amazing. Walnuts and goat cheese decorated the the salad, adding texture and depth.

Well-smoked meats seem to be difficult to come by in Rutland restaurants, so I will add that the pulled pork sandwich was a wonderful surprise. However, the slaw was so delicious but lacking on the sandwich, so the next time I visit I will have the cole-slaw as my side instead of the sweet potato fries.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Reminds me of a spruced-up sports bar more than a fine dining establishment, even though the waiters are in ties and button-down shirts.

A Wonderful Dining Experience. The service was attentive and thorough. Our waiter Phil, brought our experience to a high level of excellence. The food was high quality, tasty, and served to our table in a timely manner. The prices were not cheap, but the cost of the meal was very reasonable, in fact less expensive than what I was expecting given the quality of the food and the high level of service. The restaurant will give you a parking validation pass if you park in the garage across the street. Just don't show up too late. We observed a few couples and a small group that showed up half an hour before closing and the restaurant turned them away due to the approaching closing time. It is advised to make a reservation. Don't forget to call back and confirm your reservation. The reason is that dining at Table 24 is not just a meal, it is a culinary experience! It was well worth the trip to Rutland for an exquisite dinner at Table 24.

Food was excellent. Nice grill, good options, creativity and serving all exceeded expectations. Waiter was very weird, maybe he was new.

Try the grilled asparagus and the mushroom risotto if you're vegetarian.

Creme brule is a big serving, enough to share for two people.

Great selection from the bar. Lovely atmosphere. Server was nervous and busy, but it was a Saturday night and we were a larger group. Food selection was diverse - we had vegetarians and meat eaters and all were satisfied. Solid experience.

Absolutely a must try! The atmosphere is lovely and perfect for a romantic date. Our waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable. Get the duck fritters and cornbread apps, you won't regret it. The cornbread had a nice crispy crunch with moist inside just like I get back home (NC mountains). The duck fritters renewed my husband faith in trying more duck dishes. My ribs were fall off the bone tender and not overly saucy. My plate also came with rotisserie chicken which was tender and fell apart with a touch. The chicken also had a bbq glaze that packed a little boozy punch at the end. The arugala and spinach salad was delicious and same goes for the pork tenderloin. If you get the garlic mashed potatoes ask for a side of the duck fritter gravy; you'll want to swim in it!

Awful. For an upscale restaurant the quality was terrible. Didn't let us know until 20 minutes after we ordered that they had run out of both items we had ordered. Settled on a lousy cheeseburger, fries the size of potatoe sticks and a Salad the size of burger kings dollar menu. What a waste of 50$! Will not be returning to this establishment. Should have went somewhere else.

For the prices you pay, the quality of the food should be a lot better, and the service should be as well. I paid $28 for a rib-eye that was about a quarter of a piece of fat. It came with about five finger potatoes and no other vegetable. If the steak was any good, I wouldn't even mind paying for sides, i.e., Abe and Louie's. I'm not cheap. I enjoy expensive meals when you are paying extra for good quality and good service, but you won't find either here. Caveat emptor.

I loved the decorations of the place, I think that is what makes this place unique. The menu has a great selection of beer and wine. The food is incredible too. I recommend the maple pork tenderloin. For dessert the sorbet they have is a great option.

Blackened salmon burger, beet salad, and eggplant parmesan were all amazing. The cornbread with maple butter was also unique (I ve yet to find maple butter elsewhere!). FYI, the staff are super conscientious about COVID if that helps. I d highly recommend!

Everything from the drinks to the dinner to the dessert was exquisite. There was nothing over cooked, nothing even just a bit too salty. Portion sizes were perfect, and made for a hearty meal. I highly recommend this venue for your next night out. You will not be disappointed.

I stopped here twice during my brief stay in Rutland during my Appalachian trail thru-hike. Facilities are nice. Menu is varied. Many locals seemed to be eating here which is a good sign. Different specials each day. I would probably go back if I'm ever in town again.

Best restaurant in Rutland. Fresh, wood- fired entree's with fresh, local ingredients. Brittany is awesome, but you'll need to sit at the bar. Get the fondue! Wings are also great. Soup of the day is good every day... love this place.

We were in town for a destination wedding. It was recommended by another guest and I saw the YELP ratings were high. Interesting specials, unique menu items coupled with favorites. Prime rib flat bread?! Amazing. My wife had the veggie plate and raved. Every person at the table loved what they got.

Not sure why this place has such a high rating. I ordered a smoked brisket and a pan seared duck. Both looked and tasted weird. Not trying to eat as I am scared of a food poisoning. Smells weird inside as well.

Went there on a business dinner. The food and service were great. The steak was delicious and properly cooked. Our server was very nice and efficient. Don't let the sketchy location turn you off. Price are on par with the food quality. Will return on my next visit to the area.

Great food and great service. The barbecue pork nachos are fantastic! Also, the single platter of nachos are more than for two people. Ordered as a starter, became the finisher. Maple cured pork tenderloin was amazing as the entree and reasonably sized.

Absolutely love this place! Went there for the first time with my friends. The waiters were extremely friendly. Food was perfectly cooked. I started with the Arugula salad with goat cheese, dried apricots and white champagne dressing. For the main course, I had wooden fried salmon with asparagus. It was delicious! My friends had mac and cheese and a salad. Finally, we had their Chocolate chip cookie sundae. Needless to say, it was amazing.. If you sit in the front deck, you should. It's very neat! will definitely be visiting again :)

This restaurant's menu is to be commended! Service was so friendly, and amazing rotisserie chicken and chicken shepherd's pie. Tasted very fresh and local! Also offer a variety of local ciders and beers for the 21+ crowd.
