Tabbuli Grill Review

I just started going to Tabbulis two weeks ago and I love it. In a lot of ways it is helping not only save my relationship, but it is also getting me to be myself and feel comfortable in my own skin. And ignore the negativity in some of these reviews. Tabbulis has give the LGBT community a place to not have to be closeted and raise our self-esteem. With as much hate crime against our community that I've witnessed growing up I always pretended to be something I wasn't. Thank you all so much at Tabbulis for giving me confidence to be myself and helping better my relationship. Sylvia, Camina, Jovone, and I all love you and will be there every possible Tuesday.

I'll start off by commending our server, Ryan. He was SO friendly and funny and very accommodating to our wanting to switch tables into the sun. I'm a waitress, and he was beyond fantastic with helpfulness and niceness. He didn't try to rush us out when we were finishing our hookah after eating. My husband and I haven't done hookah before so we came here with two friends who have. We've heard awesome things about the food here, and my husband also works as a cook in a Mediterranean restaurant. The food was outstanding!!!! We got the Island Life flavor for our hookah, and it wasn't my favorite since it's just not my flavor palette, but everyone else loved it and by the end, I liked it a lot more. Overall, I can't wait to come here again, and I hope Ryan is our server next time. It was such a great experience.

Omg!!! The food here is amazing. The manager/ owner Ish is amazing and very hospitable. The atmosphere is a whole vibe. The outdoor dining experience was out of this world. If you are looking for authentic, inexpensive Mediterranean food with an amazing atmosphere, you will not be disappointed.

Tabbouli is always always always the best time. Whether your there for the drink, hookah, food, or catching a drag show! Its laid back, everyone is so friendly (both staff and customers) and everyone is having a great time. Been going here for 5 years and never plan on stopping!

Literally one of the best experiences Ive had!!!! From the great prices, food, and our AMAZING server Ryan it was perfect!!!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!! And ask for Ryan he will make your visit that much better.

We went here because it was the only place that wasn't packed at the time, and it was decent. The staff was friendly, the food was okay, and we loved the atmosphere. We were not aware it was a hookah bar when we went so we were not expecting that, but at least it was all outdoors.

I love coming here for a beer and some hookah. The food while pricey has always been good and the staff is wonderful and on top of things. Just be careful of when you go, at night it turns in to a club. If your looking for a relaxing time make sure to come in the afternoon.

Just moved to South Carolina and I love smoking hookah with my boyfriend. This place was not busy at all and it took them 45 minutes to make a hookah and it s 30$ plus cover charge 5$ each. So we only get to smoke for 30 minutes. I didn t want to pay. I would like a refund but no. Terrible place. Never going ever. So mad. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Generally, I have a good time here. Although, it can be a hit and miss with some servers.

Loved the show! Everything was great except it got really crowded and some ppl could be a bit rude at times.

Went to this club a Saturday night on my trip to SC. DJ was playing a music that maybe only he likes because no one was dancing. Hookah was bad and really expensive.

Terrible Customer Service, Bad Management AND Racial Profiles! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

This place came highly recommended by the locals because of the food. I went on a Saturday night looking to have drinks, a bite to eat and a little fun. I stopped several staff members (5 to be exact!) and asked to place an order. Each of the staff members said they would send a Server over to take my order. After over 2 hours of patiently waiting I asked for the Manager. When the "Manager" (who I witnessed drinking and partying 10 minutes prior) arrived, her response to my complaint was, "you have to make a reservation to order food."

After paying a $10 cover charge, ordering bottle service, and waiting over 2 hours for a Server to take my order, I left. As I waited for my Uber to arrive with my friend, 3 groups of people walked in. The 2 hostesses told the groups that there was no cover charge (which I assumed there was no cover charge because the bar would be closing in 1 hour). However, a group of black guys walked up and they charged them $10 each.

Great party scene on the weekends. Our waitresses are always very nice and on point even with the rush of people. Great hookah. The drinks are delicious. Music could be a bit lower tho. I don't really see a lot of dancing if any here. Could afford to lower the volume so my friends and I can actually hear each other and maintain a decent conversation

This is actually one of my favorite places because they have a great selection of flavors for the hookahs.... you like hookah this is the place for you... The music selection is alternative which can take some getting use to if that's not your kind of music but if you can see pass it you'll have a great time...

i think it's time to retire some of the hookah's and get new ones.

Food isn't that great, but the outside seating area is great for sharing hookah and drinks with friends. They have happy hour weekdays from 5-7. They have $3 mixed drinks, $2 beers, half off hookah, and $5 gyro pizza. Great place to socialize for a couple hours, but not the best place to eat.

The first night we went, we were told the drink was 5 bucks, got charged 7 each without the tax. They don't tell you the extra coal for the hookah costs 2 bucks. The 2nd night, took them ages to come to our table. Avoid this place

I went in a couple days ago and the bartender I think her name Tay was very rude to me. Super passive aggressive for no reason. But other than that it was a good experience :/

Awesome environment! Hookah flavor was amazing! The waitress was super enthusiastic and friendly! Hell, everyone was super awesome! Including Skye and Avea stood out the most! So much fun! Great way to spend a birthday! Can t wait to come back!!!

Great restaurant! Pleasant atmosphere and super nice servers. Our waitress, steph, and the manager helped us charge a phone for one woefully underprepared member of our party.

The food is delicious, the hummus trio is a solid 10/10 and the pita is crazy fresh.

The food is alright, but their is always a problem with the order, either they make it different each time you order or it's cold and this last time their was a long hair in my to go bag outside my food container. I don't think I'll be back.

I thought this day would never come--me ordering a *salad* at a restaurant that specializes in burgers. Unfortunately, due to a stricter diet, I did the unforeseeable, and had the salad not been good, the unforgivable. Luckily for me, the Ahi Tuna and Citrus Salad ticked all the boxes,

Amazing food... very well prepared. Nice casual little spot to enjoy and sit outdoors on a sunny day. There is also a covered area .... for those not so perfect weather days. Great location... right downtown... walk to everywhere from here. Also very good value! I will go back.

The food was good the drinks were great but it took 30 mins to get a hookah and it didn't smoke right the bathrooms were terrible no toilet paper for my wife but our server was very polite and tried to make our visit a good one with some free shots they just got to make sure those bathrooms are clean and the hookah smokes and gets to us on time and they will be good

As an tourist I'd have to say this is one of the most accommodating places we patronized. The GM, Cat was superior with customer service and making sure that we were completely and totally satisfied. The bartenders and our waitresses were exceptional and more than willing to be sure our visit was memorable. Thank you Cat, Brian and courtney....m

Not authentic food. If you re going to this place for food, skip it, it s a big disappointment. The service is good, the food sucks, the music and the vibes are not relatable at all. They charge $1 for water -_-

Taboo Tuesday was fun, the seating and positioning of the stage should be reorganized for better viewing. The restroom needed major attention.

We went one night and had great service. We went back the next day and the day time bar tender was adding gratuity to our bill without asking....only two people in the group.

Awesome atmosphere. The food was delicious, and I can't wait to go back again!

A bit busy at times, but staff has always made sure to check in. Honestly I m blown away they re able to juggle so many patrons at once at the level of service they provide.

I go to Tabs like every weekend, it's a great place to just hang out and listen to good music. Ryan is an amazing server and I refuse to be served by anyone else. He is part of the reason why I go every weekend.

My girlfriend and I came in today for lunch and hookah and the place was amazing. We got the wings and a lamb kabob both were amazing. Our server chance was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of, he knew about everything on the menu and made choosing a hookah easy. The manager was Carrie and she was so charming and with it being so cold was able to bring a heater close to keep us warm and happy. You rock tabbuli! I ll definitely be back! I ll be back for the drag brunch on Sunday!

Honestly this place deserves a zero star. I'm it 3 stars only because the manager Elliott is a very nice person and very helpful. I hope the owners hire more staff for the busy nights, I can't imagine this place surviving for long if things aren't remedied ASAP.

The food was great. We visited the Saturday after Thanksgiving, just a few days ago. We sat waiting for about 30 minutes before a waitress came. During the wait, we were ignored by one waitress with sharply color contrasted hair (black roots, blond ends). We were sitting next to a table she was servicing. Not once did she acknowledge us when we were obviously trying to get her attention. A simple, "You're not sitting in my section, but I'll get your waitress for you" would have been nice. Instead, she refused to even look in our direction and made sure not to walk directly past our table. She looked angry anyway, so I guess she didn't feel like working. Better that she stayed away, I doubt we would have tipped her.

The waitress who finally came saved the day. She was quick, smiling, and friendly. We tipped her at 75% due to her excellent service. She was great. Management needs to have a talk with blonde tips. I would have given one star instead of three had it not been for the 2nd waitress.

Staff dont know what they are doing, and their attitude are so bad. Bad Hookah, bad service and bad experience. The old staff on the previous location were much better.

Came in 7:45 on a Tuesday. Sat for 10 minutes after we were seated and no one came to talk to us.

Service was HORRIBLE! The waiter messed up my order and then I didn't get my food until after everyone else in my party was done eating. They did not take anything off of my bill for this. They also added gratuity to someone in my party without them knowing and authorizing it. I will not be back to this restaurant.

If you re looking for good food, amazing service, and great conversation; this is the place to go. Great selection of food, drinks, and as an added touch, hookah.

Restrooms are absolutely FILTHY, the decor is very old and beat up. We have been sitting here for approximately 35 minutes (my best guess) and havent received our food. No water in about 10 minutes. Service was quite poor. Can t hear each other over the loud music.

This place is obviously a major hot spot in Charleston. My friend and I arrived around 10 or so, paid a cover fee ($5 each) and was told there would be an hour wait for a table but bar was open - first come, first serve. There was room at the bar but we were told we couldn't sit due to it being where they made hookah, but there was one guy sitting in that same spot.

Staff is absolutely disgusting and all pathological liars and closet racists. From the manager Carrie to the server cici to the bouncer Roth .

Chance was our server. Fantastic server, great sense of humor. Made us wanna come back with our friends!!! Very fun! Would recommend to my friends and anyone really!! wish chance was our server the second time!

Drag brunch was a blast. The Queen's were fabulous and host Ava Clear kept it going despite the heat. "Drag is a winter sports" Leigh our server was lovely, kept our drinks full and was knowledgeable able the restaurant and menu. We will be back.

Hookahs are incredibly over priced. Couldn t believe my eyes after seeing our bill. Absolutely insane. Of all the the hookah places we ve been it s by far the most expensive. It s cheaper to literally buy your own hookah.

Mediocre service, drinks, and food. We ordered our food and it took over an hour to arrive. Understandable if there is a wait, but my party (of 5) was the only party there.

Always a nice time here. The mix crowed is a plus. Great drinks and music.

Drinks were okay. Clearly not a place for children or tourists. Just wanted to have a cocktail before heading to the airport. Let's just say we were not greeted with open arms. Ordered waters and we got environmentally harmful plastic bottles of water and were charged for 3 out of 5 of them. Next time we'll just wait and pay airport prices for cacktails.

I have been in town for three nights with the wife been very disappointed in every location we ve been to until Neil caught us on the street and invited us in that was one of the best experiences in a restaurant in Charleston we have had ,And Nick the bartender was the other reason we stuck around for the full evening and we have four nights left in Charleston and we will probably spend every night having dinner here because of those two guys great experience great Food ,will recommend to friends and family back in Tennessee
