I like the place because it's possible to find Asian food in a vast variety and good price. It is always busy.

Most busy and popular TNT store in metro Vancouver. Good place to shop for Asian food.

Could not find Gochujang. Was surprised they don't carry it

Found steamed pork buns. I had been having withdrawals since travelling to Japan and thanks to this wonderful store that itch has been scratched. Great variety of alot of food that you normally struggle to find.

avoid buying fruits from here. Recently purchased 3 peaches, wanting to eat them on second day of purchase, not over ripped as still a bit tough to the touch. but turns out the peaches are black inside, all 3 none of them were inedible. Not impressed, they weren't even on sale.

I appreciate that they are taking health measures for their customers and staff. But to deny access because someone is not wearing a mask and then charging a dollar for a level 1 mask is not good customer service. If you insist that everyone wears a mask when entering the store provide them at cost and not at a profit. Masks are only helpful if used properly

Everything in China. The price is not cheap. You have to check the specials often

Busy but cashier's are really fast. Green grapes are really good price and seeet

So many Asian selection and best place to explore cool stuff from that continent. You can find Japanese chips, Korean mear, Filipino snacks, Chinese knives, you name it.

The hot food is too salty. The vegetables
are not fresh.

One of the top grocery store ever, it's definitely worth your money and time plus they also have delicious menu option for meals. I would go there every week just for that, besides Walmart, Superstore and Choicemarket where my other go-to x places.

Love t&t overall but this branch, i have purchased pork belly in the packaged meat section on two separate occasions maybe a month or so in between and I got funky smelling (taint) pork belly with still quite a bit of hairs on the skin. I do NOT think they're handling the meat properly. Next time I go there I will take a picture of the hairs on the skin of the meat and I will post it here. NOT GOOD.

This t&t is very big and convenient as it's in the mall. They also have a big area where they sell hot food (dimsum style, hot noodle soup, etc.) which is not in all t&t stores. They even have an additional cashier in the bakery section to cater to those eating in. They have a small eating area as well for those who want to eat there. Next to the cashiers there is also an ice cream store that opened up not too long ago that is really popular too.

Very assorted you find different things at a good price

Metrotown's T&T has the best branch in Metro Vancouver because of their customizability of their deli and hot foods section. Not only can you weigh your own specialty Chinese dishes, but also you can customize your own rice wraps, crepes, as well as choose pre-made lunch deals there. Of course there's still the usual shopping experience and the free samples during weekends!

Some things are surprisingly cheap and others very expensive, especially when compared to where we live. Very large variety of good in a store much larger than we're used to

This location of the well-established in-mall Asian supermarket shows its age. While areas are clean and general spacious, intermittent rush periods bring a gridlock of people thoughtlessly parking plastic green shopping buggies anywhere. The produce area is constantly replenished though items on special are very limited in quantity. Ready-made food dishes are consistent at the mid-range in value and quality. The quiet meat department begs for an (equipment and / supplier) makeover from bad and broken LED lighting to products looking hardly fresh; the main reason this location personally stopped being my one-stop shop. New self-service checkouts speed up the process to leave the store. 4-day specials carry fewer popular food items than before, pushing for high-priced goods and sundries while the website pushes for online shopping for pickup and delivery. Did the good shopping experience simply moved to the newer-opened location instead?

Edit: DO NOT COME HERE. Every time we come, the service gets worse and worse. It's not only the staff who suck, the customers do too. I was putting my cart away when I got slammed by someone. A lady had crushed me between the carts.
When we were ordering food, we got yelled at by the staff for the worker's own mistake. YELLED AT. What are we, slaves? We are paying customers!

Honestly, when T&T first came out, I lived in Langely in the 90's. They were a fantastic Asian super market, as my family would often go there for the Taiwanese products. But over the years, their quality has been deteriorating.

Not just that, most of the products nowadays aren't even Taiwanese anymore, the majority selling Hong Kong style products/foods, and others- which isn't a bad thing! It's just that it has lost it's focus as a Taiwanese centered market.

That's the least of my concerns as I understand that being more diverse is beneficial for everyone. HOWEVER, the staff attitude at T&T Supermarket seems to be degrading with their quality. As many times, when items are on sale, they are most likely not fresh or nearing the expiry date. Many times, we have eaten food and had food poisoning after consuming it.

Today was the worst service I received in my 20 years at T&T. We were shopping as usual and were at the cashier. The cashier, a lady named Quinn, nonchalantly packaged our goods. However, she slammed the heavy merchandise on my fingers, immediately bruising them.

When we got home, we realized that the organic eggs we bought were soaking wet. The cashier had spread the frozen fish all over the eggs.

This is opinion based on my life experience with this supermarket chain. I hope my review doesn't offend or criticize anybody. I sincerely hope it has been useful.

They have reduced the smaller pull carts and replaced it with the bigger push carts to encourage more purchasing. Not good.
They do not pack your food.
You have to do it yourself. Not good.

There was a cockroach chilling on the hot food takeout counter. Seemed like a regular thing at this T&T.

come here many times one cashier joey never smile never say hello never ask if i need a bag always stand there with a angry face refuse to bag items until I give her my bag. Kept her angry looking face the entire time did not say thank you did not look she wanted to work there. Many times I see while lineup she never smile once to other customers she always look really angry really poor customer service.I think she is rudest cashier there act if customer did something wrong to her all the time. dont know how the store does not see her angry attitude all the time. Now when I come for groceries I make sure she is not the cashier I am lineup in.

Cathy D a tnt staff was incredibly racist/discriminating/very rude.... she argued with making me pay immediately I ve paid for the same products before in the normal tils before a few days ago...... instead she goes ahead, grabs it from my cart and places a security magnet sticker on it..... the way she put things out/way she treated me was absolutely not alright.

Always packed and always has the best selection of Asian food. Rabbits and ducks tofu balls anyone?

Love it hate it.. crowded as hell, and im just talking about the parking lot. Why can't they just stay home. Just know what you need to buy before you get there.

Nobody speaks English here. They used to sell different seeds by weight. Not anymore:( Useless place for me now.

Great supermarket for all things Asian. Excellent fresh seafood at great prices. Parking is awful.

Where to buy Asian food. The disadvantage is that the same ingredients are a bit more expensive than other supermarkets selling Asian food.

Convenient location, good prices and excellent stocking organization. However some staffs are rude. I always buy groceries and fresh foods but cooked foods don't taste good.

I would give 0 star if I could. Don't trust the label on their product. You might consume a whole bunch of CHEMICAL from their product unless you have a private lab test on everything bought from them before using / eating them. I have been eating RESIN peeling off from the pan they sold for a month.

Huge store, lots of Asian and Chinese food and snacks. They also provide hot food service, such as dim sum, stir fries and sushi.

There is live fish you can buy and they will clean and prepare it for you. There s also meat shop, where you can buy different kid of meat, and if you buy ribs, they can cut them for you, and if you buy pork or beef, they can also turn them into ground beef or pork for you as well.

There are day to day goods for you to choose from as well. Great supermarket, but usually crowded, very crowded. Price is on the high side, but if you need Chinese food or sauce, this is the place to go.

Good store, lots of variaty and value. Its not Asian, its East Asia type of grocery. Not all of asia eats noodles with chop sticks.

Good place to get cudy cudy, (sea weed wrapped around a cracker ) great prices and friendly staff, very organised and clean store, and a great place to find exotic shampoo and other health care needs that are not sold anywhere else, and at reasonable prices. It's a one stop shop, even for Christmas, alot of gift ideas. Just love this store, it has everything.

If I'm in the city you better bet that I'm stopping at a Tnt. Always love browsing the aisles and trying new food. It's always a gamble but usually you find something you love. Obsessed with their chicken buns in the bakery! Wish there was one in Abbotsford or Langley.

I would say there's lots of good things about this store. My review is for the seafood. They do have quite a selection, but the fish is not fresh and it's not locally caught. They ship it in from Toronto!!! No labels of fresh or previously frozen so you have no idea what you're buying. I tried to ask if any of their fish is caught locally. 3 of the fishmongers didn't speak enough English to understand my question. In fact, I don't think they spoke English at all!! If you don't have English-speaking people at the counter, what you're saying is you don't want white people shopping there. Finally found one who spoke some English, but he seemed to have a lack of knowledge about the product. Only thing he knew is they get their fish from Toronto. Pretty shameful considering where we live. Also some of the fish in the tanks were in bad shape and they were selling dead turtles. I didn't even know that was legal. Thanks but no thanks!
