I was v close to securing a role with another recruiter until a Snr guy at this firm called me for a chat . Me being naive at the time and trusting TOM, I explained that I was no longer looking for a position and disclosed the role. Within 24 hrs the role was off the table I can only assume these guys were in contact with the hiring manager and completely discredited me. Needless to say I thought the industry was professional and had standards until TOM (IP) came into play
This review has been way overdue. I got a call from James Pang at TOM soon after my arrival in Sydney from overseas. He got my details on LinkedIn. Coincidentally TOM had been recommended to me as a recruiter of choice before my arrival in Australia. From that first phone call and interview with them i knew i was in good hands. Grant, a co-owner, also met me at their office.
TOM took the time to find out what i was looking for in my next role and in a day i had 2 interviews lined up. Their knowledge of the recruiting company, org structure and the roles itself set me up well for the interviews . I was quickly called in for a 2nd interview and was offered the job.
I gladly recommend TOM to friends looking for their next opportunity as i know they will not be treated as a "fee generator".

They listened to the type of role I was interested in and didn t bombard me with calls and emails re irrelevant roles (unlike some recruiters!). They know the market and their clients really well and seem genuinely focussed on finding a good match for all parties.
