What a beautiful Catholic Church. Lot's of history. The staff is very helpful. Ask them about the history of the Church and u will enjoy it. Please help then by donating money to keep this history a live. The same for ur local Church

I would recommend anyone, Catholic or not, to view the inside of this church. It is the most beautiful church I have ever been inside. There is a suggested donation of $3 when you enter and photos are allowed. They hold mass 3 times a day. We arrived while they were holding mass but only had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. I don't think you will be disappointed by visiting this truly majestic place. It's hard not to feel His presence. Absolutely stunning.

Not only is it a gorgeous cathedral, it is a gorgeous parish. We attended one of the finest masses that I have ever experience, the 10 AM Sunday service. Great homily, thundering organ, angelic choir. I left feeling blessed.

What an amazing cathedral. I really love the stained glass and stone carvings. Keep in mind this cathedral is still being used and therefore you may have to wait while a funeral or wedding is taking place. Definately worth the time to see this amazing cathedral.

It is a breathtaking place to visit; AND you are always welcome to further understand the building and stay Mass, no matter your religious belief (or lack thereof). Don't worry about the water, dropping to one knee, crossing yourself, and kneeling and standing, just follow along. There are guides at the back to provide help in understanding the celebration if you are interested, and no hard sell at the exit. While there are no clothing restrictions as in some other countries, modest coverage is appreciated. Also as active Cathedral, the Cathedral may be closed briefly to tourists during Mass, Weddings, Funerals, or other special religious events.

What a beautiful place - a physical manifestation to the glory of God. We go to Savannah every year and we always go to the Cathedral. The Holy Water font is especially amazing - and if you're at all Irish; it's THE place to be on St. Patrick's Day!

Such a beautiful place! I had the pleasure of staying a few blocks away and would visit in the morning and evenings to take pictures of the low angled light. The architecture and lighting makes for some amazing compositions.

I have visited this cathedral a few times and I am always in awe of its beauty. It is such an intricate church, featuring beautiful stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings with delicate paintings and just an overall welcoming atmosphere. The outside structure isn't ostentatious at all, but the inside will leave you breathless.
I love that it's free to visit and it even has a clean restroom, which is always needed when you're out walking in the city. A must see if you're in Savannah
