First time flying from this Airport. Very clean and friendly.
First time flying from this Airport. Very clean and friendly.
Fun fact about this airport: Theodore Francis Green is the full name. It was also the first state owned airport, opening in 1931.
This airports so incredibly easy to get to, no complicated roads, plenty of parking. The flights aren't as extensive as Logan but if the city you are flying to is accessible through this airport, you'll have a great experience.
Right outside the airport there are stores and places to grab some food as well
Very pleasant airport as not crowded and customs and immigration were efficient and courteous. However would be very wary of renting car from the likes of Thrifty as their fuel return policy is extremely punitive (top up charge for fuel is more than four times rate of commercial rate outside airport)
One of my favorite airports. Fast and convenient getting into and out of the airport. Quick, friendly agents and security. One star off because baggage claim is soooo slow (across all airlines).
The rental car area is a joke!! 1 person working all companies!
Great alternative to BOS if your situated in southeastern MA.
I fly into about 40 different airports a year. Worst airport EVER if you are renting a car. You can fly into Boston get a car and drive here quicker.
Today during a pick up of our relative who was flying into RI for A family burial we encountered car trouble and when asked the assistance of a TSA employee McDonald who was just ending his nightly shift( who could of easily declined his assistance as he was no longer on the clock ) instead McDonald stayed and helped us in every way he could ... he helped us get our car restarted! Thank you for all your help !!! Your assistance and kindness was so appreciated more than you know!!
Easy parking, lots of flights, no Boston traffic to fight
First time flying, so glad I flew into TF Green. Everyone was so pleasant
First experience flying out of Providence. First time using Frontier as well. Alexa was warm and welcoming as well as very accommodating to my needs when I checked in. So far so good! Thank you Alexa!!
Staff was super friendly, easy to navigate, really clean
If you enjoy airline service representatives yelling at customers and making them cry after a 3 hour flight delay that wasn t even communicated until 15 minutes after scheduled boarding time and bartenders curtly replying last call to every bar patron for an hour, then this is the airport for you.
It's a pretty good airport pretty well laid-out really easy to get in and out of to pick people up or drop people
Great service and wonderful people. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again in the near future.
Nice airport. I'm glad I can fly out of T. F. Green since it's local. Having to drive to Logan or Hartford would suck.
Its great to be able to get in and out of an air port with ease.
I am extremely angry with T.F Green Airport!!!
12:00 AM, Call boss to set up "$44" Uber to Mystic CT! No Uber allowed,What!
Registered Cab, "$151". With no employees or explaination. Cab it is.
Should of walked to Duncan Doughnuts and called Uber. T.F Green is milking dollars for transportation like the Monopoly charges $4 for water.
Love flying out of Providence always quick and easy with less crowds.
Love this place, so easy to get in and out which makes traveling great
Best small airport ever!
Go little Rhody!
Awesome airport, love the new skywalk(I get some think it's a bit much, but a helpful tip, ask for the ride, they'll gladly give you one), love the accessibility to the trains or car rentals. TSA is amazing, friendly, and fast. The terminals are setup very nicely with plenty of shops and food. The terminals are very clean no matter what.
I live in Charlotte but travel home to Connecticut frequently. Any chance I get, I fly in/out of T.F. Green. Their staff is friendly, no lines at TSA, and they have a Shipyard bar!!
I love T.F. Green! So small and fast, much better than going into Boston. Rental car company is in the airport also. Bonus!!! Bye, bye until next time
Very nice airport with friendly staffing (with the exception of the TSA, of course). I am one of those who still liked the older (pre-late 1990s) version much better. But then, everything was, sadly much better back then! YMMV
No signage for Uber when exiting the airport.
Signs eventually appear when you are at garage C. By this stage it s fairly frustrating.
The airport needs to recognize, it s not the ride share company you are putting out but the paying customers. Sort it out and put up signs.
Great Airport. Small but well located. Staff super friendly
None of the cordial behavior I've had at Hartsfield or in DC. Only airport where I found snot smeared on more than one gate wall. Note: If you use a satin finish paint on your walls, don't be surprised they look gross & greased up from the passengers you cram into your flights and become funky from absorbing humid air.
Excellent less expensive alternative to Boston airport.
Very nice experience in this airport. Be prepared for lots of walking (sky bridge is a lengthy)! This airport is really clean and looks brand new.
Friendliest airport I have ever visited. Everyone, TSA, shopkeepers, everyone. Was even welcomed by a "pet me" canine. There is a military lounge (not USO related) for all military regardless if active or not. A free library nook down in the baggage area. Small airport, actually ate at restaurant across street between connecting flights. The gentleman at the Candy Hanger was great. Even have an arcade with pinball, my favorite.
Good clean airport......easy in and out airport#hellyea........
I used this medium sized airport for the first time for a round trip to Detroit . It is the airport for Providence, Rhode Island and is located on the South side of the city off I-95. It is an attractive, efficient airport and has convenient parking. I live in southeast CT and it took about 40 minutes to get to the airport via I-95.
Very quick, clean and snack shack good DD was as slow as
Situated right in the middle of a million people. 20 minutes from landing to being in your car and on RT. 95.
Great Airport, that is easy to get in and out of. Parking is cheap and easy
Airport is easy to get to, easy to navigate and security lines are always manageable.
Why do I TF Green Airport (PVD)? I left home, parked, went through TSA, and am standing at my departure gate in 45 minutes flat.
Very convenient airport, not overly crowded, quick and friendly TSA agents, and adding destinations all the time. Enough food options to tide you over while waiting for your flight. I've found customs to be pretty quick on the one international flight I've made. Much preferred over Boston Logan. I just wish they had more nonstop domestic destinations in the central and western US.
Nice and small airport . You have walk a lot for getting to rental car place and this airport does not have ability to scan the boarding pass from mobile.
Nice airport with plenty of shopping and food.
It s clean and very new which is nice compared to some other airports that I ve flown into.
However one thing to consider is the walk tot he rental lot is PRETTY DARN FAR! Compare the size of your calf muscles before and after the walk!
Changed my 10h trip to 18 hours because of their own incompetence.
The airport police officer out at departures and arrivals drop off area right at this moment (3\25\18) @ 345p.m. is a dick :)
Easy parking and SBucks right beside arrival seats!
Convenient to all of Rhode Island? Yep.
But what s with so few shops & restaurants?
What s with the prices in the shops? I travel all over the place, and everything here seems to cost a little too much, even by airport standards.
Oh: and how about a few more outlets to charge mobile devices? Right?
I have a charger, but my heart breaks for people who don t.
So there you have it.
Nice small airport. Always check the prices here to try to avoid flying from Boston. Flown from here many times. Only had one bad experience but that was the airlines fault not the airport itself.
This is just a very nice airport. Large checkin area and fast checkin and security checks. The concourse has many little shops and eateries. The terminal can be reached from Warwick and Providence by public transport running every 40 minutes. The airport offers many connections to a variety of large hubs that are well connected to reach destinations around the globe.
One of the best airports. Yes, it is that good. Been traveling through T.F Green for a long time. Most times all went well. Sometime the security takes forever, but iot is what it is.
Great airport, great selection of shops and restaurants. Fast and easy security checkpoint
Simple airport to fly into. Everyone was very friendly and directed us easily to the rental car agency. It was a really long walk to get there but it was in a enclosed walkway which would be convenient for winter time. Much easier to fly in here when driving to the coast.
It was a quiet airport with a nice design in the woods.
Small, easy to navigate airport. Got out, picked up luggage and caught my uber in under 15 minutes. Helpful signage throughout
Heading to Charlotte and then to Florida, to see my Father, haven't seen him in 30 yrs. I'm happy & very Excited.
This was the friendliest airport staff I have ever encountered! At 4:00 am they were all smiles, kind, and some humorous. We had a long day of flying ahead of us and the T.F. Green staff made our day start off on a good foot. Thank you for being kind!
the long walk to the rental cars was a bit much when you're toting so much.
This was my first time flying through this airport. It was a quick and easy experience with helpful staff. I visited the bathroom, and they do a good job keeping it deodorized.
The best airport in the country for convenience, security and curtious personnel!!
I always leave out of PVD. It's easy to get too everything thing is clearly marked. Great airport
Smaller airport compared to major cities. Cheaper long term parking, easier to get to and from, less security lines than Boston.
We flew into PVD for a 2 week stay visiting family & friends. Upon arrival we noticed that many retail areas were closed. Restaurants, shops and the like were shuttered. We thought that was COVID related. We retrieved our luggage and headed to the parking garage to pick up our auto rental. Escalator to the 2nd level not working. Well, then we'll take the elevator. One of the two was operating.....slowly. Now there's a bit of a walk from the terminal to the garage but there are moving walkways that shorten the distance. Except they are also out of order. There are golf carts with drivers....usually. But none seen that day.
You might ignore all of this and assume that timely repairs and staffing adjustments will be made?
Nope! We departed 2 weeks later and the same equipment was non-functional.
The handwriting is on the wall. PVD needs an injection of enthusiasm badly otherwise Hartford & Boston will completely take over.
PVD is a jewel and will shine if leadership is in place.
Is anyone watching?
Love flying in and out of TF Green. Always have has a smooth travel experience here.
This is a pretty nice regional airport. Security is never too long. I'm docking two stars because they have stopped letting Uber pick you up at the pick up zone.
