By far, the best airport in Southern New England. When compared to Boston Logan, traffic is easy, parking is cheap and plentiful, airport is easy to navigate, security is a breeze and food options are decent.

Downside is that flight options are much more limited than at Logan and airline ticket prices are higher, much higher in many cases.

Always my go-to airport that I try to use every time I fly but cannot seem to find enough non stop flights from.

I like to say this is a human sized airport: only one terminal, usually very fast security lines (6-8 am slowdown included), park for $18 a day within walking distance of gates (Garage C), and now even public transport. We once even left our car open and running in the lot for 20 min, got back, no one had touched it.

I had a great experience here yesterday. Flying during the holidays can always be stressful, but this was so easy! I went to check my bags in with my airline (Jet Blue), there was no wait and the gentlemen at the desk was friendly, well informed about my flight and the delay that we had and processed my information quickly. Security was also a very short wait and I was able to get through quickly and easily. I spent some time at one of the restaurant bars while waiting for my delayed flight and the staff was friendly. And finally, I really enjoyed the pet program where they walk dogs through the airport for passengers to pet while they wait for their flight. Overall it was a very positive experience even while waiting for a delayed flight. I will definitely fly through T.F. Green again in the future when I can.

I had a nightmarish trip back to school in Boston that was made a lot better by the pleasant little surprise that is this airport! It feels very fresh and welcoming in the terminal, everything is clearly marked so you know where you're going at all times, and the staff are extremely friendly. I highly suggest this as an option for flying into the Boston area. The MBTA commuter rail line takes you right into the heart of the city for $12!

One of the most user friendly and convenient airports and I have traveled around the world. Though small, the airport is becoming very complete with international non-stop routes. Easy one-stop service to most places in the world with all major airlines connecting to hub airports with direct European, Asian, African, and Oceania destinations.
The only thing that is sorely needed is non-stop service to CA. Just noted one stop service to Maui via Chicago and one stop service to Honolulu via Chicago and Newark.

Pretty big airport. The Skywalk to the rental cars is nice. The Skywalk has moving walkway. Lots of art and history to look at. The car rental garage has 6 floors. This airport has the coolest bathroom I have ever seen, well, toilets. Lol. The toilet seat cover is automatic. There is an oystee bar i would have tried, but it was closed. Lots of the eateries and fun was closed becauaeof coronavirus. Theres lots of beaches nearby!

Small easy to navigate airport. This airport does get busy at peak times but mostly it's non congested. There are international flights which can be an outstanding value. plenty of food options, during peak times Dunkin will have extremely long lines. Parking is a bit pricey because all the lots are associated with the airport and are not independently operated. The rental car facility is walking distance and does not require a shuttle

TF Green is easy to get to, right off the exit. Its a smaller airport so NO running, no long terminals, smaller lines at security, lots of popular airlines, going to popular cities. No headaches that you get dealing with larger city hubs.

Very Great Airport Staff and Usually Overall not that Busy. I travel about 1-2 Times a Year to Visit my Dad in Virginia & He always books me to fly on Southwest and the Line for reception to get my Mom or Legal Guardian's boarding pass, (I am 13 so I'm considered an Unaccompanied Minor so therefore an parent/adult has to go to gate with me and wait until takeoff to leave), is always very short with often only about 2-3 people in line in front of us. Altogether, Very nice airport considering it is the only Airport in Rhode Island!

National airport of Providence with small size. Airport is relatively far from downtown center if you don't have car. I recommend Uber or taxi to go there. Payed about 30-40 usd in taxi to go to downtown from airport. When I flighted back airport was almost empty and checkin an safety checks were extremely fast.

I normally like this small and easily accessible airport. But in the last two times flying in, the baggage handling has been horrible. In just the last three weeks I have twice had to wait for over a half hour to receive my bags.
If you want to be a respected airport in New England, have timely baggage handlers.

Who reviews an airport?? No one.... Unless! You just encountered the friendliest TSA staff ever! The security line was so fast and pleasant that I almost went through twice. 10/10 would recommend. Only thing I would do different is keep a quarter in my pocket just to spend a little extra time with those friendly folks!

Ok this airport is great because its small and does many international destinations. But my biggest complaint... No amenities past 1130pm. A vending machine could help some of this problem. Other than that. Great airport to get in and out of

T.F. Greene is a wonderful snapshot of what RI has to offer. A Dunkin every 100 yards, random displays of RI wanting to look important, and at least one person in a group of 10 looking like they just pulled a 15 hour shift washing the floors of the Providence Zoo.

5/5, yes I'm completely serious

Easy in and out airport. I found the economy parking option easy to use. A van picked me up in the lot and dropped me off near my car. On my return it was equally easy. Their economy parking is 100% better than Logan airports in which I have had to wait up to 30 minutes for a bus to pick me up at the lot.

Save yourself the hassle, headache, & time by flying Via PVD.

Transit to Logan can be sketchy at best & add over an hour of transit time to & fro during your journey, if you are located in Southern New England.

Airport is small, easy to navigate, & clean with a quick security check.

Of course, PVD isn't located in Providence, which one might assume, based on the name, but rather Warwick. All in all, it's probably better that way. Had this airport been located in Providence, one could expect greater traffic wows.

If you find yourself waiting for your ride, stop by the Federal Tavern located on the second floor by TSA check in & grab a cold draft, beverage, or a snack. If that doesn't suit you, maybe Starbucks can set you right.

For those beyond the security check point awaiting a flight, folks will find several coffee options, eateries, & shopping. I might recommend Providence Oyster bar for lunch or dinner & check out some RI centric pleasantries at Only In RI.

My one disclaimer is that I have observed that both outbound & inbound flights at PVD may come at an increased cost when compared to those at Logan in Boston, but the convenience is well worth it.

Happy Travels...

Half a mile walk to get transportation, everything shut down ridiculously early. No anything. Can't get to gates and better seating, not so much as a soda machine for a drink. This is supposed to be an international airport, not a Podunk one plane operation. Pathetic.

Nice airport with restaurant options. Pepped up with fun art installations on the walls. Only problem is the 12 minute walk to the car rentals. Driver of the golf cart transportation passed me twice, empty. Never offered a ride which I need as I use a cane and have walking difficulties. If they fix this I'd give it five stars. All other employees were great.

Access is easy enough and several direct flights daily to Chicago, so it worked out great. The rental car location is a hike, but they do provide access to a golf cart if you look overloaded or just need some extra help down the path. Employees were nice, and the facilities were clean. PVD is on the short list for travel to this area.

Sky walk to rental cars is a long walk for some even though there is a moving walk part of the way. Near beginning of walk , there is a courtesy phone for a ride to rental cars. A tip is appropriate. Friendly people and efficient airport.
