This pub has a great mix of people. Locals who have been drinking there for years rub shoulders with world travellers. You could meet an eighty year old traditional musician from Clare chatting to a techno D.J. from Warsaw. Listen to award winning slam poets and stand up comedians in the seomra beag. One minute you're dancing to some cutting edge hip-hop in the smoking area and the next you're in the lounge arranging to foot turf with your Uncle Paddy. A singer/songwriter from California might be tuning his guitar in the front bar as John is handing out the prizes for rock and roll bingo. The Raggaman could be freestyling with a bodhran or Griffin could be belting out a bit of Stockton's Wing.If you like a festival vibe and original material this could be the pub for you.

Very good pub and very friendly staff brilliant music there

Had 2 stops here yesterday, great clientele who entertained us as we sat in the sun! Lovely place and will be popn in again for a crafty one or two later before we leave!!
