I live at Sothgate Garden Apts in Thomasville, NC.
My family moved in this past March.
I have paid my rent on time each month, but the things that I have asked to be fixed have NOT be done.
Actually, my apt should have NOT been in the condition it is in when I moved in.
Because of the condition it is in, I have had to kill a Brown Recluse spider on my pillow and now I have ants in my apt.
The front and back glass doors are broke, 2 windows will not stay up, my dishwasher leaks, the fan in the bathroon is broke and the facet in the tub has a drip. I looked up how much water I will loose for 1 yr by the drip and it's over 2,000 gallons.
The excuse I get is that Corey, the maintenance guy is behind. Well, this is not my fault. Hire an additional person.
Again, this apt should have been 100% fixed.
I could go on and on, but hopefully you hear what I am saying.
I would appreciate a response back if my issues will be taken care of immediately. There is no problem taking my money each month, but there is a serious problem when it comes to fixing my apt.

They're are multiple reasons why I love, appreciate, & enjoy this company!! I have been a resident for a while & I must say that despite prior reviews on google....they answer my phone calls, they have done the best they can with answering all of my questions, if they didn't know they found out (even if it took a day or two they got back to me), & the resident functions are awesome!! Im thoroughly pleased with my experience as well as the people Ive spoken too. i personally will give them 5 stars all day, everyday, between the day, on top of the day!!

I had an incident when I first moved in back in April!Nicole who oversees The View at 5010 was very disrespectful and not helpful!They do not take the needs or complaints of residents seriously.But require Rent to be paid.Im still having issues with The View at 5010 and is eager to see what actions will be done because as of right now I have contacted a lawyer and is seeking legal action toward the property.I advise anyone to not lease from their properties and read all reviews!!!!

I reside at Southgate Garden Apartments in Thomasville, NC. I submitted a list of repairs in August of 2017, and have yet to see any of repairs completed other than replacing the refrigerator. I have not had a glass storm door since December 2017. The old door stood up against the front of the apartment for six months. The maintenance man finally removed it in June 2018, but to date I still have not received a new door. The outside air conditioning system quit working last year and still doesn't work. Do you think this is good when I have asthma and COPD? I bought two window units out of pocket that costed me over $550. Is this fair considering that I am paying for rent on a place where a heat and air unit was provided, but you failed to maintain? My heat didn't work for half of the winter. Not to mention, the property manager here is rude, rude, rude! There's so much more...

There's plenty of issues at Southgate Gardens with repairs not being addressed, terrible grounds keeping, and etc. However, this takes them all: Every week we noticed that they were piling junk at the road week after week in front of the building we stay in. I've been trying to catch who was doing it because it is definitely an eyesore. Previously, the property manager told me when I complained that she'd put it where she wants to put it! Well, I found out last week that it is a man that doesn't live in this complex or this county. A neighbor confronted him and he said to her that Caroline in the office gave him permission. What is going on here? It's still illegal because he isn't a resident. I'm waiting to catch him and get video footage and carry it to the authorities. I'm tired of the mess here. I will also give the video to my attorney because people shouldn't have to open their front doors to see "Sanford and Son." Hopefully, I can get him! Who runs an apartment complex like this? We live like dogs!

Nicole is the most unprofessional person, second is our apartment manager Sharon at Ellington Farms in Wilmington.

They gossip about residents, any complaint you have "didn't happen", and hold grudges to appease their sad high school drama.

The latest incident, after being chased by a woman in a car who let her dog out to harass me on property, and I get yelled out for walking into the office and being too loud for trying to find safety.

Save yourself. DO NOT RENT WITH SYNCO!!!

One of the most horrible experiences I have ever had with leasing. I moved out of Charlotte it was so bad. The laws say they don't have to fix air conditioning. Mine didn't work for 2 months because the maintenance mgr. was ill and his crew were inept and lazy. Ants in the collector - simple fix so why did I have to suffer? I paid my rent early. The management is terrible. I always paid 2 weeks in advance and after moving out because The Colony was condemned, I received a bill for another months rent even though I paid and gave them notice. I would never lease from a property managed by SYNCO again. SYNCO is STINKO!

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE ABSOLUTE DISPLEASURE OF DOING "BUSINESS" WITH. Impossible to contact directly and the way they "manage" others properties is down right sad. Refusing to sign a verification of rental history to tenants to be able to buy a home because they are shady. Payment portal has 10 months of missing payment history and none of the absolute incompetent employees have an answer as to why. Nichole is a snide, unprofessional, disgusting "woman". Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT ANY PROPERTY THAT IS "MANAGED" by this joke of a company!

Capital Places Columbia SC. Stay away, was never late with rent and when it was time to leave at the end of my 6. month lease they wanted additional rent because it was not clear I need to give a 30 day notice even thought a 6 month lease signing implies I would not stay pass 6 months. They had hidden language that helps them defend that if you don't give a 30 month day notice you will automatically be placed on a month to month basis. I paid you for 6 months as agreed initially and it is sad that you will try and get an additional month of rent from me for a vacant unit. SHAME ON YOU AND YOU SHOULD LOOK TO REPLACE THIS SO CALL MANAGER KRISTEN.

As a multifamily owner, I was very impressed with the onsite management at a Synco-managed property I visited.

The alignment with the ownership objectives was very noteworthy. Should I seek a new management team for a property that makes sense, I would definitely put Synco on the list of considered management companies.
