Blatant discrimination against tenants. Some tenants get special offers and other tenants do not. The newest property manager Heather Tindle at Sync at Spring Cypress will speak with you in the most condescending tone. She is very passive aggressive and lies about the things that she has conceded to for tenants. The management team will appear that they are fair but believe me when I say that they are not. The practices are inconsistent and unethical. I'm a tenant who has paid my rent on time every month only to be treated like a second class citizen. The office manager Heather offers prorated deals to some tenants and not others. She forgets what she tells you and is adamant about being right versus what's best for the tenant. This is suppose to be a place that people call home, instead you'll hate you ever signed a lease here. And I'm not interested in any canned response of "sorry about your experience" because it's simply just some public display on disingenuousness' that proves my point. Stay away from this property. They are not struggling with the retention rate for anything. They are struggling because the management lacks consistency. They lack fair processes and they lack true leadership. That's the story behind the numbers.
Update: If you file a compliant, they will require that there are witnesses to speak with you. It appears that they are being overly accomodating but they are not. They are simply trying to cover themselves.
Additional Update: They also search you on social media. Not sure why... if you are tenant.. It appears that they search tenants who file complaints on social media.
I went in looking for an apartment Sync at Liberty Hills, I was showed a model and submitted my application. At time of move in I was told my unit was switched and I wanted to view the apartment before signing lease. I asked a relative of mine to view the unit to be sure it was nice and clean, she walked the unit and the apartment was disgusting, the washer hadn t been cleaned and the bacteria from the water sitting turned yellow. Every cabinet in the kitchen was stained with grease and some kind of red substance and water damage with black substance or mold.We spoke to leasing and Manager and both were rude and nasty. I was told originally that it was nothing they can do about the cabinets. The Manager didn t show any concern at all. I asked for my app fee and was told they will send in the mail within 30 days it s been well over 30 days their excuse for not sending was because they had no address on file(Lie). I recommend never leasing here! I had to call Fair Housing because I was treated this way!!!!!!!
I ve never lived at a property with such horrible service! This company has just taken over a property I currently lived at and the place has really went to a dump! The grounds are ridiculously filthy! It makes me sick just walking in the halls and seeing that no one is showing attention to the aesthetics of the property. I once was able to walk on my patio and see a beautiful pond garden but now it looks so filthy and the fountains aren t even working. Since this company has taken over they have showed no care in the world. Also once the entry doors is missing the whole door handle so anyone can walk in of course. At least the last company s maintenance team was present and very helpful. I would see them actively making sure the property looked good. I hate this company got rid of the whole previous staff. I wish I could give this company zero stars!
I have lived at this property in Missouri City going on 2 years, the noise the noise is horrible Property has really gone down, they stump upstairs all the time, reports have been filed and I have complained to Stephaney or management on many occasions and still no resolution. I was also told by security there is really nothing they can do. Recently we have been struck by covid-19 pandemic, every house hold tragedy has taken a life or employment. I sent my furlough document to Stephanie and spoke to her by phone regarding the furlough.... her response was "can't you find other employment" Wow, how insensitive, or hopefully something will come along for you. I sent the document to her a week ago never responding and she now sent to corporate to determine if I will get evicted. My job would like me to take a position in another state to avoid unemployment and to feed my family, but Sync rather evict my family knowing it takes 8 weeks to receive unemployment or longer for another position. They are so insensitive. They are worried about money, knowing so many residents here have moved out w/o giving notice because they lost their jobs or love one. But I have an alternative but they turn a blind eye or refuse to understand my dilemma. I'm notifying the Governor and Mayors office and who ever else will assist me avoid a blemish on my profile, I still need a roof over our heads where ever I relocate if possible. I have to feed my children and my husband is disable who is unemployed due to covid-19. Covid-19 has caused so many unfortunate issues and deaths and evictions and unemployment even business to close and all Sync care about is the bottom line "your money". This really saddens me these corporate individuals are so callus hearted to anyone's tragedy. Get this We have Never Ever been late on our rent 2200 month!!!! Don't I and all residents deserve Grace during this Pandemic!!!!........ 2:39pm, I can not believe the Sync resident corporate office and Stephanie, I get a email from Stephanie stating you have to pay 3700.00 to move out, I have to stay 60 days in order to move out, but my new furlough job starts 10/24/20. Wow they don't care about no-one but stack their pockets!!!!. this really need to be reported!!!!!!!
Spring property the inside of the apartments are nice but maintenance nor management pay any attention to exterior detail. Sad because the Harmony area is newly developed. Lights out, capped off building lights, per waste everywhere, hallways stain and dirty, grass dead, looks like no sprinklers except the front of the clubhouse. Fire puts rusted and don t work, weeds in putting green. Trash compactor door is propped open with a long board, which is a liability if the trash compactor works. Elevators need to be wiped down. This property could look amazing if someone just cared!! I ve been in multi family for 21 years and sad to see employees don t care.
I was broken into TWICE by the leasing staff and the maintenance staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I have called the corporate office TWICE and left TWO messages and not a single soul has called me back yet! This has to be the absolute worst experience I've had with a leasing company EVER!
Question, I see 5 star reviews and I see a below par rating of 2.8. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE. How is it that some give you a 5 star and others say that this is a horrible experience. I'm not new to the game, but really....I had to rate or it would not post, so EXPLAIN
