My favorite part of this hotel was the location and the concierge level! We traveled this trip with one child that is a vegan diet. After 1 night in the concierge level for light snacks (more like small meal) the test of the week they had a vegan option ready for her. Beautiful local fruit for breakfast every morning. Location- perfect walking to everything!

Fantastic location. Literally minutes walk from circular quay train station. Lots of great eating places just walks away. Room was not spectacular but it was comfortable and the location is great for tourists who want to be in the heart of Sydney cbd. The elevators were a slightly awkward situation. You never know which one will open and they don't seem to make a sound when it opens.

The Sydney Harbor Marriott couldn't be strategically better located for visitors and business travelers! The staff and the property are fantastic and make you feel very welcomed.. Rooms are great and so is the Executive Lounge!

Spent our 2 week quarantine period here after returning from overseas. Very appreciative of the staff who were very professional and provided a great food menu with adequate portions and excellent variety. Room sizes are good and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you for looking after us and hope we can return in the future in better circumstances.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a great location in ...

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a great location in Circular Quay. First the hotel: apparently it just completed a major renovation project. It looks spectacular. Great architecture like you would expect from a modern Australian design. Lobby is stunning, main restaurant has the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant so you get a unique experience while eating authentic Australian cuisine. Rooms are nice and modern, with separate shower and tub. We had a great view of the Sydney Opera house which was great to see both in the morning and evening. The gym is great as well: three separate areas for core, strength, and aerobics. It actually has FREE WEIGHTS, something hard to find in most hotel gyms for those that travel and exercise often. It also has a heavy bag with boxing gloves provided which was a welcome bonus. I didn't get a chance to try out the indoor pool but it looked great as well.

Service: excellent. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were able to get a room. However even if your room isn't ready, they have a lounge dedicated for early arrivals so that guests can be comfortable until the room is ready. Concierge was very helpful in helping us choose the best of what to see and how to get to it. They can get tickets for just about everything (a real concierge). Room service staff was great, and the team that handled our luggage was great as well.

The location may be the most amazing. You are literally 4 minutes walk time from the Opera house and great views of the bridge and city. There are two great restaurant/bars connected to the hotel. Additional great restaurants and bars are within steps, and so are regular needs like grocery stores and pharmacies. If you walk out the hotel and go right for an 8 minute walk you can hit high end stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. If you walk out and go left you can get to Pitts Street Mall for regular stores like H&M, Guess, etc. The ferry is also a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which you can take to Manly beach and see a great view of Sydney on the way.

Highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely stay again for my next visit.

Set in the centre of Sydney, Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay is a short walk from Circular Quay Railway Station, and just a few steps from local bars and eateries. It also features a gym, a sauna and a heated pool.

Providing views of Sydney Harbour, the hotel is a convenient place to stay for those wanting to check out local attractions in Sydney. Amenities include facial and body treatments, plus 24-hour room service and a coffee bar.

Rooms at Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay come with refrigerators, mini bars and spa baths. Hot drinks can be brewed with the complimentary tea and coffee supplies, and enjoyed in the comfort of the room's sitting area

Excellent hotel just meters from Circular Quay. Its location is excellent with easy access to ferries , the botanical garden and the business district . All important places in Sydney are within walking distance.
I have been in many hotels in Sydney, but this definitely has the best beds. After a long flight from Europe and the time difference , the bed is important.
The service was also excellent, with a very quick check in and check out.
Currently they make reconstruction of the lobby , in rooms not audible , but the reception is a bit noisy.
Definitely this is the best hotel in Sydney where I have been.

Check in was extremely disappointed . I am an Ambassador Elite and they didn t guarantee my pre paid room. I couldn t check in early . I waited for 4 hours and I still did not get my room. I asked them to cancel and informed them I was disappointed in them. The staff are INCOMPETENT. I was so disappointed that I immediately booked at Pier One, which has great service and the rooms are incredible !!! Pier One looked at my passport and realized it was my birthday and immediately made me feel special, upgraded me and told them about my horror story at Sheraton. Apparently Sheraton is famous for really bad service so Pier One wasn t suprised.

Overpriced. Should be 3 star at most. Staff member Rodrigo at reception was terrible and horrible customer service skills. Me and my wife arrived late at night exhausted after a full day travel. Rodrigo called the manager due to our booking the hid in a nearby room for almost 15min while we waited, standing at the lobby. They did not honor our booking and charged us double for the price for one night so we had to plan new accommodations that night and wake early to travel again. While we stayed we tried to enjoy our night but then found that the room service food was atrocious and low quality. Also they do not offer free WiFi, even trashy cafes offer it!! The location is ok if you want to be on crowded busy streets when you go outside but nothing special at all. At the North-ryde courtyard it was great and manager even delivered chocolate and a hand written thankyou card while we stayed there, its near a huge shopping district.Pier One was fantastic and beautiful like a piece of art. I've stayed in 3 of the Marriott's in Australia and 100s in the United States. This one is the worst I've experienced. They do not give back they just take your money, save your dignity and somewhere that respects humans. At Marriot Circular quay they do not treat you well unless
you are throwing money at them.

Professional visit, staff were very friendly and contentious. Rooms were very nice. After dinner service is not great, perhaps we caught the transition but it was very difficult to get a drink in the lounge area after 9pm.

I jave stayed in a lot s of Marriott properties worldwide and to be honest they don t even one star for Marriott Sydney as rooms are from the old era and have not been renovated from ages and also courtesy level and services are mediocre. God I cant believe Marriott gone to this low level as I had high regards for brand Marriott. Don t try it even

We were expecting more from this 5 star hotel. We did get upgraded to a bridge view room which was really a partial view, but still it was a nice gesture. Before we arrived, we got an email starting they do have shower facilities to use at a cost of A$25 per person while waiting for the room to be ready. Pier One (also Marriott) hotel in downtown offers this at no charge. The room was a good size, the bathroom was on a smaller side. What 5 star hotel offers freeze dry coffee?? Evidently this one. Some other features (for example, an old hairdryer) were not up to 5 star quality either. The location is good, and hotel staff was friendly.

I understand the hotel was recently renovated and if so they did a super job. Extra points, for having our room ready on an early check-in. For cruise ship passengers it is an easy five minute walk from the terminal to the hotel, even with luggage.

We staid here for one night and thought it was great. All of the traditional amenities you would expect from a Marriott in the US and a few extras. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and it s less than a 5 minute walk to Circular Quay. Would definitely stay again.

The location was in the business district so there weren't a ton of places to eat dinner. But many great places are just a short walk or train ride away. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was great.

Staff are very nice and helpful. Executive Lounge temporarily relocated to 2nd FL during remodeling. Very comfortable beds. Very little noise from outside guest room. Lots of restaurant options within just a couple minutes walk.

Great location, close to Circular Quay and the Opera House and in the heart of Sydney. If you like to explore by walking it is ideally situated. Standard Marriot, so you know what to expect if you have stayed elsewhere.

Hotel has a good location, near to Opera house and Circular Quay but I have to say, it is the worst hotel by Marriott brand; Rooms are small, and trust me its really small, everything is so old. I usually prefer Marriott brand but I think this time I made mistake. :( Hope Marriott team will listen to this.

My home away from home in Sydney. They always manage to find me a room early as my flights always arrive in the morning. Decent gym and walking distance to a lot of great places. One block from the ferry terminal and trains of you need to go further. Only problem is the elevators are extremely slow.

My husband and I stayed here three nights, two before and one after our cruise. The location was amazing! You are within walking distance to the Cruise Ship Terminal in Circular Key, the Sydney Opera House, and the Queen Victoria Building among others. The staff was kind and our room was perfect! The bed was very comfortable and had a spacious bathroom.

Additionally, the Marriott offers an Early Arrivals Lounge free of charge where you can shower, have snacks and freshen up if you arrive to the hotel before your room is ready (which we did due to coming in on an intentional flight). The hotel also offers free currency exchange up to $100 per day which was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!
