High tea buffet, great good, great staff.. Highly recommended..
This stylish, modern and relaxing hotel is great value and conveniently located in the CBD. It's also one of the few hotels in the city with a swimming pool. Family friendly with adjoining family rooms makes this a great hotel for that special occassion.
Great place, Very friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms very clean with quality amenities.
Beautiful renovated hotel right I shopping precinct.
Small ground floor foyer with too much luggage and too many people making access to lifts to the main foyer difficult and slow. Otherwise nice.
Wonderful accommodation, wonderful food, wonderful location
Nice room and service. $30 breakfast fee feels exhoberant.
It is one of the best places in sydney, I hope to visit this coffee again and I also want to thank for ajay and leo they were very friendly in this coffee
Tiny rooms. Strange smelling lobby area. After two nights I wanted to extend and they wanted to double my price. I'm at the four seasons now for a lower price, bigger room, and a view of the Opera House.
Great hotel in a central location, the presentation and service is top notch - definitely worth staying!
Enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant. Staff didn't rush us away despite it being pretty busy on the night.
I LOVED THIS PLACE WHEN I WENT! It was so relaxing and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is always clean and the wifi is very good. The television display isn't that good, but that wasn't the main point of the trip. I would certainly go again. ;)
Great location for shopping, food, places to go for families and city running. Family friendly. We always stay here when in Sydney CBD. Customer service is excellent!
I am an Accor Plus member and was disappointed at my experience at the Swissotel hotel. I was greeted by the staff and upon checking in was told that they could not find my booking despite me booking directly through the Accor website and recieving a confirmation of said booking.
The room we were provided was a supposed "upgrade" but the room was lacking and the views non existent apart from the concrete building next door.
I expected more for this price point and one of the premier Accor Brands in Sydney.
If I were you, I would be looking elsewhere such as the Novotel or Sofitel brands of the Accor family.
We are locals who enjoyed an overnight stay in Sydney's CBD.
I found this hotel and stayed here and was amazed on how comfortable it is staying there.
Delightful stay. Friendly and helpful staff. The free wi-fi was a little slow but manageable. The only negative was that we requested some cutlery to our room but it took them more than 45 minutes to deliver. Had to call and check with the hotel service twice.
The price for the location is amazing, dead centre city!!.
I had one request of having a bottle of bubbly with a note left in the room upon arrival for my daughters( i was prepared to pay extra) but before I could even say that, I had an email stating yes they can do it and at no extra charge!
Outstanding customer service! And very much appreciated.
We do these trips often , but will now only stay here
Thankyou so much for a memorable stay with my daughters
We attended using a Groupon. I completely forgot to make a booking (doh!), but they were able to seat us anyways. Unfortunately the good service ended there - we were asked about our prefered cocktail drinks, but never about the tea. Eventually we flagged down someone and they gave us a short list of the available teas (but we walked past a bunch of tea boxes on the way in...?). I got up and looked at the different teas and made my selection. The food was alright, but nothing special. The bread for the sandwich was a bit dry, the icing on the ginger cake was delicious; the strawberry cake was a tad too sweet, the panna cotta was very smooth; the jam seemed store bought, there was plenty of cream. A mixed bag.
Swissotel looks small from the outside but opens into a classy modern interior which invites guests to feel relaxed and stay longer. Customer service was friendly and professional
Great clean rooms, comfy beds, hot constant water! Very friendly staff!
Apart from the food, it was an amazing hotel with super friendly staff.
Fantastic hotel. Well worth staying. Incredible views of the city and in such an awesome location.
Hello sir can I join your hotel. I'm house keeper age 20 years old
Excellent service and a great place to stay. Tried the pool, restaurant and bar and everything was to a very high standard.
Great location, very nice room and views of the city
It's about as central sydney CBD as it gets. Nice hotel, parking is ok but offsite.
Good place to stay as shopping just around your doorstep.
One of my favourite places to stay. Close to the shops. Crossbar is nice. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly.
The room was clean. Free water was a good plus. The bed and sheets were very comfortable.
But the bar closes at 11 o'clock? There is a lobby on the 8th floor, which makes it inconvenient to come and go. Other facilities are good
Good place. Conference facilities were
Pleasent
Nice hotel, professional staff. The umbrella in the cupboard with a $35 price tag adds a bit of an unwelcoming vibe (the "we're going to squeeze as much extra cash out of you"-type vibe).
Great location. Parking is on Kent st and is reasonably priced. Bar feels a bit like an airport lounge but overall a nice hotel.
The check in process took a little longer than it should have been but staff were doing their best to help find our reservation. We got a nice room on a high floor. Room service dinner was such a lovely treat, a club sandwich which was delicious and a huge size and a good rare fillet steak - we ate that too quickly to take a photo but the swiss chocolate cake was divine!! The only problem was by the time we got to it, it was not as warm given it was prob heated up before delivery but still amazing nonetheless!! Definitely give the room service here a go!!
Convenient transportation, many shopping malls nearby, clean and clean rooms
Didn't stay just met someone for a business meeting Inn The lobby cafe. Poor service sat for 30 min no service and had to go looking to make an order. Considering there were not many customers disappointing.
Rooms have been fine. Staff has all been very amiable. Really enjoy the breakfast in the executive lounge, as well as the ability to pop in for a drink. Close to everything I need, but that also means city noise doesn't go away. All in all, it's a place I'd stay at again.
Stupendous
Wonderful
In the center of SYDNEY
Great location in the heart of the CBD. Super close to Pitt St Mall. Rooms were nice and clean. I'd definitely stay again.
Excellent. Always well-kept. The service is superb, true professionals. The best in Sydney. I could go on and on but I end with a simple thank you.
Awesome, reasonably priced, friendly, clean, central to everything.
Loved it ..very excellent location.. highly recommended
Best location ever
Close to attractions and down town
Staff are really friendly
Fantastic hotel in the heart of the CBD. Recently refurbished rooms and great staff.
Large, comfortable rooms with a big window and good view. The front desk employees were super helpful when checking in. Free WiFi. The attached restaurant has good food for dinner. The breakfast is a pretty tropical hotel food but overpriced. The best thing is the location, the hotel is pretty evenly spaced between Central Station and the Opera House but also close to other restaurants and train stops.
Its a nice hotel. The buffet breakfast is very good, the rooms are nice and clean, as are the access areas. The staff are all excellent and friendly. However. The valet parking advertised is tricky, market street is busy and the areas designated for vehicle drop off was full of taxis. We had to wait a long time in the que at check-in. The beds are nice and soft, but lack support so i woke with a sore back (not serious, fixed itself within an hour or so). The resturaunt for dinner has a convoluted menu, seemly simple but you need to order sides for everything, else if you order a steak, you get a lonely chunk of meat on a plate... but it is a nice chunk of meat. To sum it up, its nice.
Hot food was in short supply when it was my turn, only 1 chicken skewer was
left in the warmer. A few more tongs were needed.
Charged my credit card several times and had to call 10 times to get it fixed, rooms and room service was terrible, pick another hotel
Excellent central location, friendly helpful service, good room (in its price range) and facilities. Drop off and pickup is tricky in peak hours if you have a car and don't use the valet parking. I will probably use them again.
Went for high tea. It was very good quality with a large range of sandwiches and pastries.
The pizza I got from the bar wasn't that great. $27 for a full sized pizza where the crust didn't taste authentic and the toppings were few wasn't worth it.
I took my mum to the spa there last week for her birthday and the girls were amazing. Made us feel calm and relaxed and our treatments were excellent! We were falling asleep with how relaxed it was. They even brought out little chocolate cakes to sing happy birthday and we didn t expect it. Overall experience was great and I would go back 100%
As a five star hotel this was a disappointing offering in Sydney. The room was tiny, the ceiling was very low, and the bed was very lump and I could even feel the springs. I like to stay in a hotel with my partner for some luxury I don't have at home. This hotel was not that. The barman was rude when my partner asked if the bar was still open, and replied with a snappy "no". The room amenties were average. Robes were thin and cheap, the toiletries were more like a cheap motel. The pillows smelt of feet. We have sampled other city hotels and have felt welcomed and special, but this hotel's staff did their job with no warmth or enthusiasm. Was very disappointed.
Went there to have high tea. Must say wasn't as good as the first time I went
Very nice room, big and comfy bed. Lovely staff and great place to have a few drinks before you go out
I took my mum there for breakfast this week, whilst I was eating my toast my mum yelled at me to stop, the toast that I had half eaten was mouldy, I advised the staff and they didn't seem to show much concern at all except tell me that they would let the chef know. Didn't feel much like eating after that and was charged $84 for a breakfast for 2. Pretty confident I will not be making a return trip.
Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic location, facilities and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and really well equipped. Dropped bag at street level lobby, delivered to my room. Easy check in and out, great restaurant and buffet breakfast.
Very good location, good service and nice buffet for the breakfast.
Location location location, that's what to be considered on choosing a place to stay, and yes this hotel has it. Easy to find restaurants, shopping area, and station.
Me and my family stayed here for a short visit to Sydney and we loved it so much. The check in process at 8th floor was amazing and very fast. The staffs were so friendly and helpful.
As for the room, it was spacious, the amenities was complete, the facilities in the hotel were also nice especially the hot pool and the handy in the room. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. Hair dryer and iron were provided. Overall, I'm so satisfied with this hotel. The building and the interior is looking old, and even though it is in a busy and crowded area, my quality of sleep here was superb.
Great service with staff who can cater to all your needs. Polite and professional with great people skills. Room was amazing and house keeping was equally amazing. 5 stars for my first time in Swissotel Sydney Will deffinitly stay there again and highly recommended
Beautiful and great service. The high tea was so delicious. Perfect!
The Venu was nice, staff were nice, however I thought the door handles to enter the restrooms were very low. I had to bend down a lot to reach them and I'm not a very tall person. Overall besides that small bit it was a great experience
Lovely room. Friendly team. Great central location. Will stay again
Modern, spotless rooms with great amenities and facilities. Staff very helpful. Central location. Highly recommended.
Excellent stay at this hotel last night.
Very welcoming staff, lovely room with a very cool view of the Sydney Tower, the Cathedral and the bay beyond.
I would happily stay here again.
Rooms were nice, however hotel bar on level 8 was very disappointing. I ordered 2 drinks & both times had to wait half an hr + to receive them. Had to ask & remind staff a number of times what my order was
Super stoked with our experience at Swissotel. Room was great (love that shower) and service is outstanding. Special thanks to the concierge team for making us feel like royalty.
The location of the hotel is sensational. The view of the harbor and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel are - if you have a room on this side - better than a room there. The breakfast is rich, the rooms clean and modern. The service is a bit impersonal. But certainly one of the best hotels in the city.
If you enjoy hearing people talk laugh and scream while you are trying to sleep then this is the hotel for you. What 5 star hotel does not have sound proof doors? This one apparently. There was a group of Canadian students on my floor who were continually walking up and down the hallway laughing and screaming after 11pm. I won't be staying here again
Regarding high tea, I would've liked to have liked more dishes to choose from
An absolutely amazing place to stay.
Wonderful food and high quality service.
Would love to stay again soon!!
