Swissotel Sydney Review

Stayed overnight after our wedding. We got a free upgrade and champagne. Great breakfast as well. Good hotel.

Beautiful hotel, and kind, helpful staff. Just don't eat or drink in the lobby if you can help it. The people there have no idea how to run a restaurant or bar. You will wait up to a half hour for a cup of water. You won't get your food as the same time as your companions. They only bring one dish out at a time, and you won't get your plate til your friend's done eating. Slow even bringing a beer to your table... It's ridiculous.

I stayed in this hotel up to 2 nights. Friendly staff, very comfortable bed and pillows, amazing stunning room. Very enjoyable, great location in the middle of CBD close to everything you need, no complaints at all. Thumbs up

No hotels in Australia can compare with the hotels in Asia. This Swissotel is located conveniently in the heart of the city, it is apparently a 4.5 stars hotel, we got the business suite and it was barely a 3 stars. Not to mention that none of the hotel in Asia provides toothbrush.

Expensive hotel that is NOT worth the money. Location is great the rooms are uncomfortable and there is not even a coffee pot in the room. Can t compare to the QT that we stayed in the night before! Lesson learned won t stay at a Swissotel again

Nice hotel in a good location. We only spent one night but it was modern and very comfortable. The restaurant offers a good selection and was reasonably priced.

Paid extra to have 3 beds in the room. That was not organised by the time I came back to my room 6 hrs later. When I called front desk, they did not have this marked on their paperwork. A little disappointed with how disorganised they were

Hotel is good. Staff friendly. The room I stayed at the club floor was decent in size, recently renovated and clean. I appreciated the decently stocked minibar and the free Nespresso coffee. Bed was comfortable with good quality linen. Location is very central. I would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful service from the friendly staff. I can't speak highly enough. Room is comfortable, clean and in very good condition. Excellent central CBD location.

Great location for shopping, modern and clean rooms.

The lifts literally take 15 minutes each time. Ridiculous.

Service was excellent, they managed to give us early check in, and the best part they surprised us with a bottle of wine as our honeymoon gifts. Very sweet of them and will choose to stay in Swissotel again!

Our stay here was great, and the room and hotel ambience set the bright tone for a fun weekend.

I love that this place is so family friendly. It has rooms that are designed specifically for kids. Love how spacious it is, clean and well-maintained. The view is amazing! Overall the place looks for elegant. The staff were nice and friendly as well. Hope to be back again with my family. The kids loved it here! I highly recommend the place

The service and guest rooms are above the standard and the location is also good.

Concierge were accommodating, room was contemporary and sophisticated. facilities and amenities were clean and the staff working here are extremely professional and outgoing. Really enjoyed our stay thank you

The rooms were very spacious. Very modern. The only downsides for us was the car parking.

Great location. Comfy bed and their bathroom is well decorated! Plus they were able to make our room available way earlier than we expected!!!

Lovely spacious room. We had breakfast included as part of our accommodation package and it was lovely. The lady who served at is breakfast was fantastic, she seemed to be able to preempt our needs which is very helpful when trying to juggle a coffee and a toddler.

Love this hotel. Great position and fabulous staff. I wish I could remember the young concierge's name - nothing was too much trouble for him and he remembered us from a visit a few weeks before.

The best CBD hotels are well-connected and most of the attractions are within walking distance and the underground railway. Moreover, shopping shopping is very convenient and satisfying.

The experience was great, the hotels were very clean and spacious. Food was fabulous and location was central to everywhere in the CBD. Service was very fast and good, I recommend these hotels.

Love coming here for nice dinners at the JPB Restaurant or for High Teas on the weekend.

I attended a team building exercise, the facility is a bit old and air cond a bit weak. Services is good but would be better if tea and coffee still available in afternoon.

A very well located central CBD hotel, walking distance to major shops and attractions. Comfortable and generous rooms decorated in a calm and relaxed conservative style. Close to the City Circle train line. The executive lounge needs some improvements in terms of decor, food and service.

Room was good and decent price. All amenities are nice. Restaurant fondue was so good but the staff sucked, took AGES for the food to come out and I basically had to scream to get their attention. It's like they were ignoring us on purpose.

Excellent hotel. Right in the heart of Sydney and easy to get anywhere.

This was my first time staying at this concept and I wasn't very impressed. My suite was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. My shower had black mold in it, which is a big cleanliness issue for me! I received access to the lounge and was impressed with the spread. However, there were always flies near the pastries. The staff were always very friendly and personable, which I appreciated!

Service 5 star, rooms 4 star at the most. Some rooms run down and old fantastic location + great breakfast.

Love staying at Swissotel right in the heart of Sydney. Easy access to everything.

So 1st review for this trip, i just landed after an 8 hour flight and on my way in to check in. So phoned the hotel to see if theres anything they can do in the meantime yo speed up the check in process. But connection was bad and I couldn't hear anything from the other end.
Fyi, I just talked to someone else on the phone and worked perfectly so, trouble shooting on my end ticked n no issue found.
Concierge was too busy on the phone to notice any guests coming in n help with luggage...
Hence, heres rating for checkin experience....

Convenient place. Very close to st james station n Sydney tower. Rooms r clean n spacious.

Was very nice. The bed was huge and comfortable. But I only spent my nights there. The staff were very nice. The elevators were really annoying though

Very odd layout for the hotel as the street level is not the front desk level but overall a nice neat compact high end hotel, the market St doorman was nice

Nicely decorated very small rooms. Good location. Staff were not overly welcoming. Need to take two seperate elevators to get from street to room, so time consuming to get in/out. They were also very slow to arrive. Excellent view from our room (it was on the corner of the building). Not a bad hotel for the price.

I went for a spa and massage package offer at the Swissotel. Overall it was a really great experience, the massage was great along with their facilities. The sauna and showering facilities were high quality.

The outdoor pool was a little small but nicely heated with comfortable deck chairs for lounging. The spa was a little bad as it had some soap scum and other things floating in it, that was the only negative. We just avoided the spa.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The package deal came with a glass of wine and some chocolate strawberries, both delicious.

Great facilities, lovely staff, not nearly as stupidly protentious as some nearby hotels, however food is unexciting and I think I got a neck injury during a massage

I was there for a massage treatment at the spa. staff were friendly and provided professional services. it's a very busy hotel but I think the services were very prompt.

Check in was easy and fast, and they welcomed me back as I had stayed previously. Rooms are clean and discuss, with the little luxuries you expect of a five star hotel. Wonderful location on the top of the Pitt St mall.

Went here for a spa day. Treatments were really good and reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly
