The best wings in town, must try honey garlic with ranch and salad. Offcourse the quarter chicken meal with the delicious Swiss chalet signature sauce, makes my tastebuds go watery.
Also, this place seemed to be very clean and the employees were all very friendly and caring. The food and the experience was enjoyable!!!

This location was not very good. My friend had the ribs and they were dry. He found out later that they had up sold him the back rib instead of the side rib. They didn't even ask if he wanted the side or the back. My other friends vegetables were not even cooked. My order was bad too... I had the chicken sandwich with gravy - its supposed to come on bread but they gave it on a Kaiser roll instead. They didn't even say anything and thought we wouldn't notice. They didn't tell us they were out of bread. The lady working there also dropped something - and she did clean up but the floor was still damp, their own worker almost slipped on it trying to serve the table behind us.My friend almost slipped on the way out too. We addressed all these concerns to the Manager who offered us only 1 dessert for the whole table. (Which is why I won't leave a 1 star review). When we asked to speak to the manager again at the end of our meal it took more than 15 minutes for the waitress to return for the credit card machine.

On another occasion for delivery they forgot to include the chalet sauce. I had to wait for the driver to re-deliver the sauce and by the time I ate it it was cold. And the roll... if you they ran out of one you want (whole wheat in this case) the just put the other one. They should definitely ask prior to making substitutions for the customer. Sadly this will be my last time at this location as my friends were severely disappointed and refuse to go there anymore.

Swiss Chalet is usually pretty good but this location seems to be slacking hard.

While the location doesn't have much visual/aesthetic appeal, the quality and attentiveness of the service more than makes up for it. (A big thank you to our waitress, who catered to our needs, as well as those of our exhausted and grumpy toddler.)

Family-friendly, breastfeeding-friendly, and just generally friendly. Change tables in both men's and women's washrooms.

Conveniently located within walking distance of many popular attractions (CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Harbourfront).

I usually never do reviews however, this place is absolute trash. I have been to many Harvey's/Swiss Chalet restaurants and by far this place must be the worst. I usually try not to go here however when I am in a rush this is the nearest restaurant available. The only reason I have given this place a 3/5 star rating is because of this girl that works there. She is super sweet and calm and always knows how to treat the customers right. Unfortunately, I do not know her name as she no longer works at the cashier, I now see her at the grill. She is a very tall and lean girl, for anyone who wants to go here, I highly recommend to ask her to help you out. Otherwise, everybody else is completely rude and do not care about how they treat you.

This place is in a nice area right beside the water front. It's never busy which we like during day work hours. Staff is nice. This SC is a lot better than the one in Mississauga (Burnhamthorpe and Erindale road). This place just renovated their front to include a Harvey's express.

Nothing to rave about. Service wasnt great at the Dufferin mall location. The lady took 20 mins to take my order. The food was standard. I tried this place out because of Scene points. Going to save them for a movie!

They ruined my love for Swiss Chalet. Entered 30 minutes before close and the kitchen called it a day?!?! I have never been to a chain restaurant where they just decide to close the kitchen early and refuse customers. Ridiculous...I was very upset and the staff were very rude during this situation.
Two stars is sympathy for still having great food when they actually serve it...

The cleaning is far from to be perfect. Pretty slow serving.
The food quality also doesn't inspire.
Poor choice of beers.
But anyway, our server was amazing and really tried to do her best! Even brought small cute gifts to the kids as slowness compensation. :)
Yeah, still this restaurant is much better option than any fast-food a-la MacD and similars with the classic "junk food".

Service was good. But sadly the food is really bad. Oily fries, chicken tasted like plastic and the gravy was honestly the worst I've had in my live. We left 75%of the food untouched. We ate the salad and half back ribs. We were really disappointed of this place. I would not recommend it.

I've always been an avid Swiss Chalet goer especially being an employee back in the day but this location really disappointed during the 65th anniversary event. We requested to sit on the patio because it was such a nice day; the man at the door said to go out, grab any table, and menus would be sent out to us shortly.

The only table available to fit four was dirty. We sat down regardless and just piled the glasses up in one spot. Servers came in and out to tend to other tables until my friend had to get up to grab someone's attention inside after 20 minutes. We still didn't get menus, another guest from another table had to pass theirs to ours and our table was left unwiped during our stay. Decided to suck it up and just order because every other establishment along the Habourfront had a wait to sit. We all had our orders ready but turns out a lot of the regular menu items weren't offered because of the anniversary (asked for chicken club wrap, caesar salads, malt vinegar) and stuck with the $6.50 offer for the Quarter White with fries.

The food was great as always but the service dampened the experience. We got that it was busy especially with the anniversary but damn, it was disappointing.

I was here for dinner the other day with the wife and kid. It took us 2hrs to complete out meals. It was so slow. The waitress was nice but we had to constantly wait. The restaurant was not busy nothing came at the same time. We were expecting a quick meal to get home and put the kid to bed. It was have been much faster to go buy a chicken and orast it ourselves. We will not be back.

I live by this Swiss Chalet and have had quite a few meals here in the last few years. Mostly take/out. I'm not fussy at all when it comes to food but on Sunday I've noticed a pattern, the staff sucks. Two Sunday's now I've had to eat take out for dinner. Last Sunday I ordered the hot rotisserie beef meal with fries and veggies. The fries were stale and hard. The beef was all fat and literally a pool of oil in the container that solidified and turned white. Horrible. Today, I order the same meal and asked to make there's less fat as possible in the meat and strain the oil with fresh French fries. I get home and there's no fat in my sandwich but they gave me one slice of beef AND the fries were stale. Out of rage I call them and prepared to show up. The manager negotiates with me he'll give me and settles at $7 credit on a $15 meal. Horrible.

Spent the entire day at Centreville and we were exhausted. We stopped in to this location to get a quick bit to eat. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and immediately seated. Our waitress Amoy was so incedible!! she was swift with the order, refills on drinks were immediate. The chicken was so flavourful and the sauce thick and rich, exactly how it should be. Every other Swiss Chalet wwe have been to has had watered down tepid sauce. this was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this location btu especially recommend Amoy as a server , she is AMAZING!!! <3

Terrible delivery driver after waiting more then 2...

Terrible delivery driver after waiting more then 2 hours for food. Don't order from this store because you might get the same diver. I still see him working in my building sometimes.

My wife ordered some dinner online and like we usually do I paid online. After an hour I called the store to make sure things were going ok. To my surprise, whoever answered the call was upset before I even got past telling them my order number. Then very loudly told me that they can't help, it's not their fault, and a some other things that didn't make much sense and hung up on me. I check where the store was located and it was not my usual store, the one my order was sent to and I called was 346 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S.

Still wondering where our dinner was, and my nine month pregnant wife getting more upset, I called your call center number. The agent there took some time to even find my order, then kept putting me on hold. My guess is she put be on hold to create a new order and send it to a different store, because when she same back said my order was already corrected and the new store (266 Queens Quay W, Toronto, ON M5J 1B5) was on the way with it, the funny thing was I got an new email order after that call. She must have punched in the new order when I was on hold, then tried to pretend it was already ok and food would be there soon.

About 2hrs now and the delivery driver was here. Only took an online order and 30min on the phone over 3 or 4 phone calls.

The driver asked for payment, I told him that first, I paid online, and second the delivery should be free anyways. It turned into an argument, and I guess he was also in a bad mood because he called the call center and started telling them I was pushing him. He kept staying this over and over very loudly, my only guess is that it was his way of trying to make me pay for my meal. I live in a Condo and do not need a delivery driver causing a scene in my hallway when all my neighbors can hear. I told him to leave and closed the door on him.

Still had a pregnant wife at home with no dinner and over 2 hours passed.

Yesterday around 9 pm, we entered the restaurant. We were seated and our orders were taken. It took 30 minutes for the server to finally tell us that they ran out of chicken for our order. They wasted our time especially on a Sunday night, where we could have dined elsewhere. There is no attentiveness by the server or bartender as the drinks were also served wrong. If they didn t want any customers to dine, they should have closed the restaurant early or told them that they don t have chicken.

Their only solution to fixing the issue was providing left over crispy chicken. They served this at 9:45, and told us that we only have 10 minutes to eat. We arrived one hour before closing time, and there weren t many people in the restaurant either. Our only option was to pack the chicken and go home. This was horrible service, a terribly run restaurant , and needs a lot of improvement in their customer service.

If I could rate them a zero I would. We waited for an hour to be seated, no one acknowledged we were waiting, tables were filthy, I called management to complain about conditions and the wait he told me there is nothing he can do and walked away. I just walked out and went across the street

Chicken was overcooked, fries were hard or too soggy just a huge letdown. Won't be coming back here. Edit.. have been contacted by the store about my experience. Will update after they speak with me. Right now they get a extra star for service akd trying to do the right things

I can't exactly say honestly how my meal was because. ...... I NEVER GOT IT! I have had delivery to this address multiple times before without having this issue. In the past their delivery has been crappy at best (cold food, wrong order, forgot drinks etc..) and I have not said a word because I'm not that type but I will say this; for the money you are far better off walking down to the nearest corner restaurant and giving them your business. They deserve it more. I will NEVER AGAIN eat Swiss Chalet. Not just from this particular location but I've been disappointed far too many times to ever waste a cent in their establiment again.

This location is probably fine when they aren't understaffed. Apparently they go woefully understaffed occassionally... also the worst draft (Canadian) I have ever tasted.
The new poutine is ok.. nothing special. The portion wasn't as large as I'd hoped. Would be normal $10 poutine elsewhere

Clean Swiss Chalet location. Love their rotisserie chicken and fries. I always swap out the Swiss Chalet sauce with regular gravy! I know it's blasphemy but I'm old fashioned and I like the brown gravy.

They got 3 out of 3 meals wrong... my daughters burger was not properly cooked and we froze every time someone opened the door as there was no vestibule. Just 1 door to the street. Will NEVER go there again.

My sons ribs were dry and black, my moms baked potato was hard and cold on the inside, my sisters chicken pot pie was burnt on top AND my toddler was served a frozen pizza! The server forgot to bring my childs milk. Oh and the buns...oh my gosh the buns. I can just keep going. I am never going back to this location. Only thing they got going for them here is the chicken and gravy.

I usually dine at this location twice a week; I have never experienced less than high quality of food and service. In my last visit I had been served by a very knowledgeable server who told me about Swiss Chalet chicken and fries story. She was proudly saying that Swiss Chalet chickens are fresh (never frozen), hand based, and roasted for 90 minutes every single day. I was also impressed that Swiss Chalet serves fresh (never frozen) fries; they buy the 50 pound sacks peel them, chop them and fry them in house in a daily bases . WOW, isn't a story worth telling? This location is one of the best restaurants in the area, without doubt, deserves your time and money.

Always decent food and value, what you would expect from Swiss Chalet.
However, this location is always terribly under-staffed. Tables with empty dishes, nobody seats you for 5 Min+ because all the available table still have things on them.
Unfortunately, this is consistent at this location.

Just moved to Toronto and decided to try Swiss Chalet after hearing recommendations about another branch. The service was unfriendly and rushed, even though there was only 1 other customer in line. The food was bland and overpriced. Part of the order was forgotten until we noticed and came back to remind. Real disappointment, worst experience in Toronto so far.

The waitress at this location stole from a child! Have low can you be. Guess the 20% tip was not enough. Enter this location with leap pad in hand, ate and was in a hurry and left it behind. Only ones eating at the location and no other servers. Got onto the ttc, notice we left it and headed back right away with thought we would get it back. Nope, saying she cleaned the area and did not find it (impossible fact). Was in shock that she actually took it and not giving it back. Was outraged, she actually stole it. Child cried as she has had it for 4 years. Words cant even express this poor service!!!

So swiss chalet has always been a staple for a quick, good meal. I understand that this is now a hugely run corporate company but customer service should always be good.

The girl operating the cash was clueless. I gave her a coupon which she read, put in the till and then asked me what i wanted. I said I want what is on the coupon. She said she didn t read it. Ridiculous.

Then i asked for a small cup of TAP water and was told they had to charge me for it. This has to be a joke right? Someone train these people. As I have to blame management for this nonsense. Get it together.
