Suzhou marriott hotel Review

Room is a bit small but the bathroom is spacious, I had a nice bath during my stay. Staffs are very friendly!

Hotel is about 145 km from Pudong International airport and 35 Km from Wuxi Shuofang Airport . Conveniently located in Ganjiang Road and a line 1 subway that is about 7-8 mins walk from Hotel.
Standard of service in hotel has dropped significantly with varying level of staff competency . The lounge service remains excellent . Food at breakfast never change over the years and service left much to be desired .
Hotel is older , but generally rooms are cleaned and housekeeping are generally good though may miss some toiletries but they would replenish it quickly with a call.
Options for the price range hotel is plentiful in Suzhou that are new and better amenities .

What makes this hotel better than any others in the area is the staff. They constantly go out of their way to help you with any request and are the most genuinely friendly staff i have ever encountered.

SUZHOU MARRIOT HOTEL; A hotel where we really felt welcomed and at home. The staff were all delightful, they could not have been more kind and helpful. The room was very well designed and serviced to a very high standard. Best of all the food, breakfast and evening buffet, in the Club Lounge was served hot the first time in a lengthy trip around China. All in all a hotel to be highly recommended.

A full hotel, excellent gym, pool, excellent food in the restaurants. Great service, very friendly staff and cuts. Generally expected from a Marriot and more.

I stayed in this hotel for one week in May 2017. This is an excellent hotel. Food was great, lot of options provided in the complimentary breakfast. I have tried all the restaurants. Staff members were courteous and helped me to arrange taxi for my commute. Rooms are neat and clean with big bathroom.

Overall, this hotel is cost-effective, and the surrounding commercial and dining facilities are perfect.

Great hotel, I just experienced one night stay at this hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The view from my room 2901 was beautiful, city view. I would stay at this hotel more nights if I got chance to visit Suzhou again.

We booked a deluxe room through booking, when we made check in asked for upgrade of the room. The hotel charged twice more for upgrade and gave us the same room, that was booked, then when we asked why they charged so much, they answered that for 2 nights there was a deposit 270 usd, though there was none information about the deposit on booking . The mini bar was empty, there is no jacuzzi in the room, the window is small and thus the view from the very top level doesn't matter. One of the restaurants for breakfast doesn't work. The managers at the reception speak poor English. We ordered a plate of fruit to the room, and none was delivered, they just forgot about it. The hotel itself is quite old, the room is ok for 3-4 stars, it is quite small. It is anyway not a five star hotel and service is very poor.

If you want a central hotel in Suzhou, the Suzhou Marriott is your best option. The hotel is nice, and the staff is so friendly. The only 2 comments are: elevators were horribly slow and the f&b outlets were limited.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant, reception, lounge all.
The rooms are very clean, the atmosphere is luxurious and the views are good.
Breakfast is available in both Western and Chinese style, so foreigners can enjoy it casually. Although I prefer Chinese style.
The fitness center, swimming pool and sauna are all well equipped for leisure and exercise. Especially well equipped sauna and very clean.
The next time you come to Suzhou, you will definitely come here.

Good hotel with spacious and clean rooms, swimming pool, gym and restaurants. Friendly, helpful and good English speaking staff. Excellent airport service with Pudong. Unfortunately no restaurants or shopping malls in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The price is quite high, I like the hotel's swimming pool and gym. The hotel is also very good, very friendly, and the parking charges are quite reasonable.

I went to Suzhou to meet a Chinese friend two months ago.
Guanqian St (Shan ) and Shantang St ( ) are located in the vicinity of , so it's a good place to go sightseeing. It's only a few kilometers away, so it's hard to walk, so we recommend taking a bus or taxi.
-There is no convenience store or market nearby.

Stayed at the Suzhou Marriott after originally booking the Aster only to arrive and realize there was no A/C! Pleasant experience, extremely helpful staff, enjoyed the stay here.

The first time I came to Suzhou, the scheduled Marriott, the telephone billing arrangements have been completed. I have to use the computer to arrange the use of the 48th floor. It is very good.
The service is very good. When everyone sees you, they will smile and say hello. If you touch your finger, you want Zhang Jianke to not only send it, but also ask if you want to disinfect the iodine. It is also very good.
The size of the room is ok, the window can see the sunrise early in the morning, and the cleaning is relatively clean. I just think that the pillow doesn't seem to fit very well... everything else is fine.
Breakfast is OK, there are freshly cooked noodles, except for steamed buns.

The hardware facilities are not bad, there is a gym (can exercise). The most impressive thing is that all the service staff are very friendly and friendly, so the service is perfect. Breakfast is relatively unpredictable, but it is ok. There aren't many shops nearby, there is a cafe and a small shop next door downstairs, you can buy a small thing to eat.
