Quite literally one of the worst technical jobs in Windsor. Staff are paid whatever the company can get away with. Raises mostly come with minimum wage increases and competitors entering the scene with higher wages. Clientele are extremely abusive and the pace is accelerated to the point that most are drained mentally by the end of the day. Having experience in a similar field elsewhere I can safely say that working here is as close to modern day slavery as you can get. Job is especially bad if you have any foreign accent since American callers will constantly make racist and condescending comments about other ethnicities.

This place is truly dreadful. They hold you to such unrealistic standards and then are surprised when agents are completely drained at the end of the day. The management themselves are imbeciles, they yell at agents to get sales while 90% of customers calling in have no interest whatsoever in getting DirecTV. There are people constantly coming in and out of the department doors. The turnover rate is extremely high. Ultimately, the management wants you to quit so they can try to steal some of your commission that you worked so hard for. It's revolting.

This is a very easy job, as in if you can read and talk you can work here easily. I was there for 2 years and I never had a problem with management and always enjoyed interacting with them.

However I am giving this place 4 stars due to their compensation practices, employees should be compensated more when moved up to a position with more responsibilities.

I am aware of employees that have been there for years, have experience in almost every department and are in a supervisor or "escalations" position making almost the same as new hires. I don't blame management for this, I understand the ease of working here means the market for potential hires is massive and the "nesting" practice creates a revolving door effect in which employees will do the training, the nesting and then leave with little to no notice.

However I feel that the ones that stay for longer should be getting much more to ensure that they actually stay. I can't imagine how constantly hiring new people in batches of 20 at a time is cheaper than paying committed individuals more.

Terrible Terrible place to work. I had the WORST time. I was going to quit 3 months in but I got moved to AT&T's UFO department at the time it was still there and that helped me stick around. The fact that the AT&T Technicians we're more friendly then the ACTUAL MANAGERS at Sutherland made me stay. I can count on my fingers how many managers were actually good. And that's not very many.

I struggled with being sick from my mental health & anxiety issues due to this place & I brought in doctors notes each and every sickness & i still lost my job. They we're not caring or compassionate at all.

This was back in 2015, I haven't been back since & I don't plan on it. I'm not sure what has changed there, but it doesn't seem like anything has changed at all from reading the reviews.

The worst job experience ever! I hated every minute of it. The supervisors were obnoxious and rude. If youre planning on working there, I guarantee you wont last 3 months. Not too mention, they're liars. They lied to me about my commission pay. I worked for over 3 months and didnt see one commission cheque. #Sufferland #Scammerland

This place is a time pass to get your permenant residence or make some money. If you can change part time do it. Bad management as they promote wrong people. Pay is not enough for the job. Work for ESPN+ as its the easiest. Other agents are mostly nice people.

I received a signature by Vedran Dabic (AT&T Mobility Manager) underlying that I would receive my commission upon resignation . I have not received anything thus far. There is rampant deception at Sutherland Windsor and the turnover rate is supportive of this accusation.

Worst place to work in Windsor!
No employee loyalty because they know how to take advantage of Windsor's high unemployment rate!
Their Motto is: Keep Firing and Keep Hiring!

You will get fat, and depressed working here. Customers are super abusive and the expectations by the company's clients are ridiculous demanding. They will hire anyone for a reason. The people that quit during training are the smartest, stay away from this place.

Not a recommended place to work

Not a recommended place to work
The area is full of crimes, management is terrible, they will give you any reasons for you to quit or be terminated (which is why they're always hiring)

One word: terrible. If you are hired for any program other than Uverse, it will be the same garbage treatment. The previous posts are absolutely spot on especially about the 'security guard' waiting outside of HR. Working in here is like working with a bunch of liar zombies. Stay away from this place. They will also lie about the length of training for other programs they have. You will feel like you are in a jail with many of the co-workers as well. I don't know how some of these people who work in management sleep at night -- they don't if you look at their blood shot and saggy eyes, puffing on cigarettes outside like chimneys.

Worked for almost a year for the Uverse program. Had good and bad experiences but always something to learn. Pays well ($13/hr) for a job that doesn't require much skills. Co-workers and team leads are really friendly and will always help you out.

I worked here before. I have 4 years experience in a call center. I had just started at Sutherland a couple years ago and my stats were excellent! One of my programs wasnt working yet so I couldn't view my schedule or even deal with internet. Now I asked them everyday to fix that and it never got fixed. Rhere was a shift bid and I thought I would try to get the shift I wanted but because I was new I was told I probably wouldn't get it, well I ended up getting it cuz my stats were 100% just had to work on handle time. I didnt know that my schedule changed, no one told me so here I was going on days off and not working on days I should have been there because I was going by my original schedule and because of that they fired me! I told HR what happened and it didnt matter. They lost a good asset to the company.

Not sure if anything has changed since most of the reviewers in here worked there but, I made it past the nesting phase and been with my team for over a week now. They have been nothing but accommodating to me and my anxiety issues. I have missed so many days, I should be fired. They literally would come to me throughout the day, to see how I was. They even offered to give me an extra break if I started having a panic attack. They also said I could cut my hours down from 9 a day, to 5. All without a note from my doctor. They legitimately seemed to care. I quit yesterday because it's not worth my mental health. And my team manager still wants me to come in and talk through it, AFTER I QUIT. If they are faking, then handout the Oscars! The job can be stressful and is not for everyone. Definitely if you deal with any sort of anxiety issues. They will skyrocket and fast. Also, never met a person I didn't get along with. We had music always playing, people cheering, games to play for extra money. I will miss it, but like I said, it is definitely NOT for everyone. Also, the turnover rate there is insane! My class of 18 now has 4 or 5 people left. They are ALWAYS training. The class behind mine that is nesting is down to like 9 already. Also, the American customers can be the worst. Very entitled and racist.

One of the worst places I have ever worked in. Company is filled with bunch of liars and scammers. Should be renamed Suckersland or Scumsland or Sufferland or Shittersland. I worked for AT&T U-verse wreck support bs for one month and got laid off at the end of nesting based on my performance by the manager. The coaches during the training lied that the knowledge checks will not get you fired nor will first calls during training. Only attendance can get you written up is what the fake coaches said which is BS. The Coaches were saying I was doing fine and it will take time to learn. They will fire you if you don't get 90% in your knowledge checks or you don't do your calls perfect during training and nesting. And after they give you the termination sheet, there is security officer punk standing outside the manager to make sure you leave as soon as possible. They treat you like ex-cons when they fire you. If it weren't for the 13$/hr, no one would want to work at that bs place.
