My experience at Suski has always been a good one....

My experience at Suski has always been a good one. Each time I go to get my oil changed and tires rotated, everyone has been so nice and helpful. I always bring my laptop just in case its busy but I know more get on the internet, my care is done. Actually, I had a later appointment this last time and still was impressed how soon they got my oil changed. Thanks everyone and keep up the good work.

We were traveling from Livonia to Harbor Springs and stopped at Birch Run for some shopping when we noticed our tire was losing air fast. Pulled in to the service dept and was initially told there was a bunch people in front of us and it would take 3 hours or so to get the tire fixed. Thanks to the service manager he was able to get us back on the road in about 1 hour. Super nice people at this location. Thank you.

My experience with Suski Chevrolet has been the worst experience with a dealership hands down. We bought a Pontiac Montana in March of this year. We have previously owned 2 Montana's, loved them and specifically searched for a dealership that had one in stock. Suski had one on their lot, low mileage great exterior/interior and in our budget. WORST MISTAKE EVER! The salesmen were nice enough, slightly pushy but that's to be expected. They offered us the opportunity to purchase a warranty that would cover the van bumper to bumper. Everything was covered, deductible was waved due to the low mileage of car. My husband was hesitant to purchase the warranty through Alpha Warranty Company but with the costs of fixing a car we decided to go ahead and do it.

Everything was great until the end of August. Late one night while driving the heater broke. It was only blowing out freezing cold air. Monday, August 25th I called the service department to schedule an appointment for it to be checked out. I was told that due to the GM recalls they were backed up for weeks and to call back in a few days to set up an appointment. Ok, it's August, I really didn't need my heat. I called back a few days later and was told I could bring my car and wait while the service department checked it out but it could take hours for them to get to it. With 3 kids, I don't have hours to sit around. So my name was put on a waiting list for a rental car and they would call me when one became available. Monday October 21st, almost 2 MONTHS later, the service department could inspect my car! By this time the weather has turned and we have to wear hats, gloves and snow pants to go anywhere because the air conditioning is blowing. I wanted to take the van elsewhere but when I called Alpha Warranty Company, I was told I had to take it to the dealership that we purchased it from. About 3 hours after dropping it off I get a phone call that they inspected the van and figured out the problem but that one part is not listed so it is not covered under warranty and it's going to cost $1,200 to fix it! I call my husband and he tells me to cancel the warranty.

I talk to Dave S in financing, he is the person who originally wrote up our contract and warranty purchase back in March. He told me he was going to get this covered, he was going to do everything he could to find out why it wasn't being covered. Gave me his personal cell number, told me to call or text anytime to find out what was going. I thought AWESOME, after 2 months of getting the run around from this place, I'm finally getting someone who cares. WRONG. Every time I texted Dave, he was always figuring things out, waiting on phone calls or emails, telling me " that there was a "disconnect" between the service department and the warranty company but it looks like they are going to cover it" Never a straight answer from him. I called a few times and left messages but never had my phone calls returned. Finally on November 10th I went into the dealership to turn in the cancellation form. Dave S told me that he didn't know why they weren't covering it, they had told him already they were. He would call one last time and see if he could figure it out. I wasn't holding my breath. He then proceeded to tell me that it didn't matter one way or another if I cancelled the policy, he wasn't going to lose any money on it personally. I was livid and needed to get out of there as soon as I could. Friday the 14th I texted him that I had not heard from him or Alpha Warranty Company and he said that Unfortunately there was some sort of disconnect (AGAIN? REALLY?) between the warranty company and the service department and that he was processing my cancellation request right then. I asked him to please email confirmation and have yet to receive that. After the horrible ordeal I have had with Suski Chevrolet, I wouldn't expect anything less.

I called Jen in Service right before they were closing for the night. I had some issues with our new Malibu. She got all the information needed and called me back first thing the following morning, letting me know I can bring in the car for repair and a rental will be provided. Could not ask for better service. And Mark Zyber in Sales is my go to guy, 3 Leases in 4 years and he always goes out of his way to keep the customer happy. I highly Recommend giving Suski a Try for your next vehicle or Service needs

Dave Stacey was outstanding...went the extra mile ...

Dave Stacey was outstanding...went the extra mile to get the job done when other dealers failed to do so !!! As a military retiree I appreciate Dave's friendly direct, no non-sense business approach. He valued my time and made the most of every contact we had. These traits will serve Dave and Suski Chevrolet well in the future !!!

Last Friday, I made a service appointment for 9am ...

Last Friday, I made a service appointment for 9am today, Tuesday, and when I arrived at 8:40 I wasn't in their computer. It turned out not to be a big deal as I was taken in and told I would receive a call when they had further information. Inside of 20 minutes they called. I expected the results I was given but disappointed that even though I bought the vehicle from this dealership, my service issue was apparently an aftermarket issue and couldn't be repaired here. I have not modified the vehicle in any way with regards to my service issue today, so disappointment that even though the vehicle came with the product, the dealership could not fix it.

On the positive side, there was no charge for evaluating my service issue. That alone will be motivation enough for me to return for further service with this vehicle!!!

I bought my vehicle from Dave Stacy , then I sent all of my older children to him also for vehicles. They have helped when we have had issues with vehicles, they took care of them right away. Will definitely recommend everyone I know to purchase a vehicle from Suski's in Birch Run.

Body shop does not provide good service or hold th...

Body shop does not provide good service or hold themselves to high standards. Poor quality seems to be their motto. UPDATE after owner response. Its ironic that Suski was given 5 different opportunities to make it right and still failed to do so. Even before I posted this review I asked for my door handle to be repainted and the body shop said there was nothing wrong with it. Then proceeded to buff the handle out instead of repainting it and stating, "it looks even better than before." Its funny that it could look better than before when they previously stated there was nothing wrong with it. My door handle paint still has imperfections in it and was never repainted to fix the problem. It seems as though the body shop does not care if they put out poor work. Thank you for attempting to do something Mr. Suski or whomever responded to my review initially. I would recommend getting new staff in the body shop as I have been told by many people that they no longer use Suski for body repairs.

I bought a used car that turned out to be Canadian. The dealer in Grand Blanc wouldn't let me drive it on the lot, let alone fix it. Suski has taken care of me and my wife 100%. They helped with maintenance on both of our cars, and we recently jad one of our vehicles in the body shop after an accident. The quality of the repair work of the body shop is far superior to any I have seen anywhere else. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND GREAT QUALITY OF WORK.

Suski made my first car buying experience wonderful. This dealership had the vehicle I was looking for and was able to hold the vehicle as I live and work Up North. This is the only dealership that I have come across that cares about customer satisfaction and makes sure that there is complete transparency between sales, vehicles, and customers.

A dealership of scamming scum bags. William Blitz II, AKA Billy, I just call him (The Weasel) screwed me over on a purchase with the full support of his general manager. They put on the act as the good old small-town dealership, but they will put the screws to you in every way possible if not careful especially Billy the weasel . He swore up and down that everything was absolutely excellent on it, no scratched and no repainting and no surprises. To find out it was repainted and multiple major scratched all around. Avoid this dealership at all cost, if forced to buy there for some odd reason, be sure to at least avoid Billy the weasel .

I call TOTAL BS on everything in the owner's response below. Here is why.

owner said: This was a PERSONAL purchase having NOTHING to do with the dealership other than this is where you picked up the motorcycle you purchased from Billy.

BS. I paid the dealership directly on my credit card for the lien you had on it.

Owner said: From our understanding you spend well over an hour test driving and looking at the motorcycle until you made the decision to purchase it.

BS. I was waiting for most of that time for you to get the paperwork done and for your boy weasel to go to the bank to deposit the remainder of the money before i left.

Owner said: Again this was a personal purchase and the dealership had nothing to do with it. Please post accurate facts when you are directly posting to a business.

BS. I paid the dealership manager Jason Davis directly for a portion of the amount I owed. I tried to call him several times over the following several days, left detailed voice mails explaining how your weasel Billy scammed me and that I wanted to either return it or get compensation for the damage he deliberatly painting over and concealed with some cheap marker which I descovered by wipping off with a wet towel once I got it home. As well as for his fraduant claims that it was never repainted and that its in much better shape than it really was. Your manager did not have the decency to call me back to try to resolve the issue. From this and from the other unhappy reviews about you rolling back odometers and scamming people on repairs I conclude: the weasel's behavior is common practice at this scamming dealership.

These guys rock. Bought my Camaro from Billy and couldn't be happier with the experience. They didn't haggle me back and forth at all I was given a bottom line number that was very close to what I was looking for. They also made sure I was comfortable the entire time and when I had to get back home before we finished they went ahead and delivered the car to me. I visited several dealerships before I came here but this place blows all of those out of the water.

I could have bought my Sonic at another dealership, but I chose Suski because a family member referred me to Martin "Marty" Zehnder there. Marty was knowledgeable and friendly, and he helped walk me through the process of buying my car. Marty even dropped my new license plate off at my house and offered to put it on for me. I also had a good experience with other staff at Suski - Nate Warshaw, Todd Moser, Diane Lindahl, Tina Malone, and Elvis in the service department.

MY FAMILY HAS DONE BUSINESS THERE FOR DECADES. THEY WERE A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE COMMUNITY GREATLY. FOR THE EVERY DAY MAINTENANCE THEY ARE GOOD. SERVICE IS GOOD. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLICATED REPAIR GO ON BY. WE JUST HAD AN EXPERIENCE WHERE THERE WAS A FACTORY SCREW UP IN THE WIRING DRAINING THE BATTERY. HAD TO TAKE TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO DEALER TRADE TO GET A VEHICLE WE NEEDED SO WE HAD TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I could not be happier with my experience!!! I had a dealership I bought 3 vehicles from previously, but dealing with them the last week was a nightmare. I got a recommendation from my parents to try here and every single second of it from start to finish was amazing. I started online, a gal hooked me up with the salesman Stuart, and within a half hour he had found exactly what I wanted and exactly within my price range. A few hours later when I got out of work, I got to the dealership and everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful, a refreshing change from what I had been previously dealing with. Everyone from Stuart to the awesome finance guy to a manager who just came to chat, it was all great! In and out in under an hour, Stuart set everything up in my vehicle for me, so nice. I definitely didn't buy the most expensive vehicle, but every single person there treated me like I did and they have a very happy new customer forever! I recommend them 100% to everyone... buying a new vehicle really sucks sometimes, but not at Suski's and the group they have. If they see this, thank you again, you turned a bad situation around and I am beyond grateful!
