Great service... had an appraisal on a diamond.. i had done a thorough research online regarding diamonds features, optimal dimensions, color, etc.. but Susan takes time to explain various factors that impact quality that you can t find online, and answers any questions you might have..
Also, they have great jewelry selection, totally recommend them..

I am writing this review on the behalf of my grandmother, who really wanted to let people know about the treatment she received while selling her jewelry here. She traveled from Las Cruces to El Paso, just for the purpose of visiting this store to repair a watch band that had broken, and received a rude welcome. The gentleman that helped her told her that it would cost more to fix than it was worth, what a comment to make! Why should he care, perhaps sentimental value should be considered also? I'm told he called her item a piece of costume jewelry, which, needless to say, sent my grandmother out of this establishment with a bad taste in her mouth.

Great and prompt service from Mrs. Eisen and her staff. They were very curteous over the phone and took care of me right away. Will come back always for all of my jewelry and appraisal needs!

Turn around and leave. I went to Susan Eisen jewelers to potentially sell a 14k gold cigarette case for melt and to look for a new watch. The cigarette case came in at 148 grams and Ms. Eisen offered me $1800 dollars. I had previously figured the value was around $3000 as melt and was prepared to bargain and take a mutually beneficial deal. When she made the $1800 offer, she supplied no reasoning or accompanying explanation. It was clear to me that she was being unscrupulous and thought I didn't have any idea of the value of the item. Good jewelers will be straight with people about the value of an item, what they can offer and still turn a reasonable profit, and generally be instructive as to items being sold to them and items they have for sale. None of that going on here. This leads me to believe that Ms. Eisen will not be scrupulous in her selling (as well as buying) and I shelved my intention to look at new watches for sale in her store. I sold the case for melt to U.S. Gold Buyers in Florida for $3072. My advice is to stay away from Ms. Eisen's store.

I brought in a 1960's Rolex Oyster Perpetual to get serviced. The watch now looks brand new and I couldn't be happier. She pays attention to detail and has the best customer service in the business. It was my first time working with Eisen but I will definitely be returning.

In short, thank God for people like Susan Eisen. It is too bad that more businesses do not operate with her level of integrity. She is hands down so far above the rest as to be in a league of her own.

I had two very nice diamond and gold pieces that I could not keep and needed to sell. Several pawn shops offered to only buy the gold and take my diamonds off my hands for nothing. I was not surprised by this tactic, but people should not be expected to give away their diamonds, especially considering how expensive they are when you wish to buy. However, Even a 'reputable' and 'renowned' jewelry shop across the street made me the same insulting offer, and actually, offerred less than any of the pawn shops I had visited, which translated into about 8% of what I had paid for the pieces, rendering all the diamonds worthless. This was just plain dishonest.

While some jewellers made slightly less insulting offers, only Susan Eisen offered anything near fair. Whether buying or selling, if you are looking for real honesty, integrity and fairness with a human face, Susan Eisen is the only game in town.

Ring repairs could not be done. Although Susan Eisen worked for 2 weeks to contact a jeweler who could (New York), she received no response from them. Susan was very informative about the design issues of the ring inlay, and provided options to improve the design if I wished. However, I chose to contact a jeweler in Albuquerque who does similar inlay repairs.
