Susan was very kind and took a last minute appointment with me to help give me piece of mind about my engagement ring diamond. She was very knowledgeable, and made sure that I was on the same page as her when giving me information. I appreciated her showing me my diamond under a microscope so that I could understand details about my specific diamond. I had to bring my 2 small daughters with me, and this store welcomed us all! They even had a "play tray" of small toys that my girls could play with while Susan was talking to me. At the end of our visit my girls got to pick one of the toys to take home with them which made my girls really happy. Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches is an amazing store. I went in to find a specifc custom jewery piece, the classic El Paso Star. Susan showed me the many options and took the time to explain the meanings of many of the beautiful jewelry pieces. I quickly found exactly the gift I wanted for my wife but lingered to enjoy the friendly ambiance and conversation with Susan and others in the store. This was a very enjoyable experience which I'm sure to enjoy again.
My Rolex was purchased there in 1996. Recently took it back for servicing and because of a gold chip on a link. They told me their jeweler found salt water damage ( the watch has never been taken to a beach or lake of any sort) when he opened the gasket and that it will cost 780 for the link, and to fully fix it the total would end up being right under under 2,000 including polishing the gold. That s way too expensive and seems odd that they found salt water damage when it s never been taken to a beach. I m never taking anything there again.
I had a great experience with Susan Eisen. I upgraded my wedding set after 35 years! She was extremely patient and knowledgable and listened to exactly what style I was looking at for my new wedding set. Susan showed me several styles and helped by offering suggestions on how to make it fit my style and taste. My experience with Susan Eisen's establishment was definitely a 5-star one. I left 7 or 8 rings to be resized. Her assistant took a lot of time to discuss the sizing of each ring while he was measuring; moreover, he cautioned me to upgrade my home owners' insurance policy to cover the value of the rings, whose value had increased over the last few years. In addition to the resizing, several small stones were replaced in a ring and my wedding rings are dazzling thanks to their refurbishing of the Florentine finish. The cost was quite reasonable for all this work. Her shop features high-end art as well as custom jewelry; it was a pleasure to view the decorator pieces on display for sale. Susan herself is gracious and outgoing, and her shop and customers are protected by a security door which she activates from inside the shop when she recognizes a customer. -- Carol Beene

My wife and I have found that Susan Eisen is able to get pieces that no other jeweler is able to get. The reason we had visited Susan Eisen for the first time was to see if she had any Omega Bracelets in her inventory, which she did. I purchased a white gold necklace with a tear drop of diamond centered by a pearl overseas on my deployment. I brought the necklace to Susan initially for an appraisal, which was done quickly for the amount of effort that it took, and ended up having the pearl removed to be replaced by a magnificent opal that turned the necklace into something undescribable. Susan and everyone at the store were a true pleasure to work with and talk to.

The first thing you notice when you walk in this store is the GIA certification near the front, and the 15 certificates lining the wall, from the GIA, AGS, and ASA. So I knew this was a place that knew what they were doing and what to look for. She took care of a ring I had brought in, running more than 3x the normal amount of tests to give me a definite answer as to the value of my ring. Even with all this, everything was done in under 2 weeks, and she took the time to carefully explain everything to me in a way I could understand. I d definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for appraisals.
