The Surley taproom is the largest one I've ever been to! I had lunch outside on the patio. I was surprised at how much variety was on the menu- many offerings that I've not often seen, especially at a brewery. I did appreciate that. I had the venison sausage and pork prosciutto. The venison was delicious and flavorful. The prosciutto was adequate, my only lament that the portion was not greater. To drink, I order Surley Rose. I enjoyed it. The reason I give Surley 4 stars is because of the prices. It's more expensive than I was expecting.

Surly was part of the reason we decided to pass through Minneapolis, we weren t disappointed with the beer or the brewery. Great selection of beer and some hard to find options in the tap room that made it even better. We did the facility tour and got to see the day to day operations which was pretty cool as well. Worth going out of the way for.

This place lived up to the hype. It's huge and I already was a fan of their craft beer, but still found some new ones to try. We went upstairs to order pizza and it didn't disappoint. It was a rainy day so couldn't enjoy the exterior, but even in the rain there were many who didn't seem to mind getting wet. If you like craft beer, this place is a must stop.

Good (not great) no-frills food and community dining downstairs ($$). Trendy, wood-fired pizza upstairs (meh). While the beer is generally very good, the pizza ($12 - $15 10 inch) offerings are a bit prescious.
The whole operation lacks the sincerity and enthusiasm of bygone days. Just sell the place to InBev and be done with it.

The beer is phenomenal, and very reasonably priced. They also have a much broader selection of beer than most breweries, which means that you've got a good chance of finding something you'll enjoy. When I've been, the staff has been friendly, and it's always clean and comfortable.

My only real complaint is that the food has been rather hit-or-miss for me. The Surly Burger was a definite miss. For a $12 burger, it was very bland tasting. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Catfish, and a lot of the appetizers/sides have been wonderful. I definitely recommend the skillet cornbread to any cornbread fans.

Love it. Probably my favorite local brew. Food is phenomenal, but pricy. Always packed, always a wait for a table, but airways worth it. I do miss the old smaller brewery, but love that it's becoming nationally popular.

Being a fan of Surly, getting the chance to visit was a dream. The space is absolutely massive, with a great indoor area to eat. We also made our way outside, to the absolutely beautiful back patio area. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious beers, delicious food, and killer atmosphere. Thank you, Surly!!

Wide variety of good beer. Solid and interesting menu to help you enjoy an evening with friends. May have to wait a bit (but you can have a beer while waiting) and parking can sometimes be a challenge. Worth it.

Great spot to come for a game and some drinks! The drinks are pretty good and well-priced. Some of the stuff on this menu is really good. Such good food, such good drinks. Probably the best place to hangout. Everyone at this place is so cheerful. The happy vibe of this place makes it a really good experience.

Surly is a go-to staple in our dining out, especially when friends and family are visiting from out of town. Great beer and food, both in the beer hall and upstairs at the new Surly Pizza, and the staff is always on top of their game. During peak dinner hours, be prepared to wait for a table in the beer hall but there is plenty to hold you over between beer and food upstairs.

Great beer & great place to have it. Beer hall is huge, but somehow always fills up. We finally started getting Surly in Kansas City which is awesome. Great food here as well. Just checked out the Courtney Barnett concert as part of their summer series. They set the area up proper with plenty of drink access and tons of food trucks. Stage faced west which is awesome for the crowd, but sucks for the artists.

Good beer goes without saying, but we really keep going back for the food. The atmosphere is nice too, but we've been impressed with all of our food orders. My girlfriend and I went on a bit of a burger rampage for a few months trying to find the best burgers in the city, and this is in my top 5 that we tried for sure. The charcuterie, mussels, and smoked meats... all delicious, but the BURGER guys. Pair that with your beer of choice (I prefer an axe man, but they're all pretty solid) and you're in for a good time. I have spent many nights at Surly Brew. Not only is their beer fantastic and their food worthy of national recognition from Mr. Guy Fieri himself, but the atmosphere is something for you to find elsewhere in Minnesota. Last night I got a brick oven flat bread pizza. Sure, it's a little expensive but that's basically brewery culture.

This is a brewery staple in my book! The staff has always been friendly. I haven t toured it (yet), but have been here more than a dozen times. They have a great space outdoors in the warmer months.

Not only do they have many rotating taps, the pizza is an amazing addition.

Food regularly changes, so the one page food menu is different from one visit to the next. Did not have beer because I was there at a weekday lunch. On other visits (not lunch, when I could have a beer), the beer was excellent. Server was very attentive and checked back often.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but Surly deserves one. Top 3 pizza in the Twin Cities along with Burch & Black Sheep. If you liked Young Joni, get ready to have an upgraded version here.

Hands down one of the coolest brewery tours I ve ever been on! The tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It ends with sampling 4 beers ANNNND a free drink token for the bar! We stopped down to the bar for our beer and then had an appetizer and a dessert, the giant pretzel and the strawberry torte. Both were AMAZING! Surly was definitely one of the coolest places we ve been.

A mecca of beer. It is a brewery/taproom/restaurant all in one. The decor is a testament to detail and planning. Of note, parking can be a bit tough. Great location otherwise with easy access near the Green Line light rail station.

Our all time favorite!

Our all time favorite!

Amazing beers, with a huge selection and variety. Amazing food as well.

You can't really go wrong here no matter what you order!

Also, the staff here goes above and beyond! We recently got some engagement photos done here and the manager went out of his way to accommodate us and give suggestions.

We absolutely love this brewery, and are constantly reminded why it's our favorite every time we return.
