Great time! Relaxing. Beautiful view of the beach. Romantic.

We stayed in a top floor king with a perfect view of Haystack Rock and a wonderfully deep soaking tub! Even though the weather was freezing and wet, the room service waitress had a warm and friendly smile and sweet personality, I know I would have a hard time hiding the shivers lol the scenery of haystack on the beach and kind staff made up for the weather! We're definitely coming back in the summer and taking advantage of the pool and beachside cabanas

Loved our stay here. Dog friendly, great views of the beach and Haystack Rock. Nightly bonfires on the beach with smores provided. Smelled and felt super clean when we arrived. Easy walks to restaurants. Just what we were looking for in our escape down the Oregon coast.

Fairly nice room and right by the beach. But $450 for one night when half of the resort is unavailable seems a bit excessive

We've been coming here for the past few years and have never been disappointed with the service or the hotel. If there is ever anything that doesn't seem like it should be the staff works immediately to remedy it. Out of all the years we've been here honestly only one have we had to talk to someone about something and they fixed it within minutes. We will always choose surfsand!

Worth every penny! Our room faced the beach with a large balcony. Very comfortable, great service and plenty to do!

Furbaby friendly. Nice accommodations. Pleasant social hours like popcorn, ice cream and cookies. Hubby enjoyed the adult beverage tastings. I loved hearing the ocean and joy on my furry daughters faces running on the beach. Lovely place. Can't wait for our next visit. Thank you Surfsand staff for making our stay memorable

This place is top-notch. Not only does it have great seaside views and a long list of amenities, the staff are some of the most hospitable I'm seen in recent memory.

They have so many amenities and are right on the beach! Right in the edge of town, just a short bike ride away! Loved my stay!

My husband and I spent our 8th anniversary here. Truly amazing! The staff was super nice, the room was gorgeous and we had a great view of Haystack Rock (even with the terrible wind and rain). The king size bed was amazingly comfortable and the fireplace was relaxing. We will be back.

Wonderful amenities and excellent customer service! Not being able to see the Haystack rock from your room was the only downside to staying here. The room I stayed in had high ceiling, fire place, microwave, fridge, and a small TV with cable connection in the restroom. There is a sliding door separating the bath tub and the bedroom; if opened you could see part of the beach and the TV in the main room. Sauna, gym, and swimming pool were well maintained. There is electric car charging available. The room service includes selected movies on DVD with microwave popcorn. Overall a relaxing experience. I would highly recommend this place.

I love this hotel! The staff are amazing, the room are so nice. It s an amazing place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

Very nice service, great food, if you are sleeping on pull out couch I recommend you get mats to lay down on it which you can ask the front desk for. Great views and ammentites I would reccomend staying during the week because its less busy. Overall amazing had a great time. Great views and especially great if your coming to see the iconic haystack rock.

This place makes any vacation feel so special. Be it a quick weekend getaway. Or a week long relaxation. You will feel special and enjoy all the amenities. It was very clean with super friendly staff from the front desk to the house keepers. The beach front also helps that's just a plus.

Surfsand Resort has beautiful rooms, an appealing exterior, and a comforting lobby. My visit was brief, but enjoyable. Staff was excellent. I would definitely be interested in returning.

My girlfriend and I spent her birthday weekend at Surfsand, and it was a wonderful resort. The room was very nice, with a great partial view of Haystack Rock, soaking tub, and fireplace. The resort is only a minute's walk away from the beach, and they also had a complimentary shuttle to take us to and from downtown. We also partook in a private bonfire that Surfsand set up for us with s'mores, and it was a beautiful sunset we got to view during that. Thank you for the great weekend, we will be back! PS. Kristi (receptionist) was super awesome, thank you for being so welcoming!

Our room had an amazing view of Haystack Rock. Loved the soaking tub and fireplace. The complimentary cookies were delish. Would absolutely stay there again.

The Surfsand Resort offers 5-star service! My husband and I arrived last Friday to spend the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival, their records indicated our reservation was scheduled for the following weekend. The Surfsand quickly corrected their mistake without hesitation. While their location didn't not have any available rooms, they found a very nice room at one of their sister properties nearby, The Stephanie Inn Carriage House. We were thrilled to not have to turn around and drive home to Portland. We were greeted with many complimentary items and treated like royalty. Each staff member we encountered was absolutely delightful. We even received a call from the general manager to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We had a delicious dinner at the Wayfarer restaurant and again received 5-star service and we were greeted by the head chef. If you're looking for wonderful accommodations and the highest level of hospitality, The Surfsand or Stephanie Inn is the right choice for you.

The most remarkable hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life and cannot wait and I do repeat wait until I can get back there again, if I could give it 10 Stars I would.

As a parent of young children I appreciate all the care that goes into making things kid friendly. Starting off with a pool that is actually warm enough for kids to spend time in. That alone is amazing. Then they top it off by providing Puddle Jumpers, and pool floats along with an endless supply of towels. It doesn t end there. S mores on the beach (towels, chairs, and blankets provided), warm water wash off spot, movies and popcorn for our rooms, lanterns for evening beach walks, a snack shack... they made it easy for us.
When we returned home I received a phone call because we accidentally left shoes in the room. This isn t the first time we ve left something at a hotel, but this is certainly the first time a hotel has called to arrange to get our belongings back to us. Customer service was top notch the entire time. My only complaint is that the rooms are not air conditioned, but even then they provide enough fans to cool the room off in the evenings.

The resort was great! Great rooms (kid and dog friendly) with mini fridge and microwave, great views (if you pay for them), friendly staff, and right on the beach! They even will set up bonfires and s'mores supplies if requested (seasonal). Free parking and great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Will definitely go back!

For just a tiny bit of money they set up a bon fire for you on the beach! The bed was comfy and it was a great Saturday over all. Also it being so close to Haystack Rock was AMAZING!

We got an ocean view room for a night to have a quick vacation and it was awesome. The view was great, the sounds of the ocean were great at night and the room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a sliding window between the bedroom and the bathroom just over the bath, very romantic. Also the staff were great, my toddler son got a few bucket abs shovel to play in the sand with.

Would definitely go again.

There are so many wonderful things to write about Surfsand. My most meaningful visit was for my 60th birthday, in February. I had reserved a non-view room, but the staff upgraded me to a full ocean view! When I went into my room they had a huge bouquet of balloons and candy from Bruce s Candy Kitchen waiting for me. It truly touched me. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautiful as you can see in the photos. The beach is just a few steps away so I got to fall asleep and wake up to the oceans sounds. It was difficult to leave. I m going back this week, and looking forward to it immensely. I highly recommend The Surfsand and will stay there in all of my future visits.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our birthdays and anniversary here! Everything about this hotel is excellent. I didn t want us to leave it was very relaxing! The view was beautiful and the room was perfect for both of us. I want to thank Zach the manager and the staff for making our trip and stay very special! We re definitely coming back! Cheers

Nice resort. Very close to haystack rock. All employees from front desk to housekeeping go above and beyond to be helpful, and make your stay very comfortable. Very kid friendly. Made our daughters stay extra enjoyable by giving free beach toys and kites. We had the ocean front suite. Amazing views of haystack rock and easy beach access. Will definitely stay here when we visit cannon Beach in the future.

You can't beat the hospitality and service of this place! The location is amazing also!

I reserved 2 nights for husbands special birthday I paid a bit more than I normally would first room was 450.00 very over priced room was so small bathroom was up dated and nice the furniture in the room looked like a dog was chewed on I did take pictures the next night we had to move rooms I did pay 650.00 for the 2 Nd night would never pay that much but wanted it to be really nice we were disappointed no kitchen again way over priced bathroom was nice we had the smoke alarm go off at midnight everyone went outside no one informed us of what I was going on and if it was safe to go back ! Weather was beautiful and food was good !

We haven't stayed here for several years. We are frequent guest next door resort. We decided to give it try again for a change and comparison. Reserved a Very nice King suite top floor room. We are definitely coming back as the remodel a few years back really improved the atmosphere. Great experience for us.

Our favorite place to stay in Cannon Beach. It's always so inviting and the fresh cookies and milk are a fun treat!

Great room right on the ocean. Mattresses are extremely comfortable, best I've ever had in a hotel room. Service was excellent. My only complaint is the rooms are not as sound proof as you would hope. I could hear the people next door coughing.
