Excellent seafood and knowledgeable ,friendly staff

This was my first visit to SL&S and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the entire store. The next thing was the amazing selection of seafood both fresh and frozen. Having lived here my whole life obviously I am late to the party by just now visiting but WOW, I' m a regular now

We love to buy our fish from here, it's so fresh and their fish is from various places around the world. .

As fresh of a seafood store as I have seen away from Charleston, S.C.

I did not back to this place. The previous location on Fulton was much better, everyone could go and choose what he likes and want. Now... regular store. I would not recommend it, prices too high

Nothing like preparing a freshly thawed recently purchased 56 dollar lobster tail for my family and everyone noticing the ammonia smell while taking their first bite. For those that are not aware this means its spoiled and mostly reveals itself after being cooked. Thanks Supreme lobster. Never have I cooked a meal and 5 minutes after serving we all go outside to vomit.

I've been a customer here for over thirty years, as a chef in the northwest side of Chicago for many year's supreme lobster was the go to for fresh fish.Today I visited the store for the first time in years, my daughter fancied some mussels so I asked the young lady the harvest date on the mussels they had exposed, the answer was 10/22/18, I said WOW is that all you have? She asked one of her associate the same question she came back yep that's all we have.She stepped aside and murmurs what I have said, then I asked the young girl again to look in the back the other girl said there all the same batch..But she managed to come out with a much recent harvest date...Buying something today is like going to Vegas....

I love this place for fresh seafood. I always buy everything for Good Friday at this location. I do get a little overwhelmed from the fish smell as I enter, but this is how I know everything is so fresh! The people are so nice, the selection is outstanding, and it is quick and easy to get in and out!

We love to come here for fresh or frozen seafood! Prices are reasonable, and there is a wide variety of seafood items available. Rachel's Octopus Salad is out of this world!!

It would helpful if the employees were a little more informed. They were all very friendly though.

Kinda of crowded but expected that with it being the holiday. They had armed guards which I get and really didn't pay them any mind. My husband stated they never took there eyes off us as though we were going to run out with something. Bit of advance for them armed guards should watch everyone.

This is simply the best place if you want FRESH & QUALITY seafood. While the prices are inline and some times cheaper than other stores, their products are always as fresh as can be and blow away the quality of anything you might find anywhere else in Chicagoland. They also carry quite the great assortment of hard to find foods such as crawdads, alligator, escargot and more. The number one thing I buy from here is lobster tails, you just can't beat the price and quality of the lobster here. And their oyster are great too! The guys behind the counters always offer useful advice on finding the right oyster for your palette and wallet. My only complaint is that they are too far for me to visit more regularly, maybe I will just need to move closer.

Best seafood selection in suburbs. King of North ave. Fresh as hell oysters. Delicious smoked salmon. Friendly staff. Bring some loot they are pricey but your getting restaurant quality food.

Very dishonest place. Prices are horrible high you can find everything they got here for alot less at supermarkets. For example I asked for sardines they guy answers yes about 8 dollars a pound. Are you kidding me! I found them a Caputos for 3.99 a 2 pound bag.

Called this morning and asked if they had salted herring. After having the phone passed around until someone knew what herring was ("Salted head?" "No, herring." "Salted head?" "No, HERRING! H-E-R-R-I-N-G!" "... ....hold on.") I was finally assured it was in stock and given a price. Great, I'm on my way, I told them.
My daughter and I drove from Aurora only to be told when we got there that it was not in stock. An hour and fifteen minute round trip!
"Sorry, I should've checked before telling you it was in stock."
No, I should have known better. Supreme Lobster is a shadow of its former self and I'll never make the same mistake again - and neither should you.

Fresh fish at decent prices. Always buy Oysters from there.

It's accurate to say I've spent in upwards of $5000-$7000 at this place in 2020. (I have a Pescutarian in the house)

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. It's a no brainier: if you need something obscure - or just fresh - you go to Supreme. Even the high end supermarkets can't carry a lot of this stuff because it wouldn't move fast enough. Supreme can, they supply restaurants and have been doing this too long to have not gotten it right a long time ago.

I don't eat seafood but this place is a seafood lovers dream. As soon as the doors slide open you are smacked in the face by the smell of fish. I tried some fish market humor by asking the man behind the counter if he wanted to hear a joke. He said yes. I kept pretending I couldn't hear him. I kept saying huh huh huh. He answered yes loudly for the fourth time. I said "calm down I'm hard of herring" pointing to the herring in front of me. My gf loved this place.

This place has an amazing selection of fish and very fresh. Can even get fish heads...just ask.

I've always had a wonderful experience. The staff is very polite and professional whether you call or come in to the facility. Always very clean. My husband and i visit regularly. It's our go to place for fresh fish.

Its a little pricey but the quality of the food is great. Just got a bag of lobster claws about 8 or 9 in the bag for 32 bucks. And i must say man oh man they are meaty

This retail fish market consistently provides the freshest and highest quality seafood to be found anywhere in the midwest. The variety offered and the service provided by the staff makes this establishment the only place to satisfy even the most difficult to please. Certainly not the cheapest venue, but definitely worth it. And why would you would you want to go cheap when you can literally go supreme. We have been treating ourselves to the oysters, mussels, clams, salmon, cod, shrimp, and squid for years and have never ever been disappointed.

Way to high in price. Don't be fooled they are nothing like isaacson. Not the same products and certainly not the same prices. Don't get cought in there net.

The most dishonest company for which I gave my time, luckily it was only a week. They told me they were going to pay me at 18 an hour to drive the semi truck I said ok let's see what the job is about, forget it they want you to break 24 pallets and then at the end of the day you make a route with the straight truck, for real . For 18 dollars an hour I need the job but I can not be a slave, I get to the office I ask for more money and his answer was no, I said ok thanks for the opportunity. Today I received the check by mail, surprise. I was not expecting this 13 Dollars per hour, really. Think about it very well. Now I understand why they only have Hispanic people working for them.

All the fish products can't get any fresher! The products are so Fresh. I'd recommend it to everyone!

The frozen fish that stays in the cooler is freezer burned

Have been going here for more more years tban I can remember!! My Husband and I ONLY shop for Seafood here!!! Just there yesterday and they had THE BIGGEST BEST LOBSTER TAILS AND CRAB LEGS!!! AND EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT FOR SIDE DISHES TO GO WITH!!!!! MY FAVORITE AND (((ONLY))) SEAFOOD SHOP!!!!! TEN STARS IF I COULD!!!!!

This is the best place around for fresh seafood - selection, quality, and freshness. The prices are probably higher than the grocery store, but the quality and variety are far better. Really seems like high end restaurant-grade seafood. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, too.

I was looking for oysters on the half shell for Christmas, loved their seafood selection. They had three different choices for oysters. Tons of fish and other options.
