I have been dealing with Super Save for many years and i have never had any issues with them. The Salesmen and very nice as well as the ladies in Customer Service. I have a great driver who is always going the extra mile to make sure i am satisfied with my services. I strongly recommend them!!
This Company has had easily over 100 litigation's for signing people onto contracts they didn't ask for and then forcing them to pay the buyout price. Long and short of it is, these people are crooks. I know from personal experience, as do many of my clients.
After questioning about why we got charged extra weight for our garbage, no explanation and the answer was no where near called professional: I don t know, it s YOUR garbage! Unhappy with the service at all!
Make sure you read the contract CAREFULLY. Their cancellation process is miserable. My cancellation request was denied because they assumed I'm switching to another service provider which I'm NOT!
terrible company, horrible customer service. they hook you up with 5 year term contracts for disposal service and leave you with no option to get out and after 5 years is over you have to stay with them forever and if you switch to another hauler, they come after you with legal letter and send you a bill for another 5 year term which equals to 60 months of service with increased rate without your consent. they just increase their rates whenever they want and say its landfill fees going up but when you want to switch to someone else they say they have the right to see the competitors quote and they match the same quote to make you stay with them and once you stay with them they slowly increase their rates every couple of months. my rate was supposed to be $170 a month for a 4 yard bin weekly service but by the end of my term i was paying almost $300 a month and they charge so much nonsense fuel charge and admin fee and carbon recovery fee on top of whatever they say your base price is.
they dont understand what flat rate and 5 year term means. it makes no difference to them from month to month service. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THESE HYENAS (they want to eat you alive). THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
Super save has multiple defective and unsafe trucks that won't properly latch, literally leaking trash and leaving it strewn across the streets and alleys in the armory district. The regular driver in the area is a hot head with obvious mental health issues, who speeds down tight alley ways and cuts off other drivers while flipping them off in a branded company vehicle, as well as reversing out of alleys and into intersections without looking, cutting through alleys across four lane roads without any regard to traffic in the street or pedestrians on the sidewalk, etc etc... Reported to the company and they blew it off and started making ad hominem attacks over the phone (nice), meaning this behaviour isn't just tolerated but is actually the pervasive corporate culture, starting from the top down. The city of Vancouver has had numerous issues according to the agent I spoke to after calling 311. It is literally just a matter of time before their driving kills someone in the area.
If you want a company that will leave garbage all over your lot, trap you in a negative billing contract and drive recklessly around your business putting your customers & neighbours at risk and damaging your reputation, this is the company to go with. If you want a professional, find literally anyone else. Pretty sure the five star reviews are all fake as well.

I rented 2080ft at the beginning and took down 890ft after two years.
They charged us $5600 for 'missing panels', which were not picked up by their own careless employees.
The accounting team is even worse, selectively reply TO your emails. They kept billing us the same amount even after we took down 890ft and it took them half year to respond to this issue.(Not even solved, just respond)

I went to the rodeo this summer, was by far pleased with the services provided by super save rentals. They have always provided great customer service, and seem to take pride in there brand.
This place is the absolute worst, most crooked place in the lower mainland.
They Pad bills overcharge every single customer they have. Their name is absolute Mud. Don't use them for garbage or propane they're crooks and if you use them they'll rip you off too guaranteed.
They also swindle aging seniors by offering "discounts" with extremely long contracts attached. They don't tell them anything about a contract and they don't explain any details. After I'm done with this review I'm going to the consumer protection agency. These crooks need to be stopped.
all i can say is wow,we at popkum motorpark rented fencing for our national event last june...we unloaded it from there truck and put it up,we took it down and loaded it back on there truck,for this we where charged a $600 set up take down fee.upon advising them of this we where told the fee would be cancelled but just recently we have been sent a new invoiced saying we owe 25% of the original fee plus interest to date and the best part is that one of there "departments" that wasnt even here has still deemed them doing 25% of the work and the boss wont even take my phone calls so please super save yourself the disappointment and find another company to deal with.
I was at the Gone Country fundraiser this past summer and noticed that Super Save had lots of different products located on the grounds. Everything looked great and a month or so later I was in need of a porta potty for a short term and decided to give them a call. The customer service was excellent, they helped me out with all of my questions and explained the different options to me, the toilet was dropped off less then 24 hours later by a lovely gentleman and the servicing on the unit was on schedule as they had told me it would be. Even when they came to pick it up they were polite and understanding of the fact that I have dogs and needed a call ahead to make sure they were put in the house. Great Job Super Save!!!
Extremely impressed with Super Save and their ability to provide all of the services possibly needed for home renovations. All equipment showed up on time and in great condition, and the rates were extremely competitive.

This company is a bunch scammers, they will over charge you for weight that never existed and there is no way to dispute it. It's their words against yours. Would not recommend.
Called in to Super Save Accounts Receivable to try to setup bill payments for our garbage disposal as my new bank did not have them listed as a registered bill payee. The lady I dealt with on the phone, Kelly McClenahan was rude and difficult to deal with which I found odd as I was just calling in to pay my bill (not calling in frustrated or upset)! Despite her rude responses and attitude I got my bill paid, however definitely makes me question using Super Save moving forward, customer service is clearly lacking.
This is the rudest customer service i have ever experienced. I was demanded to dump the bin or they would pick it up. Do not use these guys or ever sign a contract. I have sent this to our corporate lawyers. Completely disgusted.

Very friendly crew but a terrible experience with charging and billing in the administrative branch. Hidden billing practices and horrible customer service. Overcharged and then received no refund from my initial deposit. No calls back or respondence. I never write reviews as well so take that as a bad sign. Learned a tough lesson as I will research all companies I do business with going forward...

SUPER SLAVE ZERO STARS
This is the absolute worst company I have worked for. I was recently hired during their busiest time of the season. Please do not hire new people into your peak season as it takes 3 months to fully learn and understand everything.
Previous before I worked at Super Save Group, I had no experience working in an office nor was I familiar with excel as I use apple. I was more confused and lost as to how THEY did things around the office. I was trained for a week and a half by a Sales Lead Manager who did not feel welcoming, did not teach me anything as I mostly sat and watched her do her emails for 5 hours. She eventually stopped training me because I personally feel like she just did not want to. She was a sad and miserable women and I have absolutely no idea how a bully like her who treats new employees like garbage is a Sales Lead Manager. I was then trained by another girl who was very sweet, but to be honest, I did not learn anything from her. I was then on my own after my training period was done. I had no references to refer to, I constantly felt like I was bugging everyone asking "where is this, where is that" only to find out I should of had them in the first place and got all my reference sheets printed off, thanks everyone who helped me out. I also kept asking where everything is on my account system, again, only to find out that the head manager should have emailed me these prior before I was on my own.
One day I was asked to step into the office and I was accused for using my phone during work time(turning off my buzzer alarm for my pills was apparently a sin..?), I was falsely accused for taking longer than my 30 minute break, but I do remember only a COUPLE occasions where that has occurred due to the fact I was not able to leave the parking lot as a co worker was blocking my car.. I buy my lunch and there is a wait time for food. I was also accused for calling family members off the OFFICE PHONE but I recall being told I can call family members if there is an emergency. Having a sibling using your card behind your back and having to ask your dad to send money for GAS is kind of an emergency.
She then told me if it happened again, it would be my last shift.
Recently, the manager "let me go" which really meant I was fired. I was only there for a month. I was fired for screwing up new orders as a new employee who had to learn things on her own. But it also did not make sense as I had all my work checked over by a manager.. and apparently one order was not in the system but I have sent the customer his receipt to his email and I don't hand in work to data entry without receipts. Why charge a card and not place his order in? She made me feel like a fool and the other screw ups she had discussed as well are minor fixable mistakes. After she had escorted me out, I felt sunshine and rainbows over my head leaving the building.
I do not recommend working for this company to ANYONE as the managers don't show appreciation for the small stuff that makes this company somewhat successful, managers talk down on you, give you a hard time, point fingers and point out your mistakes and don't teach you the RIGHT way to do it. As for customer service, some of the ladies working there have no sense as to what the TRUE meaning behind customer service means. Imagine being yelled at by your server in a restaurant, same concept applies as that is ALSO considered customer service. They yell at their customers over the phone and overcharge them too that sometimes my eyes widen in such disbelief.
Word of advice, do not promote downhearted bullies as managers who run the place. Good luck to the new hires and best of luck to management.
Ordered the Hydro Vac service with Super Save to locate a pipe in a tricky area. The ordering process was quick, the service was affordable and the driver did a great job
We really need to petition Google for a 0 stars option! What all of the other negative reviews are saying is true - DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. The initial quote is apparently just a loose estimate - definitely not including all of the hidden fees. Once your contract "expires," they automatically roll you in to a new one, without consent (or knowledge!). I was told the only way that I could get out of my shredding contract was to send a registered letter to their office between 120 and 90 days before my contract would automatically be renewed again (is this even legal?! Could you imagine if your cell-phone provider did this?).
That being said, my issue is with upper management and their "retention" department. Their heavy-handed, mob-like attitude is a real disappointment, as well as frustrating. All of the drivers who picked up my shredding were friendly and professional, as was the sales rep.
Once I finally manage to extricate myself from their snare, I will be using: ShredMasters & Valley Recycling

Worst company. Called 4 times asking for a scale ticket as they said my bin was over the weight. Never get one or an answer back. Now each month they over charge on the rate but wont return calls to say why it's more each month. If I could give minus stars I would.
BEWARE of this company, the customer serice is non existent and there business practices are down right deplorable.
The previous office manger signed a 5 year contract with them for garbage and recycling services. After the 5 year commitment was over we wanted to cancel the service only to be told we were automatically renewed into another 5 year contract and if we didn't want the bins we would need to pay out the remainder of the new 5 year contract. I find it disgusting that they can lock you down and hold you hostage for another additional 5 year term without informing you or receiving consent for that (which I understand was in the fine print in the contract but in my opinion shouldn't be legal, and isn't with most customers).
I never leave reviews about companies however this situation has risen to the levels of warning other potential customers to run not walk away from this company. Zero customer service/Zero ethical business practices.
As a reputable home renovator and builder, we cannot advise others to stay away from this company enough. After multiple unauthorized transactions and mistakes to our company credit card, we ended our contract with Supersave in December 2016. We are still trying to collect credits for unauthorized transactions and mistakes to this day (April, 2017). Hidden fees, constant mistakes, late pick up and drop offs, atrocious customer service and on-site service, and unauthorized credit card transactions. The list is endless. We switched to Pit Stop Portables and couldn't be happier. Best decision we could have made and we highly recommend others do the same.
Don't use this company. read the contract carefully. Never sign a five year contract do it annually otherwise go with their competitors. This company try to get money even if you are not using this service. They have a legal department and they take advantage of that.
Let's make sure no one use this company or switch to a better competitor.

My business has been using super save propane for 2 years now, and I can't believe how much time and effort it has saved us having someone come and change out our propane cylinders every week. The driver is kind, and has never missed a scheduled delivery. Keep it up!
I have nothing good to say about this group as the interaction I have had.. I ordered a cardboard recycling bin at the end of May 2018 on a monthly pickup As I respect the environment and recycling practices. The first pickup they missed so I politely phoned them to let them know. They assured me they would be there the next day. A day goes by and still no pick up so I gave them another call. This time I wasn t very pleased. I told them to take the bin back as I haven t had the service they had made me sign contract to. The customer service maintenance manager then sent me a registered letter giving me 3 options. Buyout the contract in its entirety, assign to a 3rd party or transfer the agreement to a new location. they have not once picked up on time. So what choice but to stick out the service... we ll another month goes by and again a missed pickup. I am absolutely appalled by the level of customer service that this company provides and will not ever recommend this company to anyone. If anyone else has a story like this please share because they can make the contracts however they are unable to actually keep their side of the contract. The other point before you sign that contract is pay close attention to the auto renewal terms at the end. !! I am very willing to discuss this with any of the supersave group at anytime, however I really am disgusted to this point. The last point here would be that I have to give at least a star for at least answering the phone and because it will not let me post without a star.
Horrible Horrible experience with Super Save. After reading all these reviews i now know i'm not alone. I would be extremely embarrased to own this company....NO GOOD REVIEWS!! Manager of customer service is a complete joke! unauthorized payments on my credit card for 4 months after my shredding console was picked up, still no credit. I am beside myself how bad this company is. Come on super save....it's not rocket science!! obviously you got a little to big for your britches....get your act together!!!
Stay away from this business! Once you provided them with one time payment they keep charging your card without even letting you know or providing you with invoice or at least explanation why. Initially upon a phone call they have offered a flat fee for construction bean rental( tree pruning) of $670. Looking at the bank account one month later I found two more UNAUTHORIZED charges on same card from them, totalling $1902 !!! The invoice was NEVER send to us ( construction company in Kelowna) so when I called today the girl started yelling saying that it's not her fault that nobody ever send us invoice. Invoice was finally send today. Now I look at it and there is extra charge for OVERWEIGHT ( MIXED CONSTRUCTION), this is from bare land lot! When I called again, she said she needs to investigate, called back saying that the bean was full of dirt!!!! This is from grassy land on which we had to cut a few trees prior construction! I asked for pictures and, of course no pictures were provided! Never again!!!
Zero Stars! Used to work there and for obvious reasons if you have seen all the real ratings. Once your gone they will ghost you and take it personally for you leaving.

I am now a Supervisor for a great company who noticed my potential and drive and wanted to see me reach my goals. Super Save will make you feel like your not good enough to justify not paying you what you deserve. *** I finally have what I deserve. Now I understand what a great company looks like and how people really treat each other in a positive environment.***
The only lesson I learned at SS is what the complete opposite of what I wanted or needed was. They taught me what I should never have to deal with at work and how unhealthy their environment truly is. They showed me what liars and manipulators look like. I think they need a real wake up call.
To the owner - thank you for your kindness but you really have some corrupt managers working for you and this in the long run is the reason so many staff members are coming and going. The wrong people are being promoted and the right people are being overlooked and shaken by other managers to scare them into staying quiet. Many people fear they will lose their job if they come forward with any complaints.
I don't recommend working here as long as these issues are still unresolved.

Fulfilled our 5 year contract despite never being happy with service. Now that our contract is up we emailed and called to cancel service and they told us we auto renewed for five years, near impossible to reach bin anyone. Total run around. I implore you to look elsewhere !

This company is good at putting all kinds of extra charge on the invoice, such as admin fees, equipment replacement fees etc. I was always amazed how a company like this could survive in the current industry world. Will never rent from this company
