Food is alright, rooms are small and service lacks that friendliness that we need after a long flight. The pool is nice and beach is only across the street with somewhat easy access, but I was slightly unimpressed with room service and attitude of the workers.

We stayed here for a week in June, 2018. The staff was always friendly and polite. The restaurant is one of the best on the island for the price and quality. Very close to a warehouse type store that doesn't require a membership. The location was great for us. Use of the Westin resort is included in the room fee. The AC was ice cold. Rooms are a little dated of that is something that bothers you. The TVs are all upgraded with good cable. Newer table fixtures with plenty of plugs for cameras, phones, go pros, etc. The wifi was great which saved me $10/day from activating local service with verizon. If you are a value minded traveler this is a 10 star resort.

This was a great place to stay while in grand Cayman. So close to seven mile beach, shopping, and grocery stores. It was a nice hotel with everything you would need for a vacation. Property was well manicured and taken care of and the restaurant had delicious food!

We had a huge room in a perfect location 1/2 block from the Ritz and Westin with Westin beach club included. Clean modern and everything worked perfectly, fridge, microwave, double stove top. Great water pressure, comfy mattress and crisp linen, posh towels. Very friendly staff, nice pool, bar, and resturaunt. Liquor store and two more restaurant and a dive shop / dive tours adjacent. BEST VALUE ON THE ISLAND!

Great fish tacos. Be cautious if you don't like birds, they are everywhere. They come up and grab your food if your not looking, or you can just have feed them if you want. Just remember if you are coming from America, the prices are so high. Still work it though.

Its ok. Not much bells and whistle. The location is really good. If they could add a little protein to breakfast that would be good. If you stay more than two days the lack of diversity in breakfast is readily apparent. The staff is A+.

The location and relationship with the sister hotel was great. But the sunshine hotel could be cleaner. The toilet needed a through cleaning. The bathroom floor was extreamly dirty. It looked like it had not been mopped and thoroughly cleaned in years. During our entire five day stay I didn't hear or see a vacuum cleaner for the carpet in the rooms. The stairwells were also dirty. We probably wouldn't stay at this hotel if we return to the Cayman islands. I'm wondering if the reviews and high ratings were ligimate and real people.

Sunshine Suites is and a great location for you to access all water and nearby other Hotel and Resorts. 5 minute drive from the hotel to downtown. 10 minute drive to West Bay. They Served a hot continental breakfast. Rooms are clean and staff is courteous.

In my opinion this small boutique resort is a treasure find! The prices are unbeatable but the service is where they shine! It is across the street from the Ritz and placed in the middle of "where you want to be" Business or pleasure, this is your best bet. The restaurant is consistently superior. I would have no trouble eating there every meal. This is the best run independent hotel anywhere. Never stayed in a place where you leave knowing the staff and feeling like you have made friends that will remember you on your next visit. All I can say is try it and I'm sure you will agree.

We have been returning guests to Grand Cayman and the Sunshine Suites Resort. We love the place. Very friendly, clean and perfect distance from the beach and commercial area for food and drinks! If you like to wonder off the property.

Excellent spot. Great Grill known for their awesome fish tacos! Great outdoor area with great chairs to relax with a good book. Rooms are spacious, have a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. More like a small 1 bedroom apartment. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again

We stay here every time we visit Grand Cayman. All staff is friendly, and they always make sure you are comfortable! Rooms are clean and affordable. Most importantly, the grill serves amazing fresh foods!

Staff very friendly and efficient, accommodation spacious, comfortable and clean. For additional charge have access to Westin hotel facilities and beach. I would recommend staying here.

The service was really good, and the location is awesome! But the food was honestly really difficult to eat. Everything was kind of a (literal) hot mess. They made the burger so tall that you can't put it down without it falling apart, and their signature side is a pile of various deep fried veggies that become a pile of mush... The sandwich my friend had was the same ordeal. Maybe some of the other items on the menu are better, but just not my cup of tea.

It's a great place to stay if you're not fussy about being right on the beach. The rooms are perfect for what a room is needed for: sleeping. The partnership with the Westin allows you full access to the Westin's beach chairs, cabana's, etc. Any room-chargeable service at the Westin can also be charged to your room at Sunshine Suites, which is very convenient. If you're a diver, they have a rinse tank and drying lockers available at no charge. There is a pool on-site in the middle of the complex, however I never used it, so I can't really comment on it aside to say that it looks nice. The only downside to Sunshine Suites is the breakfasts. It's continental, however it is basically just sugar and carbs with the only protein option being hard-boiled eggs. It would be really nice if they could have a scrambled egg and bacon/sausage tray alongside the pancakes and toast.

Quality hotel for a reasonable price. Make sure you pay attention at check in though. They will charge you an additional $100 per day as a "deposit" which counts towards food and drink. You will get this back if you don't spend it, but still, not my favorite practice even if some people utilize all of the "deposit".

Spent a week here in Grand Cayman for some diving. The hotel is not a mega resort, it's a comfortable bed to relax and sleep in. Overall it was clean and quiet. Most guests seem to spend their time on the beach or at the neighboring Westin, amenities included for sunshine guests. It's in a great location midway up 7 Mile beach. I would stay here again on my next dive trip to the Caymans.

Hotel with rooms that are more apartments. Garden, swimming pool and parking. Shuttle service to the airport, excellent breakfast and also the restaurant (a somewhat limited choice though). Generally highly recommended.

Great location. Service was friendly and helpful. Room very clean and with comfortable beds. All necessary amenities and a basic but varied breakfast - all one needs for an enjoyable couple of nights. Plenty of activities as this property is also part of the Westin group.

After a week in the hotel I dont think we could've found anywhere better to stay. The location is convenient and close to the beach and other restaurants and attractions. Many scuba and snorkeling places will pick up here. It is kept to the highest standards of clean and tidy to make it extremely comfortable. The cleaning staff do an excellent job every time and surprise us with the effort they give. The sunshine restaurant is amazing and has the best fish tacos but the free breakfast is very lacking though you can get a discount on the paid breakfast which is nice. Many of the people here are kind and there is not a lot of noise. There is construction going on during the time I write this review that does disturb peace a bit but when it's done the elevators will be nice. I would recommend anyone who likes the beach and to scuba to stay here and utilize Living the Dream Diving which is next door. Also as a side note, budget for holding fees which may be a few hundred that will be returned to you at the end of the stay but still may surprise you.

Has almost all the basic condo amenities except for an oven. No in room safe, but there's a safety deposit style box in the office that is available 24/7. You can't use the balcony to hang wet clothes to dry in the sun, but there is a clothesline in the shower. We've had some minor issues with hot water and water pressure for the shower, but maintenance is fairly quick and responsive. Breakfast is adequate. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Nice property across the street from the Westin. The restaurant is great. Pool looks nice. We only walked the property to the Sunshine Grill. Full disclosure we have not stayed there so can't review the rooms, only the grounds.

Very good budget friendly option. Just across the street from the gorgeous seven mile beach. The best part, you can use all the Beach and pool infrastructure from the Westin. Would come back for sure!
