It's a great place to stay if you're not fussy about being right on the beach. The rooms are perfect for what a room is needed for: sleeping. The partnership with the Westin allows you full access to the Westin's beach chairs, cabana's, etc. Any room-chargeable service at the Westin can also be charged to your room at Sunshine Suites, which is very convenient.
If you're a diver, they have a rinse tank and drying lockers available at no charge. There is a pool on-site in the middle of the complex, however I never used it, so I can't really comment on it aside to say that it looks nice.
The only downside to Sunshine Suites is the breakfasts. It's continental, however it is basically just sugar and carbs with the only protein option being hard-boiled eggs. It would be really nice if they could have a scrambled egg and bacon/sausage tray alongside the pancakes and toast.
