If I could give no stars, I absolutely would. I'm a former employee and while I did work with a few decent people and had a couple of good supervisors, recently our team had finally built back up to where it needed to be and then we got a new director and a new VP who have absolutely derailed the workplace. After I left, in just a week and a half, 3 or 4 other people have left and others are on the brink. Such poor management from the company. Leaving this branch of HHS understaffed and underpaid and overworked should be a crime and I'm glad I got away from it. Do not ever work for this company.

This is the worst place to work, the housekeeping director is prejudice and does not treat his employees right, he over looks everything that is done there, and shows favor to certain people, about a week prior he was given a request off form from me, he had been complaining about it getting slow because the season is almost over, so a job come through for me, this is something I had apply for before I started and this job pays more money, I request three days off, I told him about the new job and that I had to take care of myself, this man terminates me because I told him about my new job, I ask him for two days, to work part time, he said it was not a part of the budget for part time inspectors, he also said he did not see the request form which I put in his hands and he told me it would be fine. he is a coward and pretends with the employees just to get the work done. he does not deserves to be in that position, I have a good paying job and that made him up set so he terminated me, he is a loser. but he needs to know a person who prays you have to be careful how you treat them. property Camelot by the Sea Myrtle Beach SC

Corrupt management, I was fired when I failed to place a wet floor sign and someone slipped which is understandable. But when another co-worker does the same thing and the person actually injures themselves ( crack their skull open and was rushed to another hospital) and doesn't get the slightest bit in trouble, it just shows the favoritism they have there.

I really enjoyed my time working at the corporate office in Austin, Texas and the interaction within the corporate office as well as with the locations across the U.S. Management is also very receptive to feedback and continues to work on initiatives to benefit the company and its employees. The upper management team is approachable. If you do your job and have a pleasant attitude, there is no issue.

After training,I was assigned 19 rooms to clean as a novice-January 2018, my thirf dsy on HHS timeclock; as a hospital room cleaner. This job got me in shape for the first time. I gained energy and stamina in the pacing learned on this job. I liked the company assistant,she designated my jobs from application to hire,and she was really organized at managing employee paperwork at the local hospital.

I love working with my co workers but, working with the Assistant director an director feels uncomfortable. I really think that the work is going down instead of up. When some of us try to voice our opinions we are never heard. Alot is going on an nothing is being done about it. It's a lot of work for one person to do. An if we can't finish our work we get wrote up. Or maybe be fried an that isn't far at all to some of us that have Bill's an kids to feed. We don't work as a team at ALL an why do the Assistant director nick have to call us folks instead of calling us by our names. That is very uncomfortable to me. An I know it is to the rest of my co workers. I love my job cause, I love to clean an make people feel welcome an at home. In a clean environment but it's hard working for some people that CARELESS about their employees. I have never been in a situation like this before. I hate to come to work sometimes an, it shouldn't have to be like that. If we voice our opinions nothing is done at ALL. An I think that we all should be treated fairly. I have been working for this company for six months. An I would like to make it six more months an years. But something has to be done cause I want to be happy when I come to work. Instead of sad an mad an not wanting to be their. Thanks so much for all you do. An I am not the only one that feels this way.

This company has no shame taking money out of there employee's pocket, They are the worst, Mr Dan could care less about his employee's and he has proved it . And the CEO comes to visit and treats you like trash. if I can give this company a Zero I would they are horrible.

I work graveyard and feel so unappreciated on a regular basis. There are only 2 of us that work in my department on graveyard and 6 others that work the 1st and 2nd shift and we on graveyard are always left out of anything that is done for the employees. Its the little things that really make me feel unappreciated. I do not expect a pat on the back for doing my job, its my job, but when 1st and 2nd shift get food brought in, you would think they would leave us a scrap or two. This I feel like is just disrespectful, just because we are not here during the day when the supervisors are does not mean we should not be included somehow. This has been going on for a long time I am just finally over it all and ready to look for a different company that will acknowledge my existence. And this open door policy, don't even think you can have a feeling or opinion because you are not allowed to get emotional about anything, you will get in trouble or made to feel like your just did or said the worse thing ever. I'm just fed up at this point. I would not recommend anyone to work for this company ever.

I worked for HHS, I was paid well and as I moved up I was paid better. I never had any complaints. The work is not always easy nor are the people working under you, but is it anywhere? I had some excellent teachers along the way.

They treat their people bad. They let employees cuss you out and nothing is done about it. Their so called supervisor Joann is getting people fired for no reason. She lies on people that she dosen' t like and Tyler (director)
believes everything she says. And don't you dare use the open door policy. You'll get retaliated on. If it dosen' t get you fired. They don't like it when you stand up for yourself. I do not recommend working for these people. Hasn't been anything good come from the management team. They the ones creating a hostile environment . Then they wonder why they can't keep anybody .

Horrible company to work for the directors never give any appreciation for the hard work from employees.. the director i had yelled and cussed at us all the time and she hit the tables hard while yelling at us during meetings vp didnt do anything when he was contacted about the disrespect situation..

Loved the family surrounding but work to the point of breaking down cause of multi managing and high expectations...was let go cause I couldn t pick up pace and was added more things in lesser time...was mentally and physically wore out

HHS is one of the worst companies I have ever work...

HHS is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. My boss was amazing, but the company is an absolute joke. The pay is way lower than what you could be paid driving 30 minutes away (a $5hr increase). The company wonders why they have such a high turn around. Let me explain. Not only do they expect new people to train newer people, they expect them to work obcene amounts of hours and throw a fit with overtime. To make matters worse, no employees are held accountable for their actions. And frankly? I can't blame management. Managements bonus' are taken away if there's any unemployment filed for which is absolutely unfair to the manager. That should be judged on performance not money. They literally want employees to quit instead of being fired for ill performance. This horrid process is the main reason employees quit. When you have employees on dayshift not doing a majority of their work, people not showing up for work at all, etc. it all gets placed on nightshift. Night shift then burns out extremely fast due to having to do the job of 2 people with less crew. People start taking random days off or not showing at all to combat their burnout that happens the first week. There's absolutely no raises. EVER. No incentives to get employees to stay after they've endured burnout. I absolutely loved my manager and he was doing his best in a crap situation. If I could say -100 stars I would. This is a terrible way to run a company. Until this company is gone, our hospital will ultimately suffer from understaffing, burnout, ill pay, etc.

Why would anyone want to endure this, when you can work at mcdonalds making $1hr more with less stress. Do not work for this company no matter how desperate you are. And hospitals? NEVER allow this company to have a contract. They treat everything like it's another number. If you want better patient satisfaction scores and better HCAPS, start with your employees. A happy employee is going to make patients and other staff happy, in turn making a cleaner, higher functioning facility.

I wouldn't have given any stars but it appears you can't do that, so I will express my opinion through words.
This company is underpaid and unfair, just because a person decided to do housekeeping doesn't mean they should have to be treated like uncommon folk amongst everyone else, like doctors or nurses.. I have only worked for this company for 3 months and I will NEVER do it again. We can't do anything but clean and stay to ourselves. Anyone else in any other position of the hospital can have their phone with them, and they are also allowed to eat or drink something if need be. We never get to sit down except for on a stupid 30 to 45 min break. Just because we're housekeepers also doesn't mean u can treat us like scum, refering to us as "The help" You all make ppl not ever wanna do this. How is that we dont have opinions or special things going on, because we're not good enough?? They all sit on your high stools and look down on us make all the bogus rules then have the nerve to be underpaid.. Ha! That's a laugh.. Maybe they should do what we do for a while then maybe they would see how they can make a persons day of work a living hell... We're not even apart of the damn hospital, we will always be treated like outcasts because that's what this company wants..... I'm glad I'm in school and I won't have to do this forever, I feel sorry for those that do... You're maids, underpaid maids, who ppl say they respect but doesn't care about u not one bit, one day I hope they see everyone deserves to be treated as equals! No wonder u ppl dont have many stars... Sucks! Bad!

Worst company you could ever work for they do not stand behind there people they will believe the directors over employee and the one that we had at SOVAH is a liar. Will work the hell out of you no compassion at all who knows there employees are without power can t wash or eat but make sure they come to the hospital everyday bathe and eat

The skyline on Dickerson rd,Nashville, never even keeps the housekeepers with all the supplies they need to sterilize the rooms.They also expect too much of too few employees.No soap or sanitizer, garbage can overflowing at the main entrance,no kidding, this is got to be bad oversight and lazy management here

Worked here 5 years got 2 raises and then wrongfully terminated because the Director was so cheap he was hiring staff that did not understand English. They were using air freshner to clean hospital beds and isolation rooms instead of disinfectant because they couldn't read English. Just to save more budget he cut there linen order so they had 1 linen delivery a day instead of 2 leaving the hospital out of linen. We literally had called his superior Justin Hammer and he did nothin about the man harrasing staff and terming people wrongfully. Go higher up and they refer you back to lower management. This company is the bowels of corporations. Walmart is far better. I worked there and can tell you from experience. Don't get fooled.
