Surprisingly good food at the bar. Everything was very good, try the lump crab fried tomatoes. It comes w a copious amount of crab meat sauce

It was an awesome night,our waitress was super nice and friendly, the good was delicious and the music was awesome to listen too.Great atmosphere. This was our first experience but we will definitely be back.

Don't know where to start, love this place! Atmosphere is great with plenty of shade, speakers to hear music and staff to wait on you Even the portable bathrooms were air conditioned and clean. Parking is mostly gravel and my only complaint (minor) was the food good, not great. My wife had a steak wrap that left a puddle on her plate and the shrimp Po-boy was pretty much shrimp and bread, not much else. The roll was fabulous with a garlic, butter taste and it was chewy, not like leather.

I love it the atmosphere music people drink dock over water etc. Awesome place!!!!!

The worst place ever, it was my very first time going there and is my last. The service was poor and the bartenders weren t friendly at all. The food took forever to come out and it came out cold ! I also witnessed first hand some hole throw some drink on some girl, the girl had no idea at all what happened my friend and I wiped her face off and the bouncers took the girl and some other guy out but didn t even bother to take the guy who was causing all of the problems out. If that was me it would be a whole different story!

Dined at Sunset Cove on May 30 and had a wonderful experience. Went back last night and it was awful. They did away with the reservation system. People waiting for tables had to be along the fence. We were within 6ft of the fence and 12ft of the nearest table and we were told by a waitress and security that we had to be along the fence. We asked about social distancing since there is NO way to do that along the fence. The answer was we don't make the rules. Where we were originally standing we were maintaining social distancing and now we can't with shoulder to shoulder along the fence. By having the reservation system, that limits the number of people and social distancing can be maintained.

Ordered the same as last week. The drinks were not as good and the food did not taste the same. Big disappointment. We tried other drinks and they weren't as good as other places. We had plans to visit later in the month, but we are going elsewhere now. They had a good thing going until now.

Food is EXCELLENT, service is good and the beach like setting with the lighting, several bars and live music just tops off the whole experience.

Good food. Disappointed they took my favorite dish off the menu ..green tomatoes with lumps of crab with awesome sauce! Also, not dog friendly :(

Atmosphere is great. Service was not. Server was busy, and I understand that, but being totally disinterested in answering any questions about drinks, etc is rude. Other than that, food was very good.

Perfect sized, perfect seasoned, with onions & lemon. DEVAINED Steamed Shrimp. Need I say more!

I love Sunset Cove. The outdoor bar is a blast. When music is played on the outdoor stage, the atmosphere is amazing.

Always a fun time here. Long long wait if you don't get there at the perfect time and parking fills up fast. Beautiful view of the water and food is decent.

Didn't like the booze ball. Tasted more like pure alcohol. I ordered a fishbowl and was satisfied with it. Overall, the food and views are great.

I'm a local so I have frequented Sunset Cove often and all year long. Today it's raining, so no crowds and a perfect place for lunch. This may be the last time I go there for food. I received the wrong appetizer, but there was still Ahi tuna so I tried not to be picky. The tuna was tough, over cooked and just bad. Our Galloway Fries? They sat under a heat lamp for so long the cheese was dry and hard and the fries were cold. Our shortrib flatbread? Cold. Our rocko tacos? Mostly cabbage. And I asked for regular salsa instead of mango salsa and got, what my best guess is, tomato soup in a cup. 100% liquid mystery non-salsa. And finally, my glass of Pinot Noir was obvious from a very old, opened forever bottle. Overall, this will NOT be a place we eat again.... though I may stop by for an occasional crush.

Great food, service. Nice, sandy waterfront outdoor seating with tikki bar & music outdoors during warmer months! A favorite girls night out for my daughter & I.

Favorite place! Delicious EVERY Time!! We drive from WV at least 4 times a month!! Perfection!!

I enjoyed the location, food and entertainment, but not a good place if you want to spend more than 2hours diggin the music and drinks with friends. 2Hr limit.

This place is amazing. Great for families with or without children. Food is excellent with good pricing. Our server, Mike, was the absolute best. The location, views and ambiance cannot be beat. Go and be prepared for a great dining experience. You won't regret it.

Good food for the $$$. Local party spot Friday and Saturday nights. Dockhands let 4 other random boats tie up to me while we were eating dinner last weekend. 5/21/15. I was stuck there untill 10:30 because the dockhands had no idea who was tied up to me. Its not going to keep me from going back, just anoyed.

Cover charge caught me off guard. I believe this was for getting in the facility. This is a bar/tiki bar kinda hang out place that has a restaurant. My impression was that it was a restaurant with a bar. This is also by the marina so there are boats around. Didn't get to sit in by the marina though because of an hour wait. The place seemed busier when we came so the wait for the food almost took 45 minutes. If you plan to check this place out, go on a weekday. I think the experience could've been better for us if we had known about the cover charge and had went on a slower day.

Great location, great food, nice atmosphere and the service was pretty good. I highly recommend going here for dinner, happy hour or just a nice place to go to enjoy food with nice scenery

Okay so we were here last night for the first time this summer and I was less than pleased! Now let me say this... in past years we come here at least 3-7 times a month but not anymore! I am giving 3 stars because with the exception of our cove fries the food is still good. Having said that our service was terrible and I was beyond irritated WITH THE $5 COVER TO EAT DINNER!! Just plain GREEDY!! And we were not the only ones that were angry....we heard others in the line complaining about it also, just a fyi sunset cove! I'm so disappointed! This has always been one of my favorite places!

Sat at the Tiki hut for dinner. Service was the best by far (Gooch) Ahi tuna appetizer, scallops and Chicken Neptune were incredible.

Just received food from sunset cove, the bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp salad was delicious!!!!! The people that delivered the food were great! Even got my paper for me! Please help support this restaurant, you won t be disappointed!!!!!!

Go for lunch often. Food is GREAT - view AMAZING - very friendly and efficient staff!! When the weather is nice you can sit at tables on the beach!!

They had a band playing sunday afternoon. It was great atmosphere and the food was tasty.

The weekday specials are great, and the weekend is wild in the summer!
