Very nice place to grab dinner..listen to music..enjoy happy hour..weekends here can be jam packed so I recommend trying it on a weekend..watch out with ordering seafood dishes sitting outside...the flies can get ridiculous..server's are great..and bartenders know how to make a good Mai Ti

My family lives across the water and visits here frequently, an amazing place, great food, drinks and fun! (Always)

When you're looking for a little escape from reality feels like you're down in Jamaica or Florida the drinks are good in the customer service is out of this and I definitely felt safe the security at sunset cove is the best

Great ambiance, polite employees, Stunning view ( Im talking about the water and the women) and its just a great place to kick back a few drinks and have a good time!!! %

Jeff was wonderful! Drinks were great! We ordered steak tacos and Cove fries and took a crab cake dinner to go. Only one negative my coleslaw was missing. Minor mishap, it happens. I will return.

The food was good and the view was great. However the cover charge and mediocre service were enough to keep us from going back. Also beware this is more of a bar than restaurant. It's loud and full of heavily intoxicated 20 somethings. No a spot for a romantic night.

It is a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. Service is good and staff is friendly. Loved chatting with Meghan who was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Sitting at the table outside in the sand next to the water is amazing.

Great location, friendly service. Excellent drinks. Stale croutons on caesar salad ruined entire salad. Might try again.

Went into this establishment for the 3rd or 4th time over the weekend this time during on a Saturday night.. there was a pretty large crowd and the wait time exceeded 30min. Once seated the waitress was extremely pleasant but you could see that she was obviously overwhelmed with the amount out tables that she was taking care of. When it came time to order my food.. I was indecisive and asked for the assistance of our waitress. She gave pretty suggestion and after a few minutes we decided on the shrimp quesadilla. Some home the waitress mixed up the order and brought me one of the items that we were looking at.. I expressed that I was not interested in that choice and wanted what I ordered however the waitress attempted to convince me to keep Order that she put in .. I asked for her to wrap the food to go because I no longer wanted to continue to ask her for what I really wanted. So I left, the next morning I still felt kinda strange about paying for a meal that I did not like or want so I attempted to reach out to Sunset Cove, to find a solution preferably just give them back this meal which I had not touched and get the quesadillas that I originally ordered. I definitely did not go that way. Nikki one of the managers, refused to exchange the meal, although we had the waitress who agreed that she screwed up standing there to attest. She had no empathy for the situation or the money that I lost with having food that I didn t order. She called the police and had me escorted out for asking her to exchange the food. She not once apologized or even cared she just kept repeating that it s company policy not to give money back or replace food.. one of the security officer pushed me out of the door while been recorded and was proud of it repeatedly saying his name and laughing.. this was the most humiliating situation that I have encountered with a place of business especially when I was not in the wrong.. I spent $80 that night and paid a cover charge to be treated like an animal. I would not recommend this place.

It was a nice place. Waitress was great. Parking sucked and food was just ok

My ribs tasted days old and they were dry, should have stuck to all seafood, cream of crab and coleslaw was delicious, fries were average

Great atmosphere, yummy drinks, food was good too. Better than I expected. Only 4 stars bc we waited abt 45 mins for our food. Atmosphere made up for. Will go back.

Nice riverfront outside dining. Tables and tiki bar. Typical waterside tiki bar menu, food well prepared.

They're on the water, at a marina. They've got tons of sand trucked in to make their own beach, which you can eat on at a picnic table if you want. They've got several bars, fire columns, a brick fireplace that's also outdoors... The water's even clean enough to swim in, but there are no lifeguards so you swim at your own risk. And there are ducks.

The wait staff is charismatic and fast. They can handle big groups with ease. The food is spot on, and the seafood options especially are good. The desserts are delicious, and the bartenders know a lot of mixed drinks.

The only bad things about this restaurant are the fact that when they're busy, they'll put a 2 hour time limit on your table, and the bugs. Bugs come with the territory when you're on the water, but they don't even provide citronella candles at the tables. Load up on bug repellent before you go.

This is a great marina. Lots of friendly people around and a great location.

This place is really hidden but worth the drive. Right on the water and next to a large marina. Tons of outdoor seating, umbrellas, fans, and seats in the sand. Dock your boat and come on in or drive and park in one of their 3 lots. There is an indoor seating area with porch overlooking water for cooler days. There is a large outdoor bar and stage for live music. Note: the Friday and Saturday night live music requires a $5 cash cover charge. We went for my birthday lunch and were not disappointed. We started with the crab dip fries. Way too much cheese but the dip had lots of crab and it was delicious. Then we got the burger topped with crab dip and the crab cake dinner. Both were wonderful. The crab cakes are small but they taste amazing! Even my broccoli was perfectly steamed and not trying to be anything but broccoli...it was delicious. My only complaint was that $35 for 2 small crab cakes, broccoli and mashed potatoes was outrageous!! I could get a crab cake 3x the size and the same sides at a local diner for less than $20. However, the weather was amazing, the view was great, the service was good, and we would absolutely go back!!

My coworker told me about this gem and I m obsessed the most beautiful place to enjoy drinks and scenery food is on the pricey side but soooo worth it, drinks are always less pricey. By far best local place to go

Nice water view. Food and drink not worth the price and the service is poor. The waitress was M.I.A. for the most part and It took 1hour to get an appetizer. Our entrees, another hour later which may have been longer had we not asked to cancel our order. Needless to say, this was my first and last visit at this establishment.

Interesting cheesy waterside dive. Outdoor area is nice and well kept. Was not impressed with the food. Drink selection was a bit pedestrian and really nothing outside of the ordinary bar stock. Quite crowded and busy on a nice day and difficult to get the bartenders attention.

Peaceful out door place to listen to music and eat.

Not impressed with thos place anymore. Wanted to get a table, apparently they were all booked up due to the lights on parade, the waitress said we could eat bar food. No thank you. Went to order a glass of wine outside and it was in a plastic cup which is fine but it wasn't worth $11.00. I'm done with coming there.

Sadly rather than capitalizing on the beach vibe with chill music they more often play the same music you hear elsewhere. If you want a more chill vibe & don't mind country music, check out crazy tuna

Great day to eat at Sunset Cove. The service was great. The food was okay. The drinks were good. Disappointed with the Mac & cheese with shirmp dish.

Very crowded when we went 1.5 hr wait for a table also once your seated 2hr limit on sitting at table we ended standing by the bar .The bartender was very pleasant and our drinks were good ,also a 5.00 cover charge because they had a band.

The drinks are good great atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Delicious. We had dinner outdoors and enjoyed the casual dining.

Crab cakes are excellent. Very busy on a Saturday night. Reservations helped, otherwise we would have had to wait. Very laid back place with a bar.

Good food on the water, nice staff. As a local, feels like you're away on vacation even when you're 20 mins from home. Weekend nights are definitely more packed and wild.

Cover charge to eat dinner?!? Fish tacos were terrible!

New to the area friends recommend it and was very happy with the food and the staff and the atmosphere.

This is a great Beach Resort Style restaurant with live entertainment, a boat dock, a beach, great food and drinks, multiple indoor and outdoor bars, and wonderful atmosphere. Try the rockfish bites, they are amazing!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Food was very filling, however it could've been seasoned a bit more. There's inside and outside seating, no wait on the inside. There was a 50 min wait at 8 .. on a Thursday night.
One another note, there's only 1 sink in the ladies room - about 4 stalls though!

Atmosphere is fun, honestly reminiscent of being at the beach. Food was your typical seafood items and appetizers, but all came out delicious with friendly service. You can't really beat drinking orange crushes, feet in the sand, while relaxing to island music overlooking the bay. Total gem.

Wonderful atmosphere. Everything is so layed back. You can arrive by boat or car. The marina is beautiful and well kept. Great place to bring the kids. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the food, had the seared ahi for starters and was simply amazed! Looking forward to my next visit already.

The setting and food are great. The wait time is super long.... come and check in ahead of time sharing your number. Then find something to do in the neighborhood while you wait (either walk on the dock or go check out nearby Miami Beach)

This is a great Marina. The people are friendly. The grounds (and bathrooms) are clean. It's less expensive than comparable locations.

Nice evening out on a Friday night. Pretty lively band, beautiful sunset, good time. Only negative was the tiki bartender being rude when we asked a few questions. Other wait staff was great. We would definitely return.

Was not happy with my food crab cake was small and dry. Roll was very good but way to big for the crab cake. Fries were good but not many for the price. Service was not great for checking on you. We set inside on deck. View is the best thing about are visit.

We went to celebrate my daughter's 8th grade graduation. We were told we had a longer wait because we had a party of 13 and needed 2 tables. When we finally got seated they crammed us at 1 table, although there were several empty tables near us. We asked to have the second table and we're told a party of 20 was about to be seated. A party of give was actually seated. Six if you count the employee that was at the table the entire time eating. We asked to speak to a manager and he came and told us had we asked for a manager right away he could have done something. Our waitress was really good. The food was so so. Needless to say we will not be going back not recommending this establishment to anyone who asks. There are other restaurants in the water in the same area that are more hospitable with better food. Save your time and money and visit one of those.

This is the place where outdoor seating has met the standard of what outdoor seating is supposed to be. Totally love this place.

Food was amazing, but I had a Mojito and the lemon was bad, made the mojito taste very bad they wouldn't exchange my drink.

Super hot and humid during our visit this past weak. However dockhand was very helpful as we cruised up and we enjoyed our cocktails and food. Our waitress Maria was very pleasant. Note: Lots of stairs to get to restaurant level from the dock area.

Great vibe and place to hang out. I was there after dark, but look forward to heading there again to take in the sunset.

That was the first time I ever been there and it was a beautiful place the people was wonderful and I will come back again and bring people the scenery was real nice you can look out at the water and the boats beautiful

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being on the sand with the bar and the music is really nice. On the other hand the drinks are watered down and the burger and fish were really dry, for the price that you pay for food and drinks makes this place really not worth it.

The hostesses were terrible they told our group it would be 5 minutes to get a table an hour and 30 minutes later we are just getting seated! If it's going to be an hour or more just say how long it will be!!! On a positive note once we were seated our waitress Erica was awsome she was very attentive and smiled the entire time. Good came out quick and was very good

Nice atmosphere, great food, friendly staff. While waiting to be seated customers were allowed to smoke in that same area was the only drawback.

Service here is much better than it was a few years ago. Always have a great band playing in the evening hours. Food is pretty good and the drink menu has a ton of good cocktails

Would have liked to try this place, however they wanted to charge me $5 to sit down in the restaurant. Obviously the money was not the issue, just the principal of a cover charge for a restaurant. I probably would have spent $200-300 with appetizers, entrees, drinks, and a generous tip. Unfortunately we will never know. It is a shame really as the place looked really interesting and had so good word of mouth from friends. Proof of my point, I would have paid 5 10% extra on my bill for whatever entertainment they had for the evening, just not a cover for a restaurant

Food was good. We bought hot wings fish n chips and a crab cake meal, that came to 95.00. We paid 13.65 for a service fee and and another 13.65 18% gratuity due to covid, that part is cool. The service charge however we were not served seated or waited on. The man at the bar who's eyes seem to be the only one working took our order after a while. Would I go bk? Unfortunately no. I get better service and better food at G&M restaurant. There scenery was very nice though.

Great place to be during nice summer days or nights

Fun place. Food was good. The day we were there there was a problem with the frozen drink machines. Live band was excellent.
